The New Brookfield Market and Deli

Stopped in when they first opened and got a burger and was pleased with the fast service and good burger. Recently stopped in for a sandwich made to order which was delicious! Friendly staff and a clean spot. Life saver for our bacon hunt on Christmas Day! If I could give more stars, I would! Stop by!

The butter chicken and chicken biryani is the BEST here and the samosas, gulag jamun, and Pakora is amazing too. I’ve tried many of the chicken entrees and each one is great.

The market has almost everything you need to make most Indian dishes yourself but if you don’t know how or want to have it made for you their take out is amazing. I’ve tried many items from the take out many and every one has been absolutely delicious and authentic.

I was excited to see they started carrying Haldiram’s!

Besides the great selection everyone is so friendly and is such a wonderful gem in the middle of Brookfield.

It always feels like home away from home when I go there.

Amazing food as always, my top place to get food from, nothing else compares. I'm curious as to what region of India the chef/owner is from as the flavors are amazing and this place blows the competition away, other places I've been can simply not compare. Thanks again!!

I have eaten Indian food all over the world pretty much and also worked in an Indian restaurant. This is some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. As an expat missing a good curry, this is my go to place.

Absolutely delicious! Best Indian food in the area by far.

I have tried a few different Indian dishes from their kitchen and they are very flavorful and well made, and the portion size is extremely generous. The food is restaurant quality, but the establishment is more of a deli/grocery store set up. Their menu is very extensive, I think in time it would be best for them to limit their menu options and highlight the stuff they do well. Too much variety may end up costing them. I do love that they have an Indian grocery store, too. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, and eager to satisfy! Definitely check them out!

Delicious Indian food and much of it is gluten free...butter chicken, chicken curry, beef curry, palaak paneer, and more. We went with group to get take out, and everyone enjoyed the food. They also have deli options which we have not had yet.

Excellent Indian/Pakistani dishes! Restaurant quality and substantial portions. Definitely, will be back as I make my way through the menu. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

The food is really good. It's a market and a deli.
Soups, sandwiches, burgers, and a hot buffet with Indian food. The market has a large selection of Indian groceries. However, if you are looking for baked goods, I found really good Challah bread here.

What is quite unexpected is that the deli has made-to-order Indian food that is as good as any NYC restaurant. If you can't get good Indian food near Brookfield, go here. You will be pleasantly surprised. It's absolutely delicious.

The Indian food may seem a little pricey for a deli but the huge quantities make the price more than fair.

Stopped in to pick up something for lunch and discovered a small market with a wide selection of food choices. Besides a breakfast menu they had Sandwiches, hamburgers , fries, grinders,and gyros. They also had a very creamy clam chowder, (We took a quart home for dinner ). They also had a small selection of Indian food prepared. I had Butter Chicken one of their milder choices, while my wife went with the more traditional burger and fries. We will be going back. They do have a larger Indian menu for me to explore.

Give these guys a good look. Wonderful people, generous portions or are they doing it just for me. Need to start sampling the main course dishes. Not sure on Indian or Pakistan food but I'm sure the chef will steer me in the right direction. Check out the fresh soup made daily along with baked goods. I hear they are expanding to stock Indian or far eastern groceries. They also sell beer and lottery. A can't lose stop.

Delicious hot food to go. The Indian dishes are particularly good. The market and deli are also convenient with typical sundries, staples and some fresh produce if you want to avoid the big grocery stores. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Support local businesses!

The store is very compact but but very well organized. You must try the butter chicken. Very good.

Great Pakistani food right here in Brookfield. The store is very clean and has a wide variety of stuff, including meat and vegetables. The owner is also very nice!

We got the tikka masala and buttered chicken - it was delicious and we will definitely be coming back!

5 Stars for their Indian food!! We stopped by for the first time just to look around and decided to take a chance on the Indian food. We ordered Goat Biryani with spicy rice and Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan and loved all of it!! (The spicy rice definitely had a bite to it but was tolerable for me, who doesn't like "spicy".) There are only 2 of us and we probably have enough left over for another meal. We will definitely go back!

It's a hidden gem. The Indian food was delicious and the variety of products and spices was amazing!

At last, really good Indian food - right here in Brookfield. We had the Goat Curry, Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken, with Naan and Raita - all excellent. Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu.

Our go-to Indian cuisine, strictly take-out so far (though eating there in the store would be pleasant), and consistently B+ or better. When Amba Vilas Palace sadly closed in New Fairfield, we (urban eaters domiciled in NW Corner) happened upon this cool combo deli where international cook Manjur (Saudi Arabia, London, etc.) fires up the main sub-continental courses, ably assisted by veteran Bethel chef Pete as sous and pastry chef, while Mahmoud lends great welcome and charm. We order lots every few weeks. Misc.: Try the soup of the day, whatever it is, and the apple crumb and other confection are first rate.
