I had an “emergency” with my rabbit, Kaiser, two weekends ago. It was not an “emergency” per se, but was to me because of a prior experience I had with another rabbit that I lost. I recently moved to the area and was about to be away on a work trip for a week. I work in the veterinary field so I know how hard it is to get appointments, let alone a last minute one. That on top of not being an established client. I explained the situation and the receptionist could not have been kinder or more understanding. I was somehow able to get an appointment with Dr. Fitzpatrick just a couple of hours later. The entire staff was so phenomenally amazing and didn’t make me feel like a freak for being worried about my bunny. Dr. Fitzpatrick took great time and care with Kaiser and I, and gave him medication to be safe. It made me feel so much better.

We've been so happy with Salmon Brook Veterinary Hospital. We've been taking out dog there for 2 years, he actually enjoys going. They take such good care of him and they always do their best to fit him in and are very thorough.

I contacted Salmon Brook for a pre purchase exam on a horse. I unfortunately live too far away and Dr. Weber had to view the horse without me. He was a fabulous communicator and spoke with me before and after the exam. He answered all of my questions and took his time. Great experience with him and his clinic!

Dr. Kalleta is the best as is her tech and all of the staff! Everyone is so loving of your fur-baby and caring about you too! So much positive energy in that office. Other vets could take a lesson from them!

Excellent knowledgeable veterinarian and staff. Excellent hours and availability. Veterinarian calls me if I have any questions or concerns. Clean facilities. Friendly front desk staff. My dog receives wonderful care here and I would highly recommend them.

I just started bringing my 6-year old leopard gecko here less than 2 months ago and already feel like we've been with this practice for years!

The staff are very friendly and very understanding. My 2nd visit was for my sick gecko, and they were very accomidating and got us in quickly. The receptionist went beyond to try to get further directions while we waited for our appointment day.

Dr. Fitzpatrick was very easy to talk to and very compassionate towards my gecko Bellamy, who is now on the mend thanks to her.

I absolutely love Salmon Brook! I have 3 chinchillas and Dr MacNamera is absolutely amazing with them! Wouldn’t bring my boys to anyone else!

These guys are great! I brought my goat down from Mass to have a surgery and they treated him so well. We have even been texting with them during follow up at home care! Can’t recommend enough for your farm animals.

We are new patients. We are very pleased with the care our 2 doggies are getting. We are getting used to not seeing the same vet each visit but happy with all we have met.
Like everything vetinary care is getting very expensive

We are new to the area and were worried about finding a good local vet for our family fur baby. Salmon Brook is awesome! They were able to fit us in, the appointment time was 2:30 and our pup was called at 2:40. Has never happened before anywhere we have been! Everyone was kind, compassionate but yet professional. We cannot believe how many hours this vet is open. We are so happy to have found a vet close to our new home that we feel comfortable taking a fur family member to. We highly recommend them!

I went to the Salmon Brooke vet Hospital on October 12th 2023 because I had to take Rocky my Leopard Gecko to get his swollen eye checked out and he has a bit of a blockage also between his legs, (there's a medical term for what he had but I forgot but but basically the blockage made it difficult to do his business) and I've never taken Rocky to a reptile vet before. I went with my partner/girlfriend because she loves Rocky and wanted to know a few things about him. Anyways everyone who we saw were absolutely amazing. Everyone was so sweet and courteous. The reptile vet Doc. McNamara and her helper (don't remember her name shame on me), did an AMAZING job with Rocky. Answered all my questions and worries about what was going on. Oh and the place has no other customers at the time so it was just Rocky and I had the doc and her assistant gave Rocky all the attention he needed. And I can't thank you them enough for helping him and making me feel more comfortable about how to continue his medical care after the visit and make him healthier because hes a bit overweight and how to properly keep his weight in check. And I have to give him eye drops for about 14 days. It was a lot to remember but I thank her and her assistant for everything they could do for rocky. Right now I'm currently making changes to his home and how get gets fed among other things. I would absolutely recommend Salmon Brook Vet to anyone with a reptile.

First time visit. It went wonderfully! Willow is a young rescue, kinda high strung & nervous meeting new people & in new surroundings. She warmed up very quickly to staff and her visit went great. Extra treats helped significantly as she can never get enough ❤❤

I can not speak highly enough abough each member of this team. They collaboratively saved my dog. From the first call, ecouraging me to come in ASAP, to the call letting me know my dog had an obstruction, their compassion and readiness to address the situation were the perect balance. My dog survived swallowing a toy that had been there far too long. His care was flawless. The office staff were supportive. So thankful for this team and my pup's renewed chance at life.

We recently got our first goats and have chosen to use Salmon Brook for our Veterinary needs. Dr Kate and staff have been absolutely amazing!. Highly recommended!

We hands down love Salmon Brook for our farm animals care. There is no one better than Dr Webber and his staff. Our goats are always cared for and we always receive quick responses.

My Cockapoo, Lady, and I have become a new patient family at Salmon Brook. We’ve seen two different doctors so far and both were excellent. Blood draw was almost unnoticed by my dog. Staff is pleasant and caring. Ann was particularly patient while we tried obtaining a urine specimen. Prices are competitive but I have confidence in the care they give.

We rescued a leopard gecko that is very sick, and I got an appointment for him within a few days. The staff was more than friendly and so was the vet herself. They took all the time in the world to take care of the gecko, and made sure he was doing ok.
A great value for the money spend!!! I defintely recommend this wonderful animal hospital!

Wow wow WOW. I adopted two kittens and within the first week, they had some health issues. I called the vet they were seen by and enrolled them as patients. I had called on Friday evening to see if the vets had any openings since the two kittens, Myth and Malice, were having some diarrhea and vomiting issues. They asked for me to bring a stool sample Saturday morning. We felt that wasn’t enough so we seemed some ER walk in hospitals to no avail. After contacting Salmon Brook again for any openings, they saw I was in a dire situation and made room for Myth and Malice for Saturday. What made me feel safe and secure at this practice was the fact that it was Dr. Groshek himself called me on Monday early afternoon with the results. It’s so comforting to know that we are in good hands.

We recently relocated to the area and did a lot of research on veterinarians to take care of our boys. We were completely impressed with the level of care we received from every person in this office from reception to check out. While some of the reviews we read were not favorable, we chose this vet based on QUALITY of care, credentials and their history in Granby. Don’t believe everything you read, the staff and care was way beyond our expectations and we will continue to rely on this vet to care for our very important family members.
