Stop & Shop

The Stop and Shop in Granby is a great place to shop for groceries. They have a vast selection of everything, and I was able to find the brand of coffee creamer I was looking for. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for groceries in the area.

The workers are really nice. They have a Great selection of frozen foods. Self checkout is a life saver if you need something in a pinch but don't have time to wait in a line. If you're looking for keto ice cream or ice cream in general, this is the place to go.

Haven’t been to a stop and shop in years and decided to stop here because I needed a few things, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and well stocked and I found everything I needed with ease and it wasn’t overly crowded at all. The staff was super helpful. I will definitely be here more often.

I always check the International section and today they had bottles of Irn Bru. With some help from a passing tall person (I'm too short to reach the back of a top shelf) I bought them all. Hopefully you get more stock in. Happy husband when I showed him my surprise purchase! 7/14/22. At the last minute Walgreens cancelled my 3rd booster shot appointment. Checked online and found that this location of Stop n Shop could accommodate me today. Very quick turnaround from going in, to being seen to. Polite, helpful staff. I would recommend this location. Only issue was that if you fill in the paperwork online that it takes several hours for it to be transferred to the store. There's only 2 pages to complete so it's not too bad but just something to be aware of.

Grocery shopping is a grind and I hate it. But when I was at the Granby S&S picking up steak and seafood for my husband yesterday, I was thrilled to watch a fun camaraderie happening between the employees working at the meat and seafood counters. Especially the guy at the seafood counter, who is a riot and a super nice person...they were all working and laughing and bouncing jokes off each other and if you think this is not important enough to write a review about then you've been sleeping through 2020 and 2021. We need the laughs and the camaraderie. I haven't smiled in a grocery store in about 150 years, but yesterday, I actually laughed and left feeling better than when I went in. Thanks for that! Husband reports the steak was awesome.

The employees are great here! The prepared meals woman and guy, all the Deli women and the Cowboys (blech)-lovin' butcher are all very nice! It's a smaller store so selection is a bit lower than others maybe, but it suits me 99% of the time. Only gripe is they keep taking away parking spots!! Just took EIGHT more prime spots for online pickup BS. If they don't want us to browse the store, might as well close it. It gets old hiking-in, in bad weather especially. I'm not handicapped (plenty of those spots too), but I'm not a spring chicken either. If S&S keeps pushing us farther out it's easy to go to the competition up the way, also with nice people but plenty of good parking, too.

This stop and shop is fabulous!! I work for instacart and cant always find the strange items requested of my customers😂the employees were very kind and extremely helpful no matter how many questions I had!!! Over-all excellent shopping experience!!!

I find that this store is clean every time I visit, from the bottle room, produce, meats, restrooms and checkouts, they are always clean. The store is also well stocked, rarely if ever out of anything. Prices are also far better than the other options in the immediate surrounding area.

Great Local Grocery store!! We just moved to the area recently and was happy to have a stop and shop not to far from the house!!

My favorite Stop and Shop! Great hours, great staff, and all the products you would expect. Wish they had a salad bar, but that's forgivable.

I asked a stop and shop employee about a product that I buy all the time it wasn't there and he ordered it for me and told me when it will be available for pickup I've been to many other stop & shops and no one has ever done that for me my daughter is very limited on what she can eat and he made sure that what she can what she can eat was made available for her

The Granby, CT location is great. The people are always friendly and helpful. The pharmacy has wonderful people. The prices are good and the variety is excellent.

I go there everyday, the staff there is amazing and has the best seafood and meat around, the butchers and seafood lady are amazing!! They are always happy to help you and even help you search for stuff that aint even there department...excellent deli staff as well !!

They are starting to expand the healthy foods section . There are probiotic drinks and alternativesto soda that are sugarless and fructose free. They also carry vegan robs. My favorite!

Stop and Plop; great place to stop and then "plop" (aka caca suddenly and/or accidentally). I do it in aisle 8 everytime!

Really nice love the cakes, they put whatever you want, if is a birthday or a holiday. Clean store.

This grocery store works very hard to provide good produce, clean store, and kind service. They will help you find things or even provide cooking ideas if you ask.

I love stop&shop great prices and staff are really helpful the also have a stop&shop app you can download to your phone to get more deals and coupons for everyday savings.
