Dr. John Carroll

I have been a patient of Dr. Heim since he started his practice in Glastonbury. There are many dentists in the area to choose from but, in my opinion, none would be better. Every dentist has similar equipment. It's the person that makes the difference. He is kind, gentle and caring. When I got married and had children, we all were, and remain, patients of Dr. Heim. I find his staff outstanding as well. Kathy at the front desk is extremely responsive and so pleasant to deal with. His dental hygienists are nice people, thorough in their work while sensitive to your comfort.

My semi-annual teeth cleaning. Always a pleasure to have my teeth cleaned by Sharon. She is professional with a gentle touch. The entire staff at Dr. Heim and Dr. Carroll's office are so friendly and welcoming. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Heim check my teeth after the cleaning and he was able to provide answers to some small issues I have been having. JB

Heim & Carroll is the only dental practice I will visit or recommend to others. My hygienist Sharon and Dr. Heim truly care about my well-being, and they take extreme pride in their work. Their care is thorough, professional, effective, and friendly. Even the receptionist greets you as a welcomed friend. Visit once and you will be a patient for life, as I am!

Dr. Heim and Dr. Carroll have been my dentists for over 5 years. Their work is excellent -- I have had crowns and bridges and implants and fillings and cleanings. They care about their my health and go out of their way to make me comfortable during dental procedures. Their staff are all competent, professional and personal. I highly recommend this practice.

My latest semi-annual cleaning and checkup were both efficiently and expertly handled. There were ample e-mail reminders of my appointment, there was virtually no waiting for the hygienist to start the cleaning process, and my post-cleaning checkup by Dr. Heim found a couple of issues that he clearly explained. I left my appointment feeling that I am in very competent hands, which is why I have been coming to this practice for more than 20 years.

Dr. Carroll is the best dentist ever. The hygienists are great too - very gentle and caring. I actually enjoy going to Dr. Carroll’s office! If you ever need a cleaning, filling, cosmetic work or even if you’re having a dental emergency, Dr. Carroll is your guy.

Let's face it. No one looks forward to a trip to the dentist. And until they invent a noiseless drill and Novocaine that doesn't require a needle...going to the dentist is a date with anxiety.

But my anxiety is significantly less when I go to Dr. Carroll. Significantly. He is sweet and gentle and I know when I am in that chair, his focus is completely on me. The man is a peach. Just as important for any dentist is his staff. And Dr. Carroll's are the best. They know everyone coming in has some level of stress in being there and they know how to make you feel comfortable. The combination of great dentistry and excellent staff are why I won't go anywhere else. My thanks to Dr. Carroll and staff!

I have been going to Dr. Heim and Dr. Carroll's practice for years. The staff is AMAZING! Everyone, from the front desk, to the dental hygienists, to the dentists themselves go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and feel welcome. I cannot say enough good things about this practice!

I have no fear of going to my dentist's office. Everyone there makes me feel at home. Today, I went for a teeth cleaning and did not need to be checked by the dentist, but Dr. Heim came in to say "Hello" anyway. He is very patient and always explains everything. I remember how proud he was when he made me a tooth with his 3-D printer. Instead of giving me a temporary tooth and telling me to come back a few weeks later, he was able to sculpt my tooth on the computer, print it before my eyes, clean it and insert it. In less than two and a half hours, I was out the door, a happy camper. I am also impressed with his humanitarian work - in Guatemala and in Connecticut. I highly recommend the office of Dr. Heim and Dr. Carroll.

Can't say enough good things. First, I had missed routine appointments and he made me perfectly comfortable....no judgment. Next, he and the staff worked me in to the schedule as quickly as possible get up to date. Lastly, when I did go to get a filling, it was nearly painless and I was in and out on my lunch hour.

Dr. Carroll and the staff are friendly, funny, and incredibly accommodating. Our whole family goes and loves them!

Excellent! Office Staff are always friendly and cheerful. My recent cleaning was unique: Pleasant, quick, friendly,and professional. A light touch and no-no discomfort. The Ultrasonic scaler in Amanda's hands was a new and pleasant experience.

As a fairly new patient, I had some anxiety about my one hour visit yesterday, with 2 large, deep fillings to be replaced. What an easy visit, with no pain or discomfort! No after pain! Great work by Dr. Heim and his assistant!

Amanda was wonderful; she used a new method of cleaning my teeth that was actually pleasant; not all that manual scraping that I was used to all the other visits I went to. She is very nice to work with, and I hope I get her again the next time I go in for my checkup.

I was given an appt on short notice. Then, when I was on my way, the pain stopped. I was tempted to cancel, but wanted to understand why I had the pain. I was worried that it would seem lame to show up without an active problem. Dr. Heim and his staff took my situation very seriously and spent quite a while to check various possibilities. He explained what could have caused the recent pain, easing my mind. I appreciate the respect I was given during a situation that could have been awkward.

I have an excellent visit today....six month cleaning!!!! Michelle did an amazing job with the instruments. No pain, all gain!!!! Come here!!!! :)

Always cheerfully greeted! Always made to feel comfortable... Always informed on what is to be done... Procedures are always done professionally and with great care for my comfort... Great people / Nice atmosphere
