Always a very helpful staff. Pharmacist David was above and beyond helpful resolving my prescription. Promptly and professionally filling my order. Thank you very David.

While this pharmacy and sometimes front of store has a high turnaround rate which leaves many patients and customers with inconsistent service, I can guarantee you all the employees, under the great current store manager Brian, do the best they can (which is more often than not excellent). As a former employee of this store, I would like to hope everyone knows they do a great job there, and at the very least I always did my absolute best to serve the Simsbury community at this Walgreens. Absolute best pharmacist I've seen yet,and I'm 50 !?? Regina who was swamped made a phone call for me to a diff pharmacy for the important Ned I needed and made it happen. .She deserves I raise or vacation!! You cannot put a price on service like hers .Thank you Regina ,and Walgreens .

[Please note this is a review for the pharmacy services and doesn't include the front store] The Simsbury Walgreen's pharmacy has an extremely large selection of drugs. If your local store doesn't stock a rare prescription, this pharmacy might have it. The best part is the store is 24 hours. This is great for emergency prescriptions and ER visits. The staff is timely and friendly, Overall a great store.

01.08.2022 - Turnover in this store is killing customer service. Really? Bad training, long wait because they don't know what they are doing. BAD.

Everytime I come to the pharmacy I am greeted by a wonderful smile and great customer service. Isabella in the pharmacy is always happy to help and is incredibly knowledgeable.

24 hours is the best feature as not many 24 hour places around. Lots of selection and store is clean.

Pharmacy staff is great. The pharmacy manager really cares about their patients.

I love this store.

I like Walgreen's because sometimes in the seasonal aisles they have all seasonal items at low prices after the holidays and some Walgreen's are open 24 hours. The Walgreen's on Albany Avenue in Hartford are using Rite-Aid's old hours the store is open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am-6pm and the pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm Saturday 9am-6pm and Sunday 10am-6pm.

Decent service and good selection of products; just a typical Walgreens. Has a drive thru pharmacy.

The Pharmacy department was very helpful assisting me and my daughter.

Altho Amy is rude, John and Scott are AWESOME. John is just the nicest cashier I have ever encountered. So friendly and smiling and kind. I will shop here everyday if he is working

Inexperienced pharmacists. Store and pharmacy hours were just downgraded and no longer a 24 hour store. Pretty sad as one of the only 24 hour pharmacies/establishments in the area.

I used this pharmacy for a number of years. Did a good job. Maybe blame it on covid??? Things be have taken a long time to get in system, lot of mistakes, not enough help, trying to reach in phone now impossible without 45 minutes but kicker is they shortened their hours, need to find another pharmacy.

Please for the love of all that is holy close this pharmacy!!!!!! I can’t begin to explain every mistake and negative experience at this location. Every negative review is true and then some. Also the heavy set tall girl with badly dyed red hair is clearly in distress even being there (pharm tech) and she’s awful. New manager/pharmacist every day the turnover is unreal. Always out of stock, doing partial refills due to their own negligence, disorganized, chaotic. Don’t forget you will never be able to call them and get a human on the phone - ever. Even when I tried to have cvs transfer me from here they tried for 3 days multiple times and no one ever answered then they get disconnected. I don’t think anyone there has any sort of organized process for doing their literal licensed jobs. Also they randomly close the drive thru way before closing because of how bad it is. And don’t ever expect your meds to be filled on time it takes them days extra than anywhere else. And to my earlier point, if you need your meds transferred you’ll have to go in person and have them call where you want it to go due to their lack of picking up any phone calls. Never ever go here - they truly need to shut the pharmacy down. Pure and utter chaos
