Otter Cove Restaurant & Bar

Had a wonderful birthday meal. It was the day before St. Patrick's Day so the specials were Irish oriented. My husband had the whiskey honey glazed salmon which he said was very tasty. My daughter had the traditional corned beef and cabbage and my son had Shepard's pie. Not much was left to bring home in doggie bags. Lots of nice wood paneling inside and we were seated near the fireplace. The grandkids even enjoyed it.

Arriving into Old Saybrook we were told to check this restaurant out. We are glad we did .
Exceptional service and amazing food. The baby back ribs are to die for.
The cheese cake was super and a big portion.
We definitely recommend this place. If the weather is nice, it outside! It very relaxing!

Another great restaurant/bar in the area. I highly suggest the firecracker calamari. It was cooked perfectly. Extremely friendly and attentive bartender. They do close at 9pm though because it is a residential neighborhood. Beautiful interior and a nice outside terrace. You won't be disappointed.

Everything was perfect. Excellent food, great service, and thank you Doc for recommending the specials. I had potstickers to start and a wonderful seafood risotto. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

My family and I have been visiting this restaurant for the past 10 years and we have always enjoyed everything we eat there. This last visit, something I always ordered on the menu was no longer listed. The chef personally made arrangements so that I could have my cherished dish. They are truly wonderful and personable people. Thank you Scott & Lisa!!

Busy place! But if you want the best food go to the busiest restaurant. Food was great, our server was friendly and the beer was good. Wife and MIL enjoyed, too

Excellent place Fish tacos were fantastic and the Coconut Cake was to die for.

We were in the area celebrating my husband's birthday. I have to say that our experience was special. Our server Taylor was so gracious and the food is off the hook. Money well spent. You can't get any fresher than that. We recommend it 💯 %. Thank you Taylor..

The best food around, I have never had a bad meal here. Their steak tacos are the best around but everything here is the best. The wait staff is always polite and professional. I highly recommend Otter Cove restaurant.

Cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was with all aspects- beyond impressed.
Food? I might just have had the freshest, tastiest blackened salmon in many years. I've been all over- just blew me away. 6 stars if I could.

Had my daughter's bridal shower here. Could not say enough. The staff was absolutely cheerful attentive and kind. The food was exceptional would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Lesa and Scott went way out of their way way over-the-top thank you so much

Our party of four were very pleased with our dinners and service at Otter Cove. The interior is welcoming
and not too loud ( we had made reservations for 6 pm and were seated quite a distance from the busy bar area). The waitress was pleasant and there were many specials listed- decent beer and wine options. Apparently there is a shortage of lobsters currently and my wife had to make a second choice.
I had a huge mound of perfect whole belly clams. One of our guests exclaimed three times about how delicious her dinner was. Desert and coffee were also excellent. We never once felt rushed and enjoyed
the evening.

The staff is very nice. The food is delicious. We go everything we are in town.

Great fresh food. Interesting daily specials. Nice patio for outdoor dining. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The last time we went was on a Thursday night and they have a twenty dollar lobster special with potatoes and vegetables. Reasonably priced.

We love Otter Cove, the best kept secret in Old Saybrook. We go almost every week and it never disappoints and the servers are very friendly.
