Super 8 by Wyndham Council Bluffs IA Omaha NE Area

I had an excellent stay at the Super 8 motel! From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making the process smooth and hassle-free. The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a comfortable bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities, including free high-speed Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, and a microwave, which added convenience to my stay. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, offering a variety of options to start the day. The location was perfect, close to major highways, restaurants, and local attractions. Overall, the Super 8 exceeded my expectations, providing exceptional value for the price. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for clean, comfortable, and affordable accommodation.

This is a little long but wanted to give my honest opinion! Not sure if these are actually read by the owner(s)/manager(s) but wanted to make other's aware. Overall, this was a great place to stay! The front desk clerks were very friendly and we had some fun conversations! My room was on the first floor, twin size bed (very comfortable), clean, had grab rails in the shower and both sides of the toilet, didn't have any bad smells when I walked into my room. These are my complaints about it...first, housekeeping needs to do a little better job at cleaning as I found a can of pop in the dorm fridge freezer. I'm not sure how long it had been in there & I'm honestly surprised that it hadn't exploded! Second, there was garbage behind the fridge. Not much, just 3 items but no guest wants to find a previous guest's garbage. Third, they really need to clean the window sills...it was filthy. Fourth, when a guest stays longer than 1 night, housekeeping brings a linen bag that consists of 2 bath towels, 1 bath mat, 1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, roll of toilet paper & the little things of soap & shampoo & conditioner. The first bag I got was correct. The next bags, not so much. And the smoke detector wasn't even hung up! It, along with the battery, was just laying on the one stand. But, again, my room was nice, bed was comfortable, heater worked well, bathroom was clean, fridge worked, employees were very nice! If I had to stay again in the area, I'd stay there again! Right across the street is two different truck stops & a Casey's so you really don't even need to go far for good food and snacks! So, I'm editing my review to add...the front entry area, does NOT look like it shows in the pictures! It's clean yes, but there's no seating areas if you want to eat the free breakfast. My room did not smell like smoke like some of the other complaints in other reviews. You don't need the keycard to get in through the side door. And the parking lot was pretty dirty too. Yes, I get it, it's a parking lot. But, it's like people think it's a garbage can and just throw stuff out of their car. And apparently you don't need a handicap placard or plate to park in the handicap spots either 🤦🏻‍♀ While it was a fairly decent room, not sure if I'd stay there again.

Definitely got what I paid for
Great cheap rate and got a shower and clean bed to sleep in. Little scared of reviewers saying bed bugs but it was good. All we are doing is sleeping there so don't need to spend a bunch

I had a very easy check in. The lobby was tidy and it smelled clean. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and professional. I was offered an upgrade from a queen room to a king room! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and I slept very well. Everything was clean and all amenities were in the room including a hairdryer which was located under the sink with the towels. I had a great experience and 10/10 would stay here again.

I was having a pretty difficult day, the front desk clerk was extremely helpful and kept me safe when my ex wasn’t being very appropriate. My keys for my car bent and Charlie that works there took me inside and fixed my keys and walked me to my car. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Definitely recommend this hotel! :)

Wasn't bad at all. Me and my guest enjoyed it. Would stay there again. Only problem is the window didn't have locks and there was a skinny stick stopping it from opening.

I'm not telling this is luxury hotel. But I highly recommend this place to someone who searching for a place to stay few days. Place was clean and calm. Enough space to park your vehicle. I stay here two days to visit Omaha Zoo with my wife in a busy weekend. I couln't found any other close place for this much cheaper price.

Stayed just one night. Rooms are upgraded and clean rooms. Front desk person friendly. Close to exit to I80 and I29.

I enjoyed my stay at this Super 8
They keep the rooms fresh and clean and make sure there's enough rags and towels and don't skip out on the soap. The linen is fresh, and the beds are neatly made. This hotel is also a great place to stay from a long road trip like I came from.

Friendly staff. It's great they allow dogs as long as your not next to a room that the dog barks all the time especially when you work with customers on the
phone. However, the staff did address the issue right away.

As far as super 8 motel this is the best in the area all round . The front desk lady Carla is very sweet and helpful always smiling and goes out of her way to accommodate m And Bj the housr keeper is helpful always polite and he will take the time to help you with things like locate your stuff that git forgot and he will get an answer for you if he don't have it . He is always busy and hustling and great asset to this business!

Everyplace has one employee but the rest of this staff way make up for it. The place is clean and safe as any other affordably priced lodging but the desk staff make this experience worth saving the funds
