Just a basic park with a good view of the falls and some trails. Good place to kayak.

Beautiful waterside beauty of nature of flowing water into hydro electricity. Science at its finest…

A beautiful spot to recharge one's soul. It is easy to access, with enough parking for a few cars and trucks with boat trailers. Just be aware that in times of extremely high water levels the city officials will close the park, but it is for visitor's safety.

Came at very high water. Even the parking lot is full. The sound of the roaring falls is amazing.

Lovely little spot to stop for lunch. Very quiet, just a few people fishing. Great spot to photograph the falls.

Really nice little park. And a short walk along the river way is really nice.

If I lived in Vergenness, I'd be here often.

Perfect for mooring your boat, walking around, fishing, kayaking, reading a book, mediation to the sound of waterfalls behind you or gathering with friends. This public space doesn't disappoint. Check out this Great Blue Heron across the creek.

Nice place to have a picnic. Tables, waterfall, a fun kids book puzzle that leads you around the park area. I enjoy having family picnics and walks at this local spot. Occasionally an off smell from the treatment plant next door that can throw you off when you drive up if the wind is from that direction. The park loops around it a distance so if you catch a bad smell just walk around the corner and enjoy a different part of the river. Watch the river bank as you move down it, poison ivy is plentiful outside of the mowed/maintained area.

Great spot to tie up. 20a or 50a power for boaters only one 50a though. Picnic tables and charcoal grills on both sides of the creek. Slight current from the falls.

Great for fishing, relaxing or launching a boat into beautiful otter creek. On certain fair weather nights the falls are lit up in different colors too. Beautiful!

We went by boat. Very nice spot. Does get crowded with boats of all kinds. Motor in early, walk the park and the city street. Eat at the Black Sheep rest!

Beautiful falls, especially at night when they light it up. Nice park attached, and I see lots of fishing going on there.
