Bar Antidote

Had a great dinner experience at this chill, back-of-town place. Great vibe/atmosphere. Food was very good - brussel sprouts, crispy fish and chips, maple bread pudding for dessert. All really good. Low-ish alcohol (5.0%) IPA from attached Hired Hand brewing was very good. Recommend this place. Looking forward to going back.

Currently living local. First time here and it was wonderful! Quaint atmosphere our server was polite and funny. Had the veggie burger and it was one of the best house made patty's I've ever had and paired well with some of the local brews

Vergennes has a great restaurant scene and Antidote is no exception. Varied menu and some delicious dishes. The Kimchi here is good on pretty much anything. In addition to the ramen we had some really good pistachio crusted salmon. Scrummy desserts too. The apple cheesecake was a winner.

Food, drinks, atmosphere - it was all great! My burger was a mile high and I finished it all...even after sharing the killer kim-cheese fries for an appetizer. Highly recommended, I'll be back!

Delicious food, awesome beers and cocktails, excellent service. I like sitting outside at the wrap-around bar. Great spot!

The food here is amazing! It has lots of delicious and reasonably priced dishes and the nightly chef specials rival all other fine dining establishments in Vermont. If you love chocolate plan to stay for dessert, the chocolate pie is out of this world!

Food that is locally sourced and prepared very nicely will be a treat for your palette. Expect to spend close to a $100 with one drink and desserts. But we'll worth it. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. Go and treat yourselves.

This is our go to date night restaurant and bar! The kim cheese fries and lavendar lemondrop mix drink are my personal go tos. The staff is always excellent and the live music is awesome but can be very loud as it's a smaller enclosed venue. They do a great job of using the space in the best way possible as far as acoustics go. Great food, great people, would highly recommend!

The food at Antidote is first class. Two in our party had the salmon special that night, which was truly perfectly cooked. I had the Mojo pork tacos, which was exactly what carnitas is all about. The beer they brew is also excellent.

Great little spot just off the main st.

This restaurant is the perfect when driving from Manchester to Burlington. It's closer to Burlington than to Manchester, so it's more like a 2/3rds of a stop than half. But that's ok. Do it.

Half of their menu is locally (within 13 minutes) sourced. AWESOME.

I had a Moscow Mule with candied ginger. It was decent. My boyfriend selected two beers from the beer menu, and very much enjoyed.

He went for the Pig Mac. Bacon, pork belly, porker burger, fried onions, arugula and bbq sauce. Super smokey and delicious. I had the corn dog and I'm SO glad I did! Corn dog was fantastic: great batter and great dog. The fries on the side were well salted. It came with 3 sauces...salsa verde, some mustard relish thingy, and a smokey tomato sauce. I asked for the horseradish mayo that comes with their fries normally, and that was my fav (with a close second from the mustard relish sauce).

It was dead on a Saturday at 4, but we ate in the back patio. Their servers don't come on until 5, so that was a bit annoying (we were served by the very nice bartender, but he had a lot on his plate aside from serving us).

Get dessert. I had the maple creme brûlée. DELISH.

Always excellent. Best burger, great veggie burger, fantastic fries. The atmosphere is funny and fun. Nice people, too.
