Had a wonderful birthday celebration with my sister and her husband recently. Aways a good meal and great service.

Food is amazing as always. We drive 1 hour to eat dinner here and it's worth eveelry minute of the drive.

We ate at Salt Bistro while passing through town and it was excellent! There were a lot of great options on the menu and it was hard to choose. The meatloaf and steak tips did not disappoint! I would definitely eat here again.

What an amazing experience! First and most delightfully the staff was fantastic. Briana and Carrie were patient, sociable, and attentive. Food was an absolute A+. One of the best meals my partner and I have had, and we definitely recommend, and intend to return ourselves! Cremini mushrooms in gorgonzola sauce was the star of the show!

and opened their second home to us. Extremely welcoming environment, even with them having a full house when we got there. The staff was lovely, and Libby was an absolute rockstar under pressure. When the other tables cleared out, I was able to play music, move tables, and have my father/daughter dance. It was an amazing night with those I love. 10 out of 10, we do recommend.

Salt Bistro and Vermont Catering Company provides the perfect atmosphere for soft conversations, dinner and drinks (pre-COVID) in the expanded area of the restaurant. The Chef and owner, AJ brings local JAZZ ensembles to the area and takes a break from the kitchen and come around to ensure his guests are enjoying their meals. Two of my favorites (pre-COVID) meals are the leg of lamb and the Sunday Brunch with a mimosa . For dessert, crème Brule. I love to sit and have great conversations with the staff. The food was delicious. I had the chicken Marsala and it was divine!
Even though Aaron was the solo server for about four or five tables, he did not look one bit frazzled and service was great! He was great! The raspberry swirl cheesecake was also divine!

Food was delicious. The calamari was wonderful as well as the seafood bisque. The Kentucky blueberry mule was to die for. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to go back.

We are so grateful for AJ and especially Aaron for being able to take our group of 22 with less than two hours notice. Another restaurant in town basically cancelled on us after multiple confirmations of a reservation. Salt saved the day for our family celebration. The food was great as was the service. Salt is our new go to when in town. Period.

Carrie is an amazing host and a great representative for the Salt Bistro. We had an awesome meal in a very pleasant relaxed atmosphere. The meals were very professionally plated and were delicious...loved the lamb! After working all day and traveling, this experience was a most welcome treat. So glad their place was recommended by our hotel! Kudos to Carrie and the staff who obviously work well as a team. Thank you for your hospitality.

We've dined there at least three times, and I can't wait to go again. Everything has been delicious and perfectly cooked.

Aaron & Emma deserve more than 5 stars! The experience at the salt was absolutely incredible, their expertise on fine dining and cocktails is above par. If I could recommend an experience in St. johnsbury it is with these dynamic dual.

The food was delicious, my husband and I were served in good timing, we had more than enough time to sit and talk over dinner and drinks, and we were seated a comfortavle distance away from people to make for an amazing wedding night dinner. On a side note: I don't really like seafood, but the salmon special my husband got was absolutely amazing! I could have eaten the entire thing, which is saying a lot! Definitely pricey, but certainly worth it. I would absolutely reccomend for a wonderful date night.

In some cultures, cooking for some one, or providing some one with their favorite food is a show of love. I see a lot of love at the salt bistro. I’m a regular there, my wife says I eat there to much, but I want a good steak cooked the way I like, and I like grilled salmon so I go to the salt. The owners love their place and they are always working with their employees. The employees love the place too. The sous chef knows my name and is always talking with me when I go in. He loves cooking for me.

My wife and I have now been to Salt Bistro four times and each time has been really wonderful. The chef does a marvelous job and the staff are very friendly! The meals (we've mixed it up a bit, but always do an appetizer and entrees) are delicious, complex, and presented beautifully! The prices are reasonable and the quality is amazing!

First time here....very good food and service...Servings were plentiful....prices on the high end......but well worth it!!
