Great little bookstore with just about everything you need, including giant LEGO sets. Check them out when you are in town.

Staff were amazing, and the selection of books was perfect. They always had every book the series. A little pricy for their candy but not terrible.

Such a cute bookstore. They got books, coffee, and candy. What more could you ask for? Perfect place to go and buy a gift for someone, and they offer gift cards as well!

This store quickly became one of our favorites when visiting St. Johnsbury over 20 years ago. Now that we live here, we are regulars! The staff are friendly, and very knowledgeable. It is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee and explore their selection of books, candy, toys and locally sourced products.

This was a fantastic bookstore with a great selection of books and games for all ages and fun themed sections.

Besides a good selection of books they have candy and Melissa and Doug toys. There is seating and my 9 year old loves the hot chocolate here. Mocha is what have. Love it. There is also a small play area for small children and lots of kids books.

The women working today (8/30) are so sweet kind, and patient with me & my 2 year old. It can often be stressful going places with a active 2 year old (proven as she spilt my coffee in the store) but i felt like i could enjoy my trip to the store without judgement, or stares. They were so helpful and kind, They made my day.

Great curated book selection, a must stop for the area. Also has a wonderful variety of candies as well as delicious coffee at their cafe.

I went here from out of town and I accidentally left my wallet on the counter.. The woman contacted me the next day and answered my husband's phone call right away! They shipped it to me in priority mail and I'm so grateful that they did that for me and the woman was very polite! Not to mention the hot chocolate was delicious!

Just happened upon this as we drove through. Lovely little bookshop; a comprehensive range of books inc children's. Coffee was excellent too. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Professional, friendly, and very kind. It honestly feels like you enter a store that's operated by family. The coffee is excellent as well. I recommend Boxcar to anyone that enjoys books, coffee, and very sweet ladies :)

Nice quiet welcoming space Melanie hostess awesome personable , and professional. I highly recommend this spot. A treat that temporarily takes family to a space of relaxation.

A wonderful locally owned bookstore. Great specialty candy section, and great little coffee section. Also a very friendly and knowledgable staff.

Great selection of books, and the service was outstanding. They did not have a book we were looking for, so they ordered it for us and it arrived 48 hours later.

An excellent selection of books, puzzles, games, gifts and food. A wonderful place to just hang out or grab the perfect gift for a loved one or yourself!

Great place for reading not a great selection of books that my son was into so it didn't keep his interest very long but he did like their apple cider

Some co workers of mine are always talking about this place so today while in the area I stopped by. Seriously the best frappe I have ever had. Staff is super awesome and friendly as well!
