Star Theatre

I took my friend Clair to these movies and we went to see trolls! We got a blue slushy and popcorn with real butter. We loved the comfy seats and the movie. They have good prices on tickets and goodies. If you get large soda or popcorn you get a free refill.

Been going here off and on when I don’t want to spend $15 to see a movie. Quite small theatre, but I’ve never seen it all the way full. Nice sound, bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. Good selection of snacks and drinks, sell movie posters there.

The Star is a wonderful theater. Clean with friendly staff and the lowest ticket prices around. They also serve ice cream and comfort food next door. Love this place.

Individual viewing rooms are relatively small so proximity and angle to the screens may be problematic for some, but the plush, comfortable seating more than makes up for any issues.

Great family theater! New renovations, food next door that can go into the theater. Great customer service.

I've always had good experiences at Star theater in St Johnsbury, VT. Comfy seats, good popcorn and good prices.

I saw Cocaine Bear not recently. Friendly ticket sales, amazing popcorn with REAL Cabot butter, fountain drinks, bottled beverages candy and more. They also have a cafe right next door.

This is definitely one of the best places to go in VT

I love this place! I mean what's not to like! There's awesome movies, the popcorn is buttery and light, the seats are comfy, they give out all kinds of candy and they have a variety of sodas. And the best part: The tickets aren't to pricey. It's awesome cause you can spend a minimum of 15-20 bucks when at this movie if you spend them wisely.

Nice local theater. Only thing is They really should be controlling how talkative audiences can be. I’ve left mid movie just from the amount of talking. Other than a few of those experiences I’ve had some great nights here

Great ticket prices! $5 matinees and Tuesday nights. Delicious popcorn with optional Cabot butter. You can get you free refill bucket of popcorn to go. And now attached to the Star Theater is Yummies at the Star a delicious ice cream shop serving Wilcox's made in Vermont ice cream!

Been going here for years. Good experiemces every time. Only had a bad experience over the last 20 years and it was all in the span of 2.5 months in The summer of 2021 when the A.C. wasn't functioning properly and made watching a full movie there impossible due to the high temperatures, but I 100% understand the length of time it took for the repair to happen due to how much revenue was lost from covid shutdowns and will not fault them because of that.

I loved the movie that I watched, and I will want to go again. They had excellent service, and even let me order custom popcorn. Friendly people as well! They also recently added a new eating option which I need to try out soon.

I had fun. Seen the movie "Come play".The admission price was very fair, however the small popcorn was $3.75 and wasn't the greatest but my chickens will eat it. Lol. So obviously we're in the midst of a pandemic with coronavirus going on so we were the ONLY people in the theater tonight. I personally loved it! No crowds and had the place to ourselves. The 2 staff members were friendly and very professional. The movie itself however, no thanks. Will definitely pick a R rated movie next time for a horror movie. The theater itself was very clean. The screen and sound was perfect! I recommend them and would definitely go again.👍

Cool. This place still uses real butter on their popcorn. Prices are pretty cheap for a 3 movie theater. Seats are decently comfy and spacious. Only thing about the is the lack of upward angle towards to back, meaning if someone tall sits in front of you, you'll want to move. Otherwise throughly enjoyable place with up to date movies.

Close to perfection! Friendly, helpful, great selection of candy & snacks, wonderful popcorn that's fluffy and flavorful, great selection of movies and frequent changeover to keep interest high, quality of picture and sound excellent, plus not too far from home. Great experience!! Thank-you for providing quality experience for movie-goers.

Love star theater! Yes it's a smaller theater but never huge lines or arm to arm seating with strangers. The snacks and candy are affordable at about half the cost of other theaters I've been to. The general manager Ken is awesome!! He's there helping the staff and keeping the "flow" of things going.
