Hooked Up Ale House & Raw Bar

This place was recommended by locals. We went on a Wednesday evening. They had happy hour from 3-6. We actually arrived right at 6pm. Unaware of that. But it was just fine. We enjoyed a dozen oysters for just .75c each. And then pasta with swordfish. And some good wine. Everything was great! Not only was the food and wine great. But the place was packed. And they even had live entertainment. A solo guy singing while playing guitar. Not super loud though. The volume was just right to enjoy. While at the same time conversing with ease. We'll definitely be back🙂

Really good food. Had a great time sitting and chatting with family. Environment is nice and quiet. Was able to enjoy a good lunch out without stress or struggle. Fish and Chips lunch deal is great!

Great food! Good place to watch sports with a centrally located bar with TVs. I ordered the tomato 🍲 soup and pork lettuce wraps. My friends had the halibut special and fish and chips. Service was good.

update- all their food is great but the caesar salad is one of my favorites ever. all the bartenders are super attentive, welcoming and professional.
i love coming here to watch the games and have a snack but it can get crowded by the bar. over all this is a fav spot of mine now

Food was fantastic, service great, the crowd was a mixed bag that wasn't there for football. Sunday football food and drink specials are from 2014 so you must come here for great and cheap eats as well as drinks. I will be coming back!

First time here. Vibe was kind of a mix between candle light dining sports bar. Food was on point, and bartenders were friendly! Will definitely be back.

We are new to Bethany, and was told to check this spot out. For lower slower DE this place has its act together. Great food, great service, great vibe with live music. Management and their staff are really doing a great job. Cant wait to come back.

Came here for the food but ended up getting sucked into Trivia Night. I feel like they dragged it on a bit too long but it was still fun. Food was great. Get here early since the tables fill up and don’t always turn over quickly.

As good a crab cake sandwich as I have had anywhere! My daughter had a burger and loved the smoked bacon jam! The service was better than average and I would go back again and again. Try the home made coleslaw; it’s amazingly fresh & tasty - perfectly blended.

Thursday is Wing Night! If you go 3-6:00 it's also happy hour for additional savings! Live music was GREAT! Love this place, a favorite of ours! JS

We enjoyed happy hour and got discounted prices on steam mussels, raw oysters, and fish tacos. The mussels were steamed to perfection, not one overcooked. Fish tacos were tasty. The service was friendly.

Great food and environment. Live music on Saturday night made it even better. Also the grapefruit crush was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Food was Amazing!! Had the Chesapeake Baked Oysters, CheeseSteak, Baltimore Shrimp....everything was fresh & delicious. Service was AMAZING!!! ENTERTAINMENT IAN BRYANT WAS LOTS OF FUN!!

Always our first stop when we come to Bethany Beach. We especially enjoy their happy hour with Buck a Shuck oysters. The restaurant has been remodeled since our last visit and it was beautifully done. Our server was very friendly and attentive, we have always enjoyed great service here.

I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was one of the best I've had. So crunchy and full of flavor! Waitstaff was amazing!

I stopped in yesterday and enjoyed my first softshell crab sandwich. It was absolutely delicious, very well cooked and flavorful. I just love the atmosphere in this restaurant; upscale, pristine, and a gorgeous kind of huge circular bar. There is a very large selection of craft beers on tap, which was also perfect for me. I had a delicious pilsner with a low alcohol content. I will be back.

Food was good, and so was the atmosphere. There was live music that was very enjoyable.
