Lavallette Hardware

This is a local hardware store that I have been using for 20-plus years. Their custom paint products are actually cheaper than home Depot or Lowe's and they are happy to assist.

Great place on the island to get most things you would need. Very helpful staff and prices are fair. Definitely beats a trip to Home Depot or Lowes, especially if you are vacationing.

I needed a screwdriver to put a simple little table together while on vacation. I found a little allen wrench looking thing that is a flat head and a Phillips head screwdriver in one. Now I have something I can keep in my purse so I never have to go looking for a screwdriver. I'm pretty freaking chuffed about that.

Great local hardware store that is there when you need it. It is staffed by friendly knowledgeable people. The store is fairly small, but they've got alot in inventory. This is my goto place when I need hardware quick! I shouldn't mention the two elephants in the room as they've wiped out many fine stores like this and although they might have their place ... for convenience, fairly competitive pricing and that old fashioned flavor...you can't go wrong with Lavallette Hardware.

They are eager to help if you have any questions if you're not sure what you need. I've gotten screen repair done here and just recently I stopped in to exchange the propane tank - very competitive prices.

Guys always ready to help find and work with your project!! I was going to buy a bolt cutter for a rusted lock,but the older owner ,let me borrow for an hour fabulous treatment and good feeling to Buy local!!

A neighborhood hardware store like I remember they all were before big box stores. Very friendly and helpful staff. They will great you and help you find what you need. A great place to shop at without a long drive the the box store, especially if you like to support the local businesses.

Great store, fully stocked, always someone to help the moment you step foot in the door. Great people as well..! Update, this place is still doing great. They are to go to on the island.

I love local hardware stories they are the best, dudes are super friendly want to help you and make sure you have what you need . They are there for you silly ask for help. Don't take the drive to that big corporate 🍊 place way to far..stop in say hi make friends, and get your project done right.

It never fails. You're on vacation and you need something to fix something or replace something that went missing; no fear Lavallette Hardware is here to help. I have yet to stump the staff for something I need immediately. There is a ton of stock in that little space. The staff have always been friendly and eager to help. I would hate to be one of them at inventory time. In a world of big box chain stores, it's nice to treated so personally.

By far the best small town hardware store!! Always unbelievably helpful and fully stocked. This is the place to go on the island if you need to fix something.

Convenient Little hardware store located on route 5 in lavalette has just about everything you need or funny people there to help one of the great little mom and pop stores.

Whatever you need they have it. Very well run, old fashioned store. Unfortunately a dying breed.

Great people working there. The store is as big a 4 car garage but there are like 6 people helping out all the time. Love this place.
