Stone Creek Dining - Plainfield

First time dining here. Was for a friends birthday get together. Pretty damn good. I enjoyed everything from the atmosphere to the 5 star service. Shot out to Carrie and Savanna. Top of the line!

Loved it, I ordered the white cheddar bacon cheese burger no onions well done perfect. My husband ordered BLT no avocado his was perfect amount of bacon 🥓 on it. Our waitress was amazing didn't Rush us or rushed us out. Gave us plenty of time to order and brought our food out perfect timing. Drinks we're perfect also. Dessert I had sundae brownie dessert, ice cream thick and brownies ooye and gooey and melt in your mouth yummy 🤤😋 💯 worth in going. Atmosphere amazing to. Clean restaurant. Loved it all around! The waitress gave us plenty of options also. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went here for our Anniversary. It was so peaceful and perfect. We were right in front of the fireplace in a dimly lit area. It was so nice. The service was impeccable. I ordered a Prosecco and my husband ordered a Cabernet. We ordered the rack of ribs with Brussell Sprouts braised in this delicious sauce. And I ordered the chicken Parmesan, it was crispy, which was a pleasant surprise. It was perfectly crispy. The pasta was perfectly cooked. Even the bread was delightful. We were gifted a free anniversary dessert. A carrot cake which was very lovely and delicious to share. It was a very nice evening. Thank you to Stonecreek.

Can’t go wrong with CRG! The new location didn’t disappoint and neither did the lemon blueberry martini. Our bartender was fun and engaging, food was great and the atmosphere was fun! Will definitely be back. Sorry, only took pictures of the martini! 😀

Daisy was our server. She was amazing and gave us a great service. About our food was amazing, definitely, we will be back!

The Squash Wellington was absolutely delicious. I have never tasted anything like it before. The bread pudding was also to die for!!!

Edited 10/28/2022-Our party of 5 gave it another go and food was great as usual including their NY Strip steak. Service was top notch this time.

Summer 2022
We are new residents to Plainfield. Our friends from Wisconsin are visiting and we chose this restaurant because of its broad menu choices and ambience based on the website. Our foursome was seated at 7:05pm for our 7pm reservation in a booth. Initial contact with our server was 7:45pm. The server quickly ran through the specials of the night and filled our water glasses. Said he would return for our drink orders. Throughout the 2 hour ordeal, The server disappeared for long periods. Forgot requests for water refills frequently . Our drink orders did not arrive until 8:10pm. Excuse had to do with too much inappropriate personal health information shared involving the female bar tender. Our order finally arrived served by what looked like cook staff, still no water refills.
The food was exquisite. I was skeptical of ordering a steak here but I've been on a steak streak eating out and preparing my own from local butcher shops . The NY Strip was ordered medium rare and was absolutely dead on. NY
Strip is notoriously difficult to prepare correctly and preserve some semblance of tenderness. The steak was butter/garlic/parsley slathered and was delicious. The bacon wrapped scalloped potato wedge was a unique and excellent bite. Our guests each had the pasta dish with shrimp and they raved how good it was. My partner had the meatloaf with a generous helping of three slices and decadent garlic mashed potatoes . The green beans on our dishes were excellent garlic drenched and perfectly sautéed. One of our guests requested another Miller Lite. We had to ask several times to the server and he finally brought it out toward the end of our meal. Lastly , our guest provided the server with his debit card and the bill. The server once again disappeared and it was now 8:50pm. The place had cleared out, the female bartender and three associates were yucking it up in the bar service area and other worker bees were walking around on menial tasks. The server not to be seen. I walked a distance to get the car and pulled up to the curb. Finally , our guest who paid for dinner and his wife emerged from the restaurant finally. Turned out the server was in the outdoor patio area chatting with a former employee and significant other (per the server our guest) and their dog. It was then 9pm. Our guest did not tip the under 21 server and counseled him on the very poor customer service. The server countered with we didn't know what it was like to work in the restaurant industry. We are all 60+ highly successful business people in retail, corporate and finance and this server either needs to be heavily reprimanded or fired. The food was exquisite but the service was ridiculously bad and disrespectful . Have to have great customer service to compliment the product or the experience is nullified . The journey continues for great service !

They just moved locations to the old Claddaugh Irish Pub space, by Barnes and Noble. The new location is even more beautiful than the last, and that was hard to beat! We had a party of six, and everyone’s food and drinks came out perfectly, quickly, and with good service. Of course we will be returning, as we have for years before. Cunningham Group never misses!

We have been to this new location twice now. The atmosphere is amazing, whoever they had to design the decor did a fabulous job. The service was great the second time, the only problem we had the first time is separating the appetizers and the salad and main meal was zero. I think it was a new server. The food is absolutely fantastic. Great menu, lots to choose from, and work with you on any changes you want to make. The server on both occasions were Awesome. Good wine selections, they need to add silver oak, but still good selections. Price point was great, especially for the quality of food. Large portions and great tastes. I give it an A+.

Was in the area doing some shopping and stumbled on this place because nothing else in the area seemed appetizing. I’ve never been to this place before and it makes me sad I didn’t know about it sooner lol. The whole dining experience came together wonderfully for the husband and I. I haven’t had a dining experience with cleanliness, friendliness, excellent food and great customer service in a really really long time. Rachel and her trainee were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are very reasonable for the experience and food they provide. I’m so happy I had this experience today with my husband and it’s just an experience I miss when dining out. This place was great and we will definitely be back!

Great service and amazing food! I ordered the 6oz fillet mignon with a horseradish crust and would highly recommend!

Everyone else around the table had nothing but good reviews about what they ordered which included the meatloaf, shrimp linguini, carrot cake and blueberry lemon drop drink.

Note that dessert portions were quite large so sharing is a good option if you don't have a huge sweet tooth.

On the higher nicer end of restaurants in this area for cost, quality and experience. Stone Creek consistently delivers an excellent meal and overall experience. From the pre-meal bread and oil to the solid drink selection. Top notch selections of food and quality output to the table.
Usually the only complaint we have ever experienced here is with the waitresses/servers/staff being a bit inattentive - and I really wish they would remind customers about the loyalty club card. Also I would warn against inflating the side add on salad with your meal at $6 that is getting steep for what you get. Cheddars is gonna start being a competitor if you continue the add on cost increases! A customer doesn't enjoy being surprised at the end of a meal - Yes I know the restaurant enjoys the extra inflow of the add on costs but it will start to weigh on a business as consumers begin to cut back and tighten their wallets.
We always use the app to reserve a table ahead of time - it's the right way because otherwise you'll find your self hanging and cramped waiting for a table. This restaurant is our top choice and favorite in the Plainfield area - with Charbonos being our favorite in Avon. I believe it speaks a ton to say in two different nearby towns "the Cunningham group" get our top recommendations to our friends, family and followers. They have been on our hotlist for the last 10yrs! Great job!

I typically sit at the bar...by far, Zach is the best bartender. Knows his abilities, the chefs tendencies and can help you with the best menu for you. The food has never disappointed! Put old classic country club charm in a modern setting with a great selection of main course and appetizers that you can't help but to plan your next visit.

The steaks and Mahi Mahi were delicious. The atmosphere was really nice and quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Our server, Lucy, was stellar. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.

I went here for a work holiday party and was not disappointed with the food. I ordered the chicken scallopini (from the dinner menu) It was creamy and full of flavor. It was served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. I was too busy with conversations that I forgot to take pictures of the food, but the portions were decent size. Our server was very friendly and engaging with everyone at our table. So I have not personally tried it, but my friend says that the orange miso salmon is the best salmon he has ever had. If you're looking for a nice place have a have a little bigger budget for food, I'd highly recommend Stone creek.

LOVE the decor and atmosphere of their new location! Great food and portion size! Fresh bread and oil is always good. I enjoy their pasta dishes and they have nice salads too.

This is the one nice restaurant near the airport and it sure did not disappoint. Everything was amazing. Campfire pasta had big shrimp, nice chicken and sausage. The break served had a hint of sourdough flavor and seems to be baked fresh by them along w the lovely dipping oil. Cesar salad as basic as they are the dressing was amazing and homemade croutons were great too. I had the miso salmon, the sautéed veggies were plentiful and full of flavor, the crispy rice was such a fun play on rice tryst you don’t see often and the sauce for the whole dish was just scrumptious! Very happy w our meal, not one negative.

This was a great experience and we would definitely visit this restaurant again. Ask for Lauren L. She is friendly knowledgeable and extremely nice! We will add this as a place to stop in the future. Steak was spot on and seasoned perfectly!!
