Went here for weekday brunch date and oh boy were we so thrilled to try this place finally. The croissants are out of this world perfect , really enjoyed our croissant breakfast sandwich as well as the strawberry- guava croissant. The blue matcha tea was beautiful and tasty. It was so fantastic we had to pick up two more croissants (guava, almond) and take them home with us which were both to die for.
Absolutely will be trying my best to come here again soon. Love it.

Legendary bakery!
My wife and I decided to try Leviathan, looking for a delicious breakfast on the way to the homeshow. We were very satisfied after devouring the scrumptious bits of ambrosia.
We tried a pistachio croissant, breakfast sandwich, and the biscuits and gravy. They all were extremely delicious. Along with the coffee. The service was timely and polite. The only unpleasant aspect was the crowd. It was very packed with customers. With the little seating options, we decided to get it to go. This, however, did not discourage us from future patronage. Highly recommended

Wow wow wow!! Everything is a wow! The dark chocolate Micha, out if the world delicious. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! Their croissants and milk bread unbelievably soft and light. And aptly correct name...Leviathan... the size is worth the price abd taste! Service was great and with a smile even though they were busy.

I'm pretty sure this place was built for my family. They have The best gluten free desserts I have ever had. The coffee drinks are made perfectly. The vegetarian options are better than most downtown Indy. The meat eater options are just as good.

As far as price, it's a bit high, but it's high quality, so it's worth it.

I give this place 10/5! The pastry goods choices are out of this world. I wanted to have one of everything !! I ended up getting a pistachio croissant and an egg nog latte. Delicious !!! Will be back asap to try another baked good ! The filling inside of the pistachio was so creamy and tasty wow !

As native downtown Indianapolis dwellers, this is one of our go-to breakfasts on the weekend. It is impossible to go wrong Leviathan, everything is delicious. If you can only try one thing, you have to try the croissants. The plain croissant is excellent, but they also have an everything croissant that is highly recommended, and beautiful, colorful laminated croissants with rotating flavors. You will be hard-pressed to find a better croissant in France, and for the Midwest US, this is a clear number one. The quiche is delicious and has an amazing, flaky, tender crust. There are several other lovely pastries and hand pies, and they’re all great. They have an excellent selection of café drinks beyond just very good quality, house-made coffees and lattes, including a few light alcoholic drinks that go well with a celebratory breakfast or brunch (I don’t drink myself, but friends have said that they are good). The desserts are as delicious as they are pleasing to the eye. The Basque cheesecake is highly recommended; with its burnt-top caramelized flavor, it’s not quite like any other cheesecake you’ll have. A warning, in terms of service and tables, this is a café not a restaurant, and there is no reserve seating. If you’d like to sit and work, this is a great, bustling café environment if that’s the kind of background noise that makes you productive. The lines are usually not bad the first hour or two after they open on the weekends, but if you come after that, there will be a line, and there may not be too many places to sit. The outside tables are on a very cute city corner, but it is a multi lane road with a highway right in the background, so there is some generic background urban noise from that.

We went on a busy Saturday afternoon, but my husband and infant son were able to find a table without trouble. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and efficient. We shared a sandwich that was really yum, and we each enjoyed our coffees.
Parking was a little scarce, but we managed to find a spot on the cross street off of College, just before Leviathan and connected buildings.
Looking forward to visiting again soon to grab some bread and pastries!

Very friendly staffs. Love Gillian, Justin and Jassie to name some. They are welcoming and tuned to the needs of the customers. The food quality is also great, and their croissants are the best in town. They also have a generous point system that gives $5 off of $15 when you check-in 5 times, and another discount system. Clean and great place to focus so I come here often to work and study. Open Tues-Sun, 8am-3pm.

So delicious!! Beautiful space with wonderful food!

- quiche was outstanding, possibly one of the best ones I’ve had

- poppyseed hazelnut shortbread was great, loved the pops of salt

- ham and butter on baguette took me back to Paris

- chocolate “bomb” delicious mousse and not too sweet

I can’t wait to go back and try other items.

Wonderful little bakery & coffee shop. Usually packed so it might be hard to find a seat (especially for groups). I highly recommend their quiche!

Love coming here for lunch. They have an amazing lunch menu. It’s small but thoughtfully crafted which I appreciate more than a large menu. The baked goods are just wow. Everyone’s always so nice and the latte are always delicious.

A great place to stop by for coffee or sit down for breakfast! I had the quiche, which was so soft and flavorful. The prices are quite reasonable. They also have fresh bread and the prettiest pastries!

This was our first time and I was excited to try the gluten free treats. The “Vega” travel cake was incredible - pistachio and indescribably delicious! And the cheesecake - oh my! I got the honey pistachio latte too. I’m the only GF one in my group but everyone tried my stuff and loved it. Highly recommend!

This place typically has a line out the door and it's for a reason. Everything I've ever tried (I'm local, visit often) has been satisfying and exceeds expectations. I think their food menu has recently expanded to include more brunch and lunch items and I'm sooo glad because their kitchen knows how to throw down. I recently had the breakfast sandwich for the first time and when I took my first bite I was literally blown away...10 out of 10! This is the breakfast sandwich I will be fantasizing about until I can go back to get another. I paired it with a honey pistachio latte and a cinnamon lemon braid pastry, and it was a breakfast from heaven. The line moves fast, and employees are always friendly and welcoming. I love living near you Leviathan, don't ever change!!!

Really loved this spot. I had a lovely matcha and croissant on a whim because of the stellar reviews and this place did not disappoint. Will definitely make it a regular stop!

It's always a vibe here. My bestie is a regular and I love how they greet her by name! I'll get there lol but they're always kind. I recently tried the almond croissant and it changed my life! It was so delicious 😋 I mean I bit into it, and the croissant turned into cake 😆 I'm kidding but the texture did suggest something similar and it was amazing! I would have taken pictures but I destroyed it😂🤣 I also enjoyed my pistachio latte? I think that's what it was... but just go try it out!

When we lived in Indy, we were at Leviathan at least once a week for the great pastries or wonderful lunch. We loved it so much that we wanted them to cater our small wedding lunch. It was super easy to work with Jesse and he was able to get our large take out order scheduled nearly a month out from the event. Pick up was easy, we knew exactly what it expect due to the great communication beforehand. All around one of the best bakeries in the city. Highly recommend for a Saturday morning chai, a delicious lemon-cinnamon braid, or a catered lunch.

A must visit in Indy.
Their drip coffee is round & full of flavor - the opposite of a burnt dark roast. They have additional options and unique flavored lattes as well.
They serve a variety of pastries ranging from fine detailed French desserts to comforting flaky carbs (croissants, focaccia, fresh loafs to take home etc).
If you have more room in your stomach I highly suggest trying one of their sandwiches which your pick of a more breakfast feel or lunch feel. The chef and owners know how to marry flavor and you will not be disappointed.

This place is so good. The sandwiches are amazing and the pastries are to die for. We got coffee as well and loved it. Definitely worth the trip and they were able to get us all our stuff surprisingly quickly for such a busy Saturday morning.

What a delight to have this extraordinary bakery/cafe added to the area! The inside is beautiful with their gorgeous array of pastries/desserts/baked goods welcoming you upon entry. Their selection of coffee and lattes is one of the main reasons I keep coming back for more - they even have seasonal drinks such as “momma said nog you out” and “peanut and peppermint.” They have a menu for sandwiches and soups which makes it a great spot for lunch! Parking is also made super easy with free street spots right out front or a small parking lot adjacent to the shop. Stop by and show some love to this outstanding bakery!
