Northeast Seafood Kitchen

First time visit a d we loved everything. We went early, so we had a choice between the happy hour or dinner menu and actually ended up doing a little of both, but the happy hour menu was sufficient itself and was smaller portions and prices, excellent for a light meal. The bar section quickly filled for the HH meals and drinks, but the food and service were tasty and timely. Happy Hour side was energetic, but not overly loud, and the dinner side was lower key, but patrons on both sides all seemed happy and satisfied.

First time trying this place and everything was a great experience. The drinks were great, the clam chowder was so fresh and delicious, the chicken with gravy was cooked perfect and still juicy. We come to the area for seafood and were blown away by the lobster role, a must have! The staff was so friendly with perfect weather we enjoyed the outdoor seating area. Great spot for drinks, food and a relaxing evening.

Predictably delicious with excellent service! This is a favorite dining spot whenever we visit the Delaware beaches. The food is always fresh, they adapt to special dietary needs with ease, the atmosphere is relaxed, clean and a place you want to be - dining room or bar. Service is also always attentive. We will continue to return again and again.

Love this place. Service,food and atmosphere are awesome! Kat and Charles are great! But please put surfing movies back on middle tv. Loved watching Rincon and Costa Rica! That was the cherry on the sundae for me 🏄‍♀

Clean atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating available. Got there early (5pm Mid-week). Seated immediately and greeted by a kind waitress. Started with a delicious New England Clam Chowder that was so creamy (and for the first time ever, maybe I could have done without the crumbled bacon, it was THAT good without bacon on a spoonful). Entree was a Pan Seared Halibut over whipped mashed potatoes and lemon-butter summer vegetables. Perfect light crisp on the Halibut!
One minor wish would be to have the air conditioner cooler for indoor dining. Other than that, a wonderful enjoyable meal.

Wonderful place, like all the SoDel places. Crab cakes were great! And don’t skip the Bananas Foster for dessert!

Always our first night out in Bethany! Never disappointed. Fresh seafood, great specials. Love the beet salad. The service is excellent, everytime. The fish stew is the best. The meatloaf was delicious.

Food was delicious, I got the Mahi special and my wife got the fried shrimp. Portions were giant. Big fan of the wings as well.

What a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The food is top-notch.
I mean, any restaurant in the area would have to have the chops to 1 up the competition every now and then, but Northeast does it easily.
Staff were super welcoming and friendly. We showed up, ready to wait a while at dinner time, but the front staff made sure we were seated ASAP; checking reservations and no shows to find us a table. This was much appreciated.

The service was a little harried as this was rush hour for them, but the servers were totally on point from drinks to desert and didn't miss an order or request.

The food was fantastic. Please, please bring the meatloaf back more often!!!
We also had clams and pasta, Mac and cheese,calamari, and shaved Brussel sprout salad. Everything was great, if not better than expected.

We shall return! Every chance we get.

Best dining in Ocean View. Consistently outstanding. The specials are interesting and never disappointing. Great staff and a really nice happy hour. Plenty of parking. Get there early in the summer. There will be a short wait. Worth it.
Updated 10/11/2022 Always awesome. If you guys are reading this, I bragged up the Oatmeal Pie to our party. You changed it when you brought it back. It fell flat with us. Go back to the original. The Bluefish appetizer was really nice and the Smashburger didn't disappoint. Drink and beer selection is great. Service is always impeccable.

Great service! This guy went the extra mile for us ! The kitchen messed up our order and he made sure to notified the kitchen. We got a new plate and we got taken care. Good job Dmitrik B.!

Northeast is certainly one of SoDel’s best for excellent seafood, atmosphere inside and professional service. Wine options are great and now serving beer from their brewery down the road. Always busy but worth it. Clams and fish n chips are excellent. (wish they also had key lime pie like Matt’s) Looking forward to next visit.

Really enjoyed the entire menu. We had the lobster fries, calamari, steamed clams and all were great apps. I loved the mahi fish dish and my wife really enjoyed the salmon with baked beans. And of course the Friday fish fry special was perfect for our daughter. Loved it all!

100% recommend. The food was incredible, the scenery, and staff was just as beautiful. Definitely would come back. I had the swordfish, and my mom had the blackened catfish

The restaurant was really cute! It was 4pm and it wasn’t busy. We saw they had a happy hour, so we asked for a seat on the patio. However one person of my party was on their way, we just wanted to sit down and order some drinks while we were waiting, and they refused to sit us. I can understand this during peak hours but was during a slow time I’m unsure what the rationale is. Hoping to be able to enjoy this restaurant in the future. Just make sure you’re whole party is there prior to asking for a table.

Update: I went back recently and had an amazing experience, they sat me fine while my sister was parking the car, and the food and Service was wonderful!

Oh Lord, this is my go-to place when I come to Bethany and I know I'm going to get a solid, high quality meal. Do not let the strip mall effect deter you! This chef could easily cook for a city center and draw crowds. Every single thing on the menu is scrumptious they don't disappoint. I get take-out from here at least 2x week when I'm in town. Don't bypass the Brussel sprouts they are a must.

Love love this place. Consistently solid on their food. Great drinks.. Food Favorite is the NESK chicken. Crispy and moist! Farmers bowl is good too. Fish and chips is another favorite. Love that there is a choice for outdoor and indoor seating. Good for families. Outdoor seating allows kids to ramble about. Haven't tried desserts yet because I am too full from my dinner! There are vegetarian options. Parking is shared with other businesses that are generally slower in the evening.

Great outdoor terrace and nice interiors too. Super friendly and accommodating staff and good food - although portions are big — not that that’s a bad thing!
