The Blue Crab

My family ordered the seafood feast and the fried chicken and rib feast for take out one night while at the beach. It was all so good and the crab was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed it so much we actually dined in a couple of nights later. My wife and I got mussels to start. The broth they were in the was very tasty, it even came with a couple pieces of bread to dip in and that by itself was something I could enjoy on its own as a meal lol. We also got the all you can eat meal with the snow crab legs. The first batch was slightly overcooked so we had to work a little harder for it but it was still delicious. The second round was cooked perfectly and came right out of the shells so easily. The chicken, corn, and hush puppies were also amazing! 2 of our kids got burgers and fries and they really enjoyed them and our littlest got mac and cheese which was also very good. We will definitely go back next year or at least order take out!

Our waitress, Hannah, was wonderful and so nice. Food was delicious. The chicken is so good. I love the filet mignon and then also got a single crab on the side. The drinks were great. SIL got the jambalaya and loved it. Was nice and spaced out for social distancing and for having two small children with us.

Crabs, shrimp, clams, kids pasta, hush puppies, and excellent service. This was our first visit and a great experience!

All you can eat Snow Crabs is $70 per person. It’s Delaware, so there are no tax. No time limit. Well worth it.

Great food, great service, and friendly atmosphere even for a party of one. I had AYCE steamed crab and shrimp feast which came with fried chicken, corn on the cob, and hush puppies. ~$45 which was not unreasonable. The crabs we're meaty, the shrimp easy to peel and firm, the chicken is the best fried chicken around, and the corn was tender and sweet. The service was outstanding and cheerful but not hovering or hurrying. The customer behind me claimed that his baked oysters with Romano cheese were amazing and his wife's crab cakes looked like baseballs of lump crab.

We almost did not come because of some of the reviews... so glad we did!!! Oysters were perfect... both raw and charbroiled! The bourbon crush... so good. My husband got the captains platter and loved it... the crab was amazing.... the corn... very good! I got the fisherman's stew and so much seafood... I could not finish... was very good... my only complaint is we were too full for key lime pie... service was great! Thanks so much!

The people who work here are so friendly and wonderful! We had excellent service and our food was good. We will be back, thanks!

First time with our party of 8(all adults). We all had the crab feast.
Our server Brad was outstanding. He met and surpassed all our needs. The food was delicious and the crabs were plentiful. Delightful experience was had by all. Will definitely be back.

Great experience, we had children with us and Blue Crab got us in very quickly! Our server was wonderful last night. She was a young lady from Kazakhstan and she gave us fantastic service and was on top of everything! The food came out quickly as well which was helpful since we had small children with us. This might sound weird but my husband says that the seltzer water was the crisp-est he's ever had. He's forcing me to share this. My only feedback is that there should be another vegetarian option as my husband didn't have much to choose from. Thanks for a lovely dinner!

We enjoyed food from the Blur Crab last night for the first time. We made a takeout order online. Crabs, crab cakes, and sides. Everything was very good -- and happily the order was ready for pickup when we got there. Flawless and tasty. 15 min parking out front was a huge bonus.

My Husband and I came to Bethany Beach to visit my Dad. We typically always eat at a certain place but it was closed so we looked elsewhere. We found The Blue Crab and it looked pretty good! They have a family steam pot meal which is $99 and comes with 4 jumbo crab clusters, 1 1/4 pound of jumbo shrimp, 4 andouille sausages, 4 ears of corn and red potatoes. (We ordered 2 extra clusters so we all had 2 each). The photo covers up the shrimp but there was alot! It came with cups of melted butter and cocktail sauce. It was in an aluminum pan with an aluminum lid which was great because it was 30 degrees last night and we got it togo. The walked right out to our vehicle and handed it to us. By the time we were ready to eat at home, we took the lid off and it was still so hot that you had to blow on it. Amazing. Everything was delicious. The crab legs were huge, delicious and the meat came out easy. The shrimp were huge and just as delicious. Even the corn was amazing! Red potatoes were delicious and cooked just right, and the sausage was a great touch. All three of us were so stuffed and we still had food left over. We were so impressed that we are going to stop going to our usual place and get this every time we come to Bethany to visit my Dad. Highly recommend!

Great restaurant experience! All you can eat crabs for $59, which unfortunately seems to be the going rate for those right now. Crabs were all number one jumbo males and cooked to perfection. Lesser restaurants will substitute females and number twos because they are cheaper. They came with the best hush puppies I ever had and fried chicken was pretty good as well. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others.

The menu changed slightly from the last time we were here, but it was still excellent! Lots of people around us were getting crab legs, or blue crab and they looked very good. Fried chicken is a really nice surprise- crispy skin, and very juicy! Definitely a great spot in Bethany!

A few days ago I was invited to a birthday celebration at the Blue Crab. The host and hostess great u at the door. We had a table for 8 with a waiter named Brad. The food was excellent and the crab soup was great. Brad was very attentive and we all enjoyed the place. We would definitely visit again. The parking lot is not free. You pay at a meter $3.00 an hour. Again thumbs up for Brad

Stumbled on this nice little place while we were on vaca. It was fantastic!! We loved all the food. The only thing i think they shouldnt be charging for their water. either it is plain or has carbonation in it.

My dad and sister got the crab cakes. They both said the cakes were very dense and had almost no filler, just crab meat. My mom had the cream of crab soup and she loved it. I had a shrimp po boy sub and corn on the cob. My shrimp was plump and the sause was tasty. The corn on the cob was perfect.

The best ayce crab feast anywhere. The seafood soup is not to be missed. And I've never had crab cakes more delicious.

The crab cake and coleslaw were a treat! Everything seemed prepared so the natural flavors are forward. Simple but delectable preparation! The server was friendly and efficient! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Love this place! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We were given home made potato chips and water as soon as we sat down. I ordered the mini crab cakes as an appetizer. They were amazing! Well prepared and beautiful presentation. I tasted the blue crab soup. It was creamy and very well prepared- well seasoned, delicious flavor. Had the steamed crab legs which were wonderful. Even the coffee was fabulous! Definitely a must eat!

First time eating here and it was great. Some of the best fried chicken we have had in a long time. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. The only thing they were missing was a non alcoholic beer option.
