Bethany Sea Crest

I have been a frequent customer at SEA CREST in our charming town of Bethany Beach for over 20 years ! It’ such a pleasure to shop where the clothes are stylish, fairly priced, staff is pleasant, knowledgable, and helpful. Would i give them a 5 star rating? DEFINITELY ;)

Love this store. I have bought alot of things here over the years. I just bought this picture and we love it.

We have had nothing but a good experience at this shop. We ordered custom outside furniture off season and it arrived as expected.

Lovely gift shop with wide variety of fashion wear and home decor. Always stop in here when we visit OC. Love their unique styles.

Incredibly great service. Got a gift for my mom (she walked in while I was buying it) the lovely staff took it to the back to get it gift wrapped. Amazing service.

The shop is cool and has some neat items. I found a few things that were nicely designed and appeared handcrafted. Similar to other stores, it offered clothing, personalized items and other household products that could serve as souvenirs.

My daughters and two of their friends (all minors) went in last weekend. They wanted matching items as a souvenir. The rude short-haired woman is evidently acting on par. She assumed they were going to steal merchandise, and she LOCKED THE DOOR while they were inside. She rushed to meet them at the door when they went to exit, unlocking the door after visually shaking them down. That is against fire code. Illegal, and will be reported. I’ve been coming to Bethany my entire life. This store and this woman is a stain on the community.

I was shopping with my family the afternoon of June 22. The older woman with the short hair followed us all around like we had committed a crime against her store just for walking in the door. She was rude and unwelcoming. When my one son picked up an item he was excited to purchase for his father she told him not to touch anything. We left and will definitely not be back.

If I had seen the reviews before entering I would have never come in. The short haired woman is very rude. She didn’t like the way I left the changing room and proceeded to tell me as I was purchasing some of their pricey merchandise. Chastised me and then proceeded to talk about me to other customers. Who does that? I controlled myself since we had little ones and only reason purchased my skirt is because why punish myself. Please avoid. In this economy they should be privileged if we come into their store. Oh. And it’s not my job to put thinks perfectly on a hanger. That’s your job.

I took my sister shopping here to show her something that I liked in the store and she told me they were kind of rude to her yesterday. Well today I went back with her to buy something and they were even more rude. I do not recommend shopping in this store. I will not spend my money here.

just like all the other reviews the lady with the short hair was very unwelcoming. my boyfriend and i walked in and she basically told us to get out. and proceeded to stare at the cameras the whole time we were in there, to make sure we weren’t doing anything ???? when we just came in to look around.

Horrible store, the short haired "lady" running the store is extremely rude from the moment you walk in the door. She yells at you when you enter to use her hand sanitizer. I later developed a rash on my hands after being forced to use their toxic hand sanitizer, it smelled very bad. They're probably using the sanitizer that was recalled by the FDA. This store should be shut down by the health department. Besides those issues, all their merchandise is very low quality garbage, just like their employees.

The short haired woman working at 5pm on July 17 was incredibly rude and uninviting. After seeing how she talked to another customer, I immediately left after less than 3 mins. I won’t be back !! That type of attitude is completely unnecessary!!
