My wife and I drive up here from louisville a few times a year to see shows. Whoever is in charge of booking all these metal bands, thank you so much for keeping the scene alive. Crowbar was amazing last night, as well as all the other shows we have been to. The staff are very welcoming and friendly to everyone who comes through the door.

We went there last night for Smile Empty Soul. Never been to the venue before. Must say this is one of my favorite venues in indianapolis. Very easy to get into the building, ample seating available, and the smaller building leads to intimate performances with the bands. Staff was very nice and accommodating and definitely will be coming back! Awesome venue!

A fantastic club with terrific attention to detail. In between bands, classic vinyl deep cuts are played on the turntable while movies are played on VHS with the tracking just a tad askew for effect. Cold beer, with micro brew options, great food and Rock N' Roll! Indy's best kept secret for sure. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Amazing beers on tap. Pinball in the bar. An ethical owner who has a 401K plan for his staff. Wonderful Cuban food. What more do you want?

Oh...and phenomenal live bands and great music is always blasting.

A wicked venue with their own brews and their own liquors that they make on site. Their bourbon is on point and highly recommended by this connoisseur. Their Vodka is very smooth as well. Get in there and enjoy a show and some drinks. I went in there for the first time last night and it's honestly a place I'd love to spend more time in. Great bands and great drinks.

This was a great place to see a show. The staff was super friendly. The food was actually good, and not super expensive. Definitely a good place to be.

Black Circle is absolutely my favorite music venue in Indianapolis! I love their house/techno lineups in collaboration with Progression Indy. They also offer a lot of metal and rock shows plus other fun events that I'm sure are top notch and am looking forward to attending one day.

The first time I visited I was surprised by the size - it was smaller than expected and I was unsure how it would deliver for a night of dance ahead. Well, I was totally blown away by how impressive the sound system was, and I had an amazing time. The crowd was mixed in age so I also loved not feeling like the oldest one there (I'm in my 30s). Now that I've been back a few times I crave the intimate setting, the exquisite sound, and that special Black Circle magic that spreads throughout.

The staff here is fantastic, and the prices are great. Parking is excellent, and they have the most awesome bands and events booked! Check them out!

We have been here multiple times to watch live music and we love it! The sound always sounds good, the service at the bar is great, and we love spilling outside in the warmer months. One of my favorite Indy spots.

Beer here is outstanding! Heavy in the hoppy category, but the few that aren't are so good I'm totally okay with it. Will be a regular stop for when I visit Indianapolis. Pinball machines here are also very well cared for, lots of older machines without a single thing broken!

Great place! The beer brewed by Black Circle is top notch and they tap a great selection of other local brews. They play their music on vinyl, have arcade games, pinball and great bands on select weekends. And the Cuban food from Elena Ruz on-site is really excellent!! Highly recommend!!

Awesome venue! Great tasting beer, Cuban food and friendly staff to boot! Also great place to catch some local and touring acts.

Black Circle is my very favorite venue in Indianapolis, both as a performer and as a fan, and this is for many reasons.

The atmosphere is appealing and welcoming to anyone and everyone. People who like heavy metal in particular can really find a home here, but so can anyone else. There is lots to enjoy, from awesome live bands to awesome vinyl records spinning to pinball machines lining the walls. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and they actually make an effort to get to know the regulars.

The food they serve from Elena Ruz next door is all excellent. Try some of the sandwiches and empanadas next time you are in - there is almost always a special empanada going and they are always good. Also, they now have a dedicated late-night menu to serve those eating late - this is especially helpful for the bands playing!

As a member of a local Indianapolis heavy metal band, playing shows here is always a delight. The sound is always run well, they are easy to work with, and we usually have a decent turnout here. This translates to the attendees having a good time, because there are always great bands coming who are excited to play on that stage.

Original review: New favorite metal venue in Indianapolis, both as a musician and as a fan. The stage and sound setup are nice. Great music and awesome arcade games as well. The empanadas from the Cuban kitchen are good too, though it would be nice if they served sandwiches later through the night.

The food is from next door Elena Ruz(alwsys great). They play VHS movies and vinyl. The beer is always cold. They do serve bottles too. Im a fan of this place because they always have a metal show going on. The staff is always friendly. And they will let you sample stuff from the tap. They also do have bottles of miller light, miller high life and a few others.

The food is awesome! Elena Ruz has a peanutbutter and Guava sandwich that i normally get. The cubano is really good. Desserts are all great. The flan has coconut on top. The combination is perfect.

Definately my local Indy fave when it comes to hangouts with friends. Dead Ed Thursday's is one of my favorite events here. If you love cheesy horror, I recommend you check this out!

Bring your quarters, because there's pinball.
The beer is good, and they have decent rotating taps. Also, don't forget to get some food from the best dang Cuban place in Indianapolis next door, which you can order at the bar :D

Old school decor. Vinyl records and VHS tape playing, the city’s very best pinball machines, for sure. Sound guy Paul, and the barkeep are coolazz people, and the place is plastered with all sorts of stickers, I love stickers. They serve beer and wine only.
