Vergennes City Park

Was passing through and stopped to take a break while my daughter shopped. Cool little park that pays tribute to a hero of the War of 1812.

A variety of events all year long...Band concerts all summer on Monday evenings, Strawberry Festival, Farmers Market every Thursday from 3p-6p and Pumpkins in the Park just to name a few. Stop and walk through the park as well as take a picture of yourself in the Greetings from Vermont sign!

Super cute little town square. Great farmer's markets in warm months. Beautiful Christmas light and decor in the cold. The gazebo is beautiful year round. Cool monument with town history and info stand for maps, things to do and etc. Even has an organic grape vine and free WiFi. Doesn't get much better than that!

I may be biased but I love this little park right in the center of town. Nice level shady lawn for sitting out on and people watching, close to shops and ice cream, tourist booth, and bandstand, surrounded on 4 sides by quaint vergennes architecture. Events like farmer's markets and food trucks are missed while we're social distancing.

Sweet spot, with lots of benches and even a water fountain for dogs. Charm galore with lots of upscale shopping if u have the money. Also, second hand shops for less affluent. Free Wi-Fi as well, gazebo etc and plugs every few yards.

A great place to take your best girl for a walk, or to sit back and watch the little ones run and play and during. The summer starts with a strawberry festival and the beginning of band concert season true enjoyment!!

Quaint little area on Main St. in Vergennes. In the summer there a Farmer's Markets here (Thursday evenings). They sometimes also have bands playing!

We stopped in Vergennes and enjoyed a picnic lunch in Vergennes City Park. Lovely park with benches, a gazebo, shade trees.

Very nice park in the middle of town. Plenty of free parking and Wifi access too.

Made me appriaciate the men and woman who died just to make Vermont what it is. It takes us all to run a good ship.

Great spot to relax while waiting for the bus, drink coffee, chat....
