Talley Day Park is a lovely place. Where else can you find a library, playground, dog walk, and walking paths all in one place. The dog area is even split into large and small dog areas. Plus the picnic tables make this a great place to spend some family outdoor time. Plus there is a nearby pond with ducks to visit.

Great park for kids of all ages!
The park is right by the library and various sport fields along with basketball court.
The playground is nice as it has an area for various ages. The walking path around the park is not too long and not too short either. The benches around the playground are nice as it is usually in a shaded area. They also have plenty of picnic tables around.
Also a dog park here as well!

Nice park. Playground, dog park and trails. This park is located in a nice area and has plenty of parking. The trail is a nice little walk and suitable for all ages.

Had a grand ole time socializing my companion and sharing best practices with owners and getting to know some regulars.

I do wish there were playground equipment for them as well. Especially the smaller ones. XO

We enjoyed our day at Talley Day Park.

Very nice walking trail, a good portion of it shaded. Clean, quiet and not crowded. My kids loved seeing a deer, turtles and fish in the pond.

My dog loves this dog park. The dog owners are super nice. 2 areas available one for small dogs and another for big dogs.

I use Talley Day Park for the dog park located there.

I have noticed a lot of regulars who are attentive and respectful with all dogs present.

The dog park by Garnet Valley High School is much closer to me, but I have stopped going there entirely after witnessing inconsistent dog owner culture... Less corrections, rudeness between owners, judgments over breeds, etc.

This is less the case at Talley. Owners are friendly and often familiar with one another. The same faces show up and the dogs get to know each other.

This place is excellent for its community.

The only downside is that the side for large dogs is all wood chips. Not the end of the world, as grass does get torn up and turn into mud, but I still wish my boy wasn't running around JUST on woodchips.

Lots of trees and cool breeze. Be careful on the metal slides if it is sunny, they can burn children and adults

Enjoyed our walk at Talley Day Park. Stopped at the pond to watch the beavers, listen to the bullfrogs, and watch the bats flying overhead. Also spotted a young heron in a tree waiting for us to leave. A lovely evening walk.

Geocaching at the park. Check out dog park and start to acclimate the dog to doggie park and smells. Great walking trail and busy playground since the weather was so nice the other day.

Huge park with multiple agree range play sets. Lots of room to run and dry back from the road so it's not a safety hazard. Right next to the library, which is nice. Several paved walking paths run through the woods around it. Lots of trees. Basketball courts and did parks close but not too close. Very nice place to play

The park is a wonderful place to celebrate everyone and everything. From the 2 doggie parks, the walking trails, the playing fields and easy access to a great public library. Take your family and use the picnic area to enjoy all things cookout!

Honestly, this is my favorites place to go. It's got something to offer everyone, from the kids park, dog park, nature walk, and plenty of grass to enjoy a picnic etc. Also, ample parking.... And it's right next to the library. Our first time here, we picked up a Bobby from Caps and just enjoyed a lil family picnic in the field, without feeling crowded or too close to others. Again,my favorite.

Great park located in North Wilmington by the library. The park has play equipment, a decent walking trail, access to the library, soccer fields,an enclosed dog park and a little wilderness area. Great place to stop.

Great for walking as has large figure 8 that traverses the entire park. Right next to Brandywine HS and one of the larger libraries of New Castle County. Plenty of wildlife as foxes, squirrels, and rabbits abound as well as many bird species. The pond is full of carp, varieties of turtles, and occasionally waterfowl such as heron, snow geese, and egrets stop by.

Tennis court with pickleball lines.
Lots of intense pickup basketball.
Approx. Half mile walking path with view of beaver pond frequented by herons and geese, and home to goldfish and turtles.

Nice walking trails and very pet friendly. Great dog runs.
Only problem is some people do not follow the dog park rules and mix small dogs with the big and get upset when they get trampled. People should supervise their animals instead of being on the phone or acting like this is a social club.

Great playground in the shade, lively basketball courts, tennis, dog run, and walking paths. Rad park right next to the library. Ome time I saw someone fall into the pond...don't do that, the water looks a bit grody.

This is a lovely little park with a playground, soccer and baseball fields and basketball courts. There are also a couple of tennis courts, picnic pavilions, walking trails and fenced bark parks. Talley is a wonderful place for families. Please observe the speed limits...you just can't know when a child or dog might cross your path!
