Friendly, good vibes, and great Vinyl selection that is constantly refreshed. Good rare selections and constant updated used selections. There's a reason they've been around so long. Their store labeled clothing items are also really good quality.

Such a treasure trove in a cozy space that is full of beautiful music. Attendant was so knowledgeable and shared great musical insights. Please check it out when in Newburyport!

With their not being too many truly independent stores left in MA (Newbury comics doesn’t count), this is a gem. Good mix of new stuff and classic stuff. Not too pricey. Loved getting a random 45 thrown in when checking out. Definitely recommend this spot and hope they’re able to stick around!!

really cool place! the way the store is set up is very aesthetically pleasing, and they have tons of records to choose from! they also have guitar strings which is wonderful. the gentleman who was working behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable

Great vinyl/cd shop but put the emphasis on vinyl. Very interesting and broad selection - from the 60s forward. A fun shop to visit and hang out. The owner and staff are great (NEW OWNER for those who’ve read the older reviews). They are music lovers and musicians and they know their stuff. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Wonderful little record store with a great collection of new and loved vinyl. The kind of place where you're bound to find a treasure item to take home with you. Spend some time in here and chat with the folks running the store. They're friendly and will help guide your hunting.

Very neat place! I stopped in for the first time today, and I was very satisfied with my visit! They have great service, selection, and quality! I noticed some of the prices seemed a bit high, but when you want great records in great condition, you've got to be prepared to pay appropriately. All around a great visit, and I would recommend coming over!

Dyno Records is a real vintage record store, and I don't mean that they have just "vintage" or second-hand merchandise, although they do have those things along with new releases. It's vintage in the sense that it's not huge, impersonal and overwhelming like the big box stores are. When I was in there before Christmas, the place was bustling. The clerk was taking special orders, helping people find things, and making recommendations. I liked the selection that was available and the atmosphere in the store, and I walked out of there with two CDs as presents, feeling relaxed and accomplished -- Christmas shopping had actually been enjoyable! It's hard to find a store like this nowadays, and It'll be a sad day if small record stores like this ever disappear completely.

Small music store with a surprisingly big collection of vinyl and CDs, both new and used. Staffed by musicians and music lovers. Strong collections of jazz, blues, gospel, reggae, international music as well popular. A great place to browse.

They have a GREAT selection. I actually found a lesser known record here I had been looking for a long time and they were asking a very reasonable price. The man at the counter was very accommodating and knowledgeable. They are definitely worth a visit!

Excellent shop. Friendly owner. Pricing is no worse than any other shop or online. Their discount section has real gems in it and their contemporary selection is solid.
