Great little place to grab a quick bite to eat. Casual, and friendly atmosphere and the staff is great too. Quick and friendly service with a great meal.

4.9 rating on google maps. I was expecting the 4.9 to be an inflated rating by The Garrison Apartments residents that regularly visit the Garrison deli. I am very happy to say this is a good little spot. It was early so I got a Scrapple, egg and cheese sandwich. Two eggs and a good amount of scrapple. I like that they slice the scrapple thin and then double stack it on the sandwich. The Scrapple adds a lot of crispiness to the sandwich. It was a one man show the day I went. He may not be the fastest but he does a very good job and the regulars seem to like him. I almost forgot $5.99. You know I like that.

We are in the area for a two-day sporting event and were looking for somewhere to pick up some sandwiches. After reading local reviews we decided to visit Garrison Deli. This place did not disappoint. We ordered two sandwiches, potato salad and drinks, altogether about $30. The cold cuts were sliced to order and sandwiches made fresh. The roast beef club was stacked high and was tasty. The Italian sub had crispy shredded lettuce, tomatoes and thinly sliced onions - absolutely fantastic. See pictures below. Would highly recommend to anyone driving by and will come back again when in Delaware!

Fabulous deli. We were warmly greeted when we arrived. Great selection of sandwiches. We ordered a cheesesteak and a turkey sandwich. They weee both great! The cheesesteak had a ton of meat on it. I got it with fried onions and mushrooms. It was divine. Highly recommend this deli!!

Fast and friendly. Very big sandwich, if not overstuffed. Had to remove the slice of meat on top and the lettce/onion inside so I could fit it in my mouth.

I think the bread is store-bought, but it is decent quality.

My First time in a deli restaurant and boom ! Nice satisfying meal . I went for turkey club sandwich and dined in. Sandwich came with chips and pickle on the side . Taste was clean and balanced. I really enjoyed it . I will come again . Service was also good . The person making sandwiches is very nice and amicable .

Tried the roast beef sub and loved it! Bread is always fresh and the customer service is always great! Very nice people. Only thing I had to get use to was the peppers. I'm usually a crushed red pepper or banna pepper lover but they use jalapeño peppers instead and the pickles are a bit tasteless because they're see through thin so beware if you're a pickle lover which I am not. But overall the subs are great. They also make a tasty corned beef special!

Awesome first visit. Because it’s in a apartment complex I kept bypassing because of not knowing where to park for the public. When I went in he was kind assuring me on the parking. The quality just as good. Look forward to trying more of the menu! Roll was fresh and turkey sliced right then and of good quality. The meat to roll ratio was perfect, not much and not to little

The owners are wonderful people. Service always on point deli and restroom always clean... I HAVE ONLY ORDERED A HOT CORNED BEEF ON RYE WITH RUSSIAN DRESSING AND COLESLAW AND IT IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS

Visiting from Toronto and decided to stop by here in the hopes to get something that was not greasy. I wasn't disappointed.

Stopped by for breakfast. What a great place! Very clean and well organized deli. Ordered a Scrapple Egg and Cheese with Bacon. Outstanding sandwich. The owner came in while I was waiting for my food, very kind and friendly, we talked about how business was and I learned that the Garrison is full. Spread the word, this is a great place for quick service, friendly staff and good eats!

The lobby is clean and this is probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. When somewhere has no bad reviews I’m sometimes a bit hesitant but I’m glad I came. Amazing portions for even better prices.

One of the best Italian Subs I’ve ever had. Made a weekend trip down from NY and this place is Top Notch. Everything is big portions, owner is very personable and engaging. I will definitely be back. I wish Garrisons Deli the best of luck.

Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and awesome portions!! Went in today for my first time to get a breakfast sandwich and the owner made too much of my omelette and gave me a whole other extra sandwich! I can’t say this will happen every time, but the fact this owner shared this with me instead of keeping it for himself or his staff says a lot! Waiting for another shop down the road to open (Iononis) I looked up best subs nearby and Garrison Deli came up. Just wow. Super friendly staff. Very clean shop. And sub was super fresh tasting and delicious! Great price too! If you are planning to go Capriottis or Iononis, both 2 miles away. Stop! And go to Garrison's. You won't be disappointed!!

Have been to a gem of a deli 7 times already and I will tell you they have not disappointed anyone in my family!! Everything is so fresh, the staff is so friendly. The subs have meat that is cut to order. The cheese steaks are the tastes I have ever eaten. Their tuna is great and their corn beef sandwiches are awesome. If I was a food critic I wood be hard pressed to anything wrong with this place. Just a awesome deli!!!!

My twin brother and I stopped at Garrison Deli today and purchased a corn beef special and a turkey hoagie. I have been there several time with my wife we love the food. Previously corn beef special wasn't on the menu and someone told the owner about it and as a great business owner who services his community he listened and shortly after that it was on the menu. For someone who didn't know what it was he got it right the first time and it was delicious. This is the go to place in Delaware for sandwiches I highly recommend Garrison Deli. The food is great and the service is top notch.

If your are looking for an excellent catering service, than look no further! Garrison Deli is your spot! Back story: I stumbled upon their business by reading reviews. Our company is from NY so I was in need of catering services for breakfast and lunch. I called and the owner was so pleasant and very easy to work with. Everything arrived on time and the food was delicious. We went with breakfast sandwiches and coffee! Lunch, we had an assortment of sandwiches. Needless to say, we just went back to DE for another event and I immediately contacted Garrison Deli!

The food is delicious, everyone I fed was full & happy!! The owner is great and I will be calling him in the fall when we are back!
