This spot is such a gem. Been going here for over 5 years, the food is always incredible, and the service is wonderful. They are so friendly and helpful and just the FOOD! Oh man.
The sweet and spicy fried chicken is to die for, decadent and perfectly crispy every time. The banchan is delightful, the tea is wonderful, the egg drop soup is wildly amazing.
Highly recommend!

This place is a hidden gem of the main road. Drive slow when getting close, or you will miss the turn into the restaurant. The parking lot is small. It is a very authentic Korean food but a little pricey. However, they gave a big portion to offset the price. All the dishes are very good. Highly recommended.

This little restaurant in a tiny Massachusetts town is not one to miss. Incredible, authentic dishes with an abundance of tasty sides to boot. Worth the hour-long drive. We’ll be coming back regularly!

It is as authentic as it gets. And I have been to Korea multiple times. The kimchi bursts with flavor. I am going back for more! Huge portions and the service is great.

Driving back from a hike. I have heard good things about this place. It did not disappoint. The side dishes were excellent and the Korean food overall was incredibly tasty, best Korean food I have had in the Boston area.

A true Korean restaurant--bountiful sides free of charge, great dishes, hot tea.

Expensive in 2023, but you won't leave hungry.

Best Korean food in the area. A bit pricier than your typical Korean spot, but definitely worth it — the dishes are simply done right, with simple but rich flavors and textures. Very generous portions, and food comes with a full set of very good banchan.

This was my first time trying Korean food.
Despite its unassuming appearance, this small restaurant blew my taste buds. Delicious food! I will totally recommend stopping here if you are nearby or out this way.

I got the fried noodles and they were delicious! I had to take some home and was able to have the rest for a second meal. Everything tasted fresh, and I didn't feel badly afterward like eating some Chinese food (I know this is Koren, but I digress.) Very quality food here.

One of our favorite spots! The food is great every single time. The kimchi vegetables are a great way to start the meal. Our favorites include the kimchi pa Jun, bi bim bap and ja ja myun. Highly recommend!

We love Woo Jung!! Awesome house made kimchi and dishes that never disappoint. Try their scallion or kimchi pancakes, they seem expensive, but very large portions and excellent, especially when fresh, although we never hesitate to order for take out and reheat as desired. Thank you Woo Jung!!!

Visit #2 - just as delicious as the first time. Got the bibimbap (again), this time it didn't come in an earthenware bowl so no crispy rice 😔. But it was still amazing. And the sides it comes with (several different kimchis and bean sprouts) were so so good. I cannot rave enough about this place! I wish I lived closer.

I was astonished by this unassuming little restaurant by the road. Delicious tea and banchan followed by amazing entrees. The chicken, beef, and fried rice were all amazing. I will definitely be stopping here again next time I'm out this way. Definitely worth a detour.

In recent years, Ayer has enjoyed quite a bit of economic growth, which has brought in a variety of new businesses, restaurants, etc. However, before that, Ayer only seemed to have one truly great restaurant: Woo Jung. Woo Jung, like all great restaurants, is rather unassuming from the outside, is tucked away from the downtown area, and could be very easy to miss. That being said, Woo Jung is probably the only spot around for authentic Korean food, and they do it right.

Every meal comes with a variety of house made fermented items (kimchi, cucumber, radish), and a trip to Woo Jung is worth it for these alone. I have tried a variety of items at both lunch and dinner and have enjoyed them all. The bulgogi and bibimbap are personal favorites of mine. I have to confess that I was late in discovering this place after years of living in Ayer, but I am very glad that I have.

I've been coming here since 2000, and wherever I'm in the area I find myself coming back. Best Korean food I've ever had, worth the trip and every penny. Try the bulgogi, you won't be disappointed. Try it all! It's delicious. Go there!!
