Tara is very knowledgeable and empathic. She takes her time to listen to my concerns. I will continue to go to her for my yearly check ups.

Do not go to Tara coyle. Her title says nurse practitioner, but she’s literally knowledgeable at nothing. She knows nothing about diabetes, she does not know how to treat her patients, she allows her MAs to do all the talking for her, she won’t prescribe you the medication you need, because she’s afraid to treat people. And she just wants to make money by charging you office visits and making you come in every time you have a question about something. I was in stroke range from my diabetes, and she made me wait four months to get into an endocrinologist of HER choice instead of the one I asked her to refer me to that I could’ve gotten into within a week. I could have had a stroke or worse because my numbers were so high. She even told me I was headed for a stroke, and that I was in a danger zone and needed to be on insulin immediately, but yet prescribed me insulin that had latex in it and I am allergic to latex. And then whenever I called her about it and the pharmacist called her about it she got scared and wouldn’t prescribe me any insulin and said I needed to go see the endocrinologist that I waited four months for. so in that four months my sugars were over 300 and 400 every day and she allowed me to wait because she doesn’t know how to do her job. Then my endocrinologist said that Tara needed to prescribe my nausea medication, and Tara refused to do that as well. She is useless 100% useless. She might be able to remove a wart or give you some hydrocortisone for a rash, but she sure does not know how to handle anyone with a serious illness. Her MA Ashley is a condescending icky person who will argue and argue and argue with you without giving you a solution for anything. Tara herself will not get back to you. She puts her MA up to doing it you never get to speak to Tara unless you’re willing to pay for another office visit and take time away from work to be able to sit with her face-to-face just to get a simple non-narcotic nausea medication. The office manager there is also horribly incompetent and does not care about patient care because they allow tara to (and I say this sarcastically ) “TREAT”patients when she doesn’t know anything about medicine. They are all about wasting your time and charging you for office visits nonstop just to try to get simple refills. Tara, Ashley and chase should not have any dealings with patients. They are all incompetent. Needless to say I left the practice and now I have to wait another four months to get into a new family doctor.

You go to Tara thinking she will help you with your health issues. I waited for an appointment to see her, when I finally got there she told me I was in stroke #'s for my blood sugar being SO HIGH and needed treatment ASAP as I was in danger. She then prescribed an insulin that had latex..I AM LATEX ALLERGIC.. I called the office and told them, as well as the pharmacist telling them. EVEN AFTER THAT, she did not even try to send a new insulin, she just said she was not comfortable treating me due to my diabetic issues (she is a provider who is scared/does not know how to treat).. She then said I needed to see an Endo. I gave them the name of the endo I wanted to see and she refused to send a referral to them saying it had to be within Baptist. I WAITED 4 MONTHS FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH THEIR ENDO after she said I was heading for a stroke due to my sugar being in the 400 - 500 range when I test.. I could have been seen within a week with the Endo I asked for a referral for. THERE IS NO URGENCY.... NOW, I need a nausea medication...NOTHING NARCOTIC just nausea meds and she AGAIN would not prescribe me the simplest medications. She said I was NON-COMPLIANT because I will not take off work every time I need a simple med refill. She is USELESS as a provider. DO NOT GO TO HER!!!! Also the Office Manager is no help as he could not care less either about patient care. They are $$$$ hungry ..You have to lose $ because you have to take off work every time for simple med refills. It is all about that OV being billed to your insurance nothing more. They don't care or know how to treat diabetic patients. STAY CLEAR OF TARA COYLE AND HER CONDESENDING MA Ashley..
