I was seen right on time. The radiology team were friendly and professional. Dr. Galinat remembered me from several years ago! He asked direct questions, discussed the options for my shoulder pain and provided detailed instructions for my follow up care, if it was needed. Great experience! I’ve seen three physicians in this practice over the years and I am always pleased with the outcome.

The Staff were very polite, prompt and I felt the Doctor was seeking the best treatment for me. The Assistant made me feel a lot less nervous.

I injured my shoulder over a year ago. I wish I would not have waited to see Dr Galinat. I feel so much better after surgery. It was a tough recovery because I waited so long but he did a great job. I have visited Dr. Galinat for a shoulder problem, diagnosed as rotator cuff tear. I have been very pleased working with him through several steps - trying PT first and then deciding to go ahead with surgery. I feel he and his team did an excellent job and three months after surgery I feel good about my progress and the help and advice Dr. Galinat has provided. From my first appointment with Dr. Galinat I was impressed by him. He explained the problem with my shoulder in detail, but in terms I could understand. He took the time to answer all my questions, again in detail and in terms I could understand. Dr.Galinat is very likable with a sense of humor. Maybe because we share a love a golf, but I found him very easy to talk to. After my surgery, Dr.Galinat was obviously concerned with my rehabilitation. He made sure I didn't overdo my exercises and didn't rush my recovery. Even though he knew I wanted to play golf again as soon as possible, he didn't let me until my shoulder was ready. Dr. Galnat's team is just as friendly and helpful as he is. Morgan Townsend is very knowledgeable about the process of preparing for, undergoing and recovering from shoulder surgery. Morgan always responded quickly when I emailed her my questions and concerns. She also explained the reasons why Dr. Galinat recommended the exercises he did for my recovery. Robert Biddle, PA, is also very knowledgeable about surgical procedures and took the time to explain them to me in detail and answer all my questions prior to surgery. I would recommend Dr. Galinat and his team to anyone who is experiencing any kind of shoulder problems. I had a massive tear in my rotator cuff. Dr.Galinat surgically repaired that tear and guided me through my rehabilitation. I am back playing golf again. That would not have been possible without Dr. Galinat, Morgan Townsend and Robert Biddle.

My experience with Dr. Galinat and his staff has been exceptional. I had a Right Total Shoulder Arthroplasty as an out patient in Wilminton Hospital. The entire encounter from my pre operative exams to the procedure in the hospital to my recovery and post op has been beyond excellent. You are completely informed from the beginning of what will take place and are given instruction and shown your therapy to enable a complete and safe recovery. Everyone in his office has shown to be knowledgeable, very professional and extremely patient no matter how many times you ask the same question.

We have always had a great experience with Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists. The staff are professional and friendly. Various members of Our family have been patients with Dr Galinat and other physicians in this practice for many years. We refer other friends and family to this group as well. The physicians are all wonderful. They are top notch!

Referred by both my PCP and a friend, Dr. Galinat proved to be the right choice for my recent hemiarthroplasty. He is respectful and friendly, and carefully and considerately explained my options for shoulder surgery. Together, we made the decision. On my first visit to Dr Galinet he said “We will take good care of you” and they did in SPADES. I had heard horror stories about how awful shoulder replacement was and don’t mind saying I was hesitant. My left shoulder was replaced May 30th and my right on September 25th. From Pre- op to Post-op to Robert my PT coach to Morgan who always answered my calls promptly I say thank you! My recovery both times has been easier than I anticipated , i’m pain free and feel like a new person at 81. Lastly my advice to all who need shoulder surgery do not hesitate to go to Dr Galinet and his team. “They will take good care of you”

Dr. Galinat is known for his expertise in shoulder ailments. I sought treatment for a frozen shoulder. The office staff was professional and efficient. Dr. Galinat did an excellent job of diagnosing my problem and explaining the necessary treatment I am happy to give him my highest recommendation
