Serenity Health - Ketamine and TMS Therapy Provider Louisville

My experience has been great at Serenity Health. First of all, the spravato treatments have greatly improved my symptoms. Also, the staff are so friendly and inviting when you come in. I have to go at night for my treatments due to my work schedule. Ally and Mandy are such great providers. They are willing to listen and are very understanding of what you may be going through. Both of these wonderful ladies have an awesome bedside manner. The staff at Serenity have come to feel like family to me at this point. I would highly recommend using them for your treatments. You won’t regret it!

I look forward to resuming my treatments at Serenity where patient care and safety is a top priority. I wish I had never left but the opportunity to try a facility much closer to home was in my mind worth a try but in the long run it just wasn’t going to work. I especially look forward to resuming my treatments with Serenity in their new facility.

I started treatments back in December 2022. This place has given me something life changing. My treatment resistant depression has been lifted. I also go to therapy with Alison and she is the most amazing therapist I have ever gone to. The front desk staff is friendly and very helpful
All of the nurse practitioners I have seen are very easy to talk to and make the whole experience calming. The treatments and therapy combined has helped me more in 6 momths than anything has even come close to helping in the past 25 years. I can't be grateful enough! This was my first visit at Serenity Health, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The environment is very comfortable and beautifully designed. The front staff were courteous and friendly and offered refreshments while I waited for the Dr. My visit with the Dr. was equally as wonderful as she made me feel safe talking to her about my circumstances. Also, I would like to mention how amazing it was that my Dr. was with me from the physical to exit. I’m so used to drs seeing patients and rushing us to the medical assistant and that was not the case here! Thank you all for the hospitality in a healthcare setting, and I recommend anyone who is considering this type of therapy to come here!!! They’re awesome!

The caliber of care and service I have received as a patient of Serenity Health has been a literal lifesaver for me. They truly are concerned about your health and well-being: when my first chosen treatment option was not producing the results I needed, they pivoted along with me to a different plan of action which has yielded an amazing, life-altering outcome. Not once was I ever made to feel as if I was a failure or an inconvenience - not once did they ever give up on me. I’m so very eternally grateful to the entire staff at Serenity Health and would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need.

Everyone here is really kind and very very good with mental health. The appointments are timely and the environment is relaxing, safe and comfortable. This practice is especially good for people like me who have social anxieties and other mental health issues. They help you feel really safe and comfortable.

My journey truly is their mission at Serenity Health. They meet me where I am at, and I feel no judgment. There are high standards in place for their practice, and safety measures and monitoring are always at the forefront of what they do. All the staff help make it a comfortable experience in whatever way they can. The ambiance is always soothing and it has become my happy place. Kit, BethAnn, Michael, Gigi, and Nicole work well together and make you wish they were a part of your own family. I still have my ups and downs, and Kit always has a game plan. I feel so blessed to have this service and THIS team in my life.

I absolutely love this place! After months of studying the Esketamine treatment, I took the first steps in calling and I am so happy that I did! I have seen an improvement in my depression that I have never seen before, even with all the antidepressants that I am on. I was walked through the process 1000%, from what to expect to what the process was. The staff are the most amazing people I have ever met in my life! Nicole, Katie, and Thelma are simply amazing women and understand what I go through. Very non-judgemental and I feel so comfortable with them. They know my car as soon as I pull in the lot and know myself and husband by first name!!! If I could give 20 stars I would! If you are struggling with depression, please call and talk to them! I cannot say enough good things about them and the work they do. I am simply thankful they are there and I don't feel judged or shamed for wanting to get better! They work as a team to make sure I am comfortable and looked after. I feel as though they take care of me as if I were family to them.

I know that God led me to Serenity Health. I have struggled with depression from the loss of our 19 year old son for 19 years. They have been so kind and the treatments have made a huge difference in my life. My family has noticed. I feel so safe when I am receiving an infusion. They're extremely professional and caring. I am so very thankful that I was led to Serenity.

Talk about a great therapeutic atmosphere to be in! They work well with everyone’s individual needs. Very LGBT+ friendly as well. If you need anything during your treatment you just press the button right next to you and assistance is there in seconds! Every single staff member is amazing. Absolutely NO complaints whatsoever.

I have been struggling with anxiety the majority of my adult life. Depression here and there. Tried several medications. In September of 2020, I was rushed to the emergency room due to a perforated bowel. I was already in septic shock upon arrival. I had to have emergency life saving surgery. This event took the anxiety and depression to a whole new level. I couldn’t leave the house, crying non stop and just all around couldn’t function well.
I began treatment with Serenity Health in mid November 2020 and I am here to tell you I have began to feel like the “old” me again. My depression medication is working at half the dose! The PTSD has eased and I’m not scared to leave home anymore! I’m back to enjoying the small blessings I have in my life!
I cannot recommend Serenity Health enough! They have helped me become me again! The entire staff are the most professional, sweetest and caring! I feel truly cared for and like I’m the only patient, even though I know they stay busy! The office is warm and inviting! It’s very relaxing and extremely therapeutic! The love and compassion they share for their patients is amazing! Words can’t describe the gratitude I have for them for helping me get my life back!

Good atmosphere and people. Brittany Martin is the best! Had my 1st session with Allison today, she was great!

My daughter is a patient here. The anesthesiologist provides top-notch professional care. He explains everything thoroughly. The nursing staff cares for each patient’s needs as if they’re the only one needing attention. The atmosphere is meticulously clean as well as relaxing. We’re optimistic about a good outcome.

I am nearly 60 and my depression has been lifelong. With Ketamine treatment and Serenity’s attentive support, I have been able to return to a pretty normal life for the past year and a half. My gratitude to them is immense.
In the past, antidepressants have worked to a lesser degree. I still take them. While Ketamine is not a miracle drug, for me it sure is close. It may not work for everyone. I still have dips in mood, but no string of grinding despair for weeks or months.
A few details: Ketamine can be administered either by nasal spray or IV. I tried the nasal spray which my insurance covered. However, it did not lift my depression as well as IV. I am lucky because with some adjustments to my finances, I can afford the IV approach without insurance.
My sessions take place in a private room and last about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. I sit in a reclining chair and listen to jazz or classical music. My BP, heart rate, etc. are monitored. Sometimes I meditate on a particular issue. Sometimes I fall asleep. While I feel ‘spacey’ and ‘loopy’, I’ve never felt out of control.
To a person, the individuals at Serenity Health are welcoming and professional. I know almost all of them by name — Nicole, BethAnn, Gigi, Michael, Thelma, Spencer—I am especially grateful to Kit, who administered my treatments. He is up to date on research, nonjudgmental, and has a naturally reassuring manner.
I wish I had come sooner. Thank you all.

I have been going to Serenity Health for a while now, and could not be more impressed with everyone there. They make you feel welcomed and like family from the moment you walk through the door!
