We are forever grateful for the expertise and hospitality of Heitzman Traditional Bakery and Deli. Thank you for hosting our loved one’s memorial service. The cake was both beautiful and delicious.

From ordering my son's 16th birthday cake to pick up, every person I interacted with at Heitzman's was professional, friendly and more than helpful! The cake was beautiful, delicious and more than we could eat! Truly a great experience, highly recommend!

We needed a last minute birthday cake my son! He’s a wrestling fan and they were able to get one made in 2 days! The cake looked phenomenal and tasted great. I was greeted by friendly staff as well. Great place, will definitely be back 😊

We brought our children to Heitzman's today for donuts and ended getting a wide assortment of donuts, cinnamon rolls, sweet bread, danishes, and pretzels. Everything was delicious. The staff were super patient with our large family as we deliberated and asked questions and the price was really reasonable for what we got. I can't yet speak to the quality of sandwiches, but they looked fantastic and my wife and I are already planning a chance to go back for lunch sometime. They have a nice open dining area as well if you wished to eat there. Overall, highly recommend!

We stopped on our way from Glasgow to IN for my husband’s knee surgery. I placed an order for cookies during our drive up to share with the hotel and surgery staff. The cookies were ready when we arrived and packaged nicely. All the cookies were a huge hit, especially the Snickerdoodles! Thank you! We will be back.

Food is amazing, and the place is very clean and organised. However, sandwiches prices tend to change for no reason in very short periods. I get turkey and cheese sandwiches from here a lot, and they sometimes charge me 19$ for two sandwiches, sometimes 14, sometimes 22 .. I don’t understand why!

This place was absolutely amazing and definitely something to see if you are into fresh baked goods, sweets, etc. They have anything and everything you could imagine The staff were very nice, kind, friendly and went out of their way to help me with my grandson's birthday cake. I called on a Tuesday and they were able to have it ready by the weekend and it was beautifully decorated and delicious to boot!

Our absolute go-to. I can’t remember a time we had a party without something from heitzmans. Most recently-my mother in law specifically requested we have a cupcake for her for when she visited us. 5 stars!

Just picked up my birthday cake. I was pleasantly surprised that the cake decorator put an iris flower on the side of my cake. So sweet and thoughtful.

Fabulous bday cake!! A little hiccup on the order but was quick to clear things up. Everyone was very nice and professional. Definitely recommend 👌🏾!

Excellent Job! Ordered this cake over the phone and was completely satisfied when we saw the finished product. I only requested a plain white cake with a blue "R" on top and they suggested the borders and roses. I'm glad they did. Will be ordering from them again.

I come here for the cheese danish. I grew up on cheese danish from a Portuguese bakery in Connecticut. The cheese danish here at Heitzman’s are delicious and the closest I have ever come to my childhood danish.

Cookies, cakes, bread, and sandwiches. They probably have a lot more but this is what I come back for. Please don’t miss a chance to have some of the no bake cookies. They are my favorites. Good spot for lunch. Dine in or take out. Service is excellent. Definitely a gem.

We always try to get my MIL some Springleaf cookies, for the holidays. We tried to go to the store on Bardstown road, this morning, but it wasn't open; after I spoke to a dude yesterday who told me that store would be open at 7 am. This location, Shelbyville road, has a much better selection and variety of different products.

The sandwich and donuts I ordered were great. The people working there were very pleasant and helpful.

Longtime, local customer here. I typically buy donuts/ pastries and coffee. They are always delicious. My only suggestion is that the glazed-cake donuts need more glaze. Otherwise, they are quite tasty. A delightful bakery.

I wanted a 16" cookie platter and they we out , they made it while I waited!!! Wonderful Customer Service... beautiful platter so very pleased. Thank you!!!!

I ordered my daughter's baptism cake from here and not only was it beautiful and delicious but they were extremely accommodating when I was running late to pick it up! The ladies working on the evening of 8/19 were so thoughtful and awesome to go out of their way to help!

These donuts are on point! Fresh fresh freshly baked. It's so soft and melts in your mouth. I had to cut a piece of each one to try it. If you have a sweet tooth, go for it.

All the butter bakery!!!! Very nice delicatessen, with an amazing bakery how to ribbon on rye it was so delicious I can't wait to go back!
