Tony and Joe were outstanding! Thanks to Tony for making awesome orthotics and eliminating my foot pain. Joe spent so much time helping me find shoes that would fit and feel comfortable for me. For the past 5 years I was only able to find tennis shoes to wear, due to my feet issues. Thanks to Joe I was able to invest in some stylish and comfortable shoes. My feet feel so good!

Joe at Chiappetta Shoes is wonderful! I walked into the store with my son for the first time today and we felt very welcome! Joe listened to my son's specific needs, and provided a great variety of shoes for him to try out! He even showed us a lace tying technique that we have never heard of! My son found a pair he loves (he's still wearing them, haha) and he is VERY excited to go back for some summer sandals! Thanks Joe for all of your help! Today we left with the confidence that my son is wearing the right shoes for him!

I ordered one of your last pair of taupe Boston Clogs before Xmas. They, unfortunately, did not fit the recipient.
I called and spoke with Veronica who was wonderful. We figured out the exchange and we received the mocha clogs within a week of returning the taupe.
I so appreciate this attention, particularly during the frenzied holiday time.
The recipient of the shoes is ecstatic and they fit perfectly.

Worth the drive. Great knowledgeable staff and selection of shoes for difficult to fit feet. My husband has bunions. Chiapetta's staff was able to fit him properly with dress shoes and everyday shoes. It has made a big comfort difference for my husband. He tried other high end brand shoe stores, but did not receive the service, nor did they have expert staff at those stores. A few months after purchasing his new shoes, my husband thought he needed a little lift in a shoe for a slightly tighter fit. We stopped in, without an appointment, and the shoe cobbler took care of us right away, without charge. Even cleaned up his shoes. We live in northern IL. It's worth the relatively short 30 minute drive to Chiapetta's to gain comfortable fitting shoes.

Stopped in on a whim and walked out with an amazing pair of shoes. The service I received was outstanding. The employees and owner (who I had the pleasure of meeting) go above and beyond to make sure the shoes you pick are the best for your feet. Getting quality shoes for your feet is very important. I found a new favorite store.

I went into Chiappetta’s today for a new pair of Birkenstock’s and ended up leaving with three pairs of different shoes! Thirty minutes later, I came back with my husband and bought another four pairs of shoes. Never did I intend on buying this many shoes today but Tyler’s attentiveness to making sure we had the most supportive (and stylish) shoes for this upcoming school year is why this happened! His knowledge and customer service is like no other. He was determined to find wide enough shoes for my husband and narrow enough shoes for me that we truly liked. Without a doubt, no shoe store comes even close to offering what Chiappetta does in regards to comfort, support, durability and style!

First of all, the new store is wonderful! There are so many more options for any type of shoe you could want. The quality of their products is exceptional. The staff is so friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable. I have had back issues all of my adult life. With the purchase of quality shoes & information the staff has given me, my back pain is now minimal. Not only have I purchased great shoes, I’ve learned a lot over the years. Thank you Chiappetta’s! I won’t buy shoes anywhere else.

If you have never been to a full service shoe store I highly recommend that you go to Chiapetta’s. Their service is top notch. I had the pleasure of being helped by Manny who had tremendous patience as I tried on multiple shoes and he helped me narrow down the ones that worked best for my feet. These are not cheap shoes but high quality.

Chiappetta Shoes is my first experience with custom shoes. On my arrival for my fitting I was impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the store. An associate came right up to me and when finding out why I was there ask me to sit down and Fred would be right with me. And he was. He explained the process to me and did some preliminary work. As my Podiatrist wanted to talk to him about my shoes I returned a few days later where Tony finished the fitting. He explained to what he thought Chiappettas could do to help my issues. In two weeks I returned and picked up my shoes. After checking the fit and modifying the inserts Tony carried my packages to the car and off I went. The process was very well handled and I felt comfortable throughout. And the follow up is excellent. No here’s your shoes theres the door here. Checkups every three to six months as needed. Chiappetta shoes is not inexpensive. Quality personal care and products never are. But so far it’s money well spent.

I just recently visited for an adjustment on my right shoe as there were a couple of minor issues that needed to be addressed. My issues were handled professionally and competently by the staff. And as promised, no additional charge. This is a highly recommended business that puts you and your problems first.

I needed a new pair of athletic shoes and I was experiencing ball of foot pain and heel pain so I decided to go to Chiappetta shoes because they had a brand I was interested in trying on. Tyler helped me find the right brand, the right model of shoe and an insert/orthodox that was exactly what I needed. Any insert I had tried before always hurt my feet and I gave up on trying to find one that actually worked. Now I have one that helps my foot move properly and it does not hurt. The shoe is just what I needed and the combo is fantastic. If you have foot pain I recommend going to Chiappetta and get fitted for the shoe that works best for you…your feet will thank you. I honestly love the new insert as it is a total game changer for me.

My feet and knee have never felt better. The staff at Chippeta shoes were patient, took time to explain everything and fitted my custom orthotics. The follow up has been great also. My son now went and bought his new work boots here. We have found them helpful with the whole process.

I went in on a mission yesterday to find boots for an event. I've needed to wear custom inserts for about 10 years so nice shoes/boots haven't been available. Lola was a trooper as she carried out stack after stack of boxes as we tried to find the correct fit, style and comfort. Two hours later I walked out with two pairs of boots and a pair of shoes❤ I am so glad Lola was there to help. Success!

Today was my first time ever coming into Chiappetta Shoes. My initial impression was that the store was very nice looking and clean. They had more than shoes for sale, including clothing and handbags. I was immediately greeted at the door upon entry. I had an appointment to look at custom arch supports for new plantar fasciitis pain in pregnancy. I was helped on the floor by associate Tyler. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me into a great pair of shoes for work and set me up with arch supports that I can use in any shoe. He also recommended a pair of house shoes/slippers that have arch support and are very comfortable. I purchased the 2 pairs of shoes he showed me and the shoe arches/inserts (not the custom arch supports since feet change after pregnancy and he said the arch supports/inserts would be perfect at this time) and I got $10 off each pair of shoes. I highly recommend Chiappetta Shoes and if you’re able to book with or be assisted by Tyler, you’ll be well taken care of. I was very pleased with my new shoes and my experience at the store.

I was promptly greeted by Manny who took his time trying to find the right fit and feel. The first pair he pulled after measuring and watching me walk were spot on after still trying about 6 others, I bought the first pair he put on me! He knows his shoes and can work with any foot issue you may have! Chiappetta has been my go to store for several years!

It was my first time in the store. It was very large with a huge selection of shoes and also handbags and clothing. I had a very nice associate who understood exactly what I was looking for. After measuring both my feet, she brought out two pairs that fit perfectly. I did choose one and am very happy with it.

The new location is beautiful! I've been working with Chiappetta Shoes for 10 years; they customize every shoe I buy to compensate for my leg length difference and that along with custom orthotics makes a world of difference. I lived with back pain for 30 years but small changes in my shoes fixed that. Just wish I'd found them sooner.

My first time visiting the new store, and I was greeted and helped by a super nice young woman named Ella. I knew what I wanted, and she brought me several options and went above and beyond to make sure I chose the right one. I would definitely go back. The selection of high-quality shoes, sporty tennis shoes, clothes, handbags and socks is endless.
