Mars Cheese Castle

Loved this stop. So much cheese. Something for everyone. There's a tavern inside and a place for lunch. You can get a charcuterie board and try it all.

A scheduled stop during a father son road trip in 2022. Had to show my son this place! He was shocked when he first saw it. When we pulled in, phones came out. He shot a quick TikTok and I snapped some photos before going inside. He was in awe seeing what they had available inside. We mingled around, checked out the toys, clothing, trinkets, sauces, Packer merch, and of course, the cheese! We bought a few things to sample and snack on later at the hotel. It's always a great experience coming here and was glad that my son had that same feeling! If you ever in Kenosha, make this a stop on your way through! Love this place!

Good place, I was driving on the road and spotted it so decide to make the necessary turn to get there with a 53” tractor trailer I parked at their shipping and receiving space, for few minutes.
It was worth it the stop, really good shop, big variety of cheeses 🧀 they even have a bar and lots of liquor 🥃 for you to buy and take along with the cheeses and snacks. When I come back to Milwaukee I’m definitely stoping again.

I bought a delicious almond Kringle and fresh beer cheese curds!!!! This is fun just to browse. Lots of cool Wisconsin themed gifts too! There is also a restaurant and bar that was very busy with people. We went on Christmas Eve and they had a oyster tasting buffet!

Huge fan of the cheese castle. It's cheesy in a good way. Fun little tavern on the side with super friendly bartenders and a great beer selection and a Bloody Mary that is out of this world. The shop itself has all the options for cheese, beer, and booze one could want. There is also a small bakery and deli. The food options are good but are more of the fast food variety. Try the Italian beef sandwich and cheese curds. A great stop anytime and naturally on your way to/from Milwaukee & Chicago.

Came in for cheese and ended up splitting a Pastrami Reuben and some Cheese Curds with the hubby - super fresh and yummy! The Castle has so much to offer. From cheese to bottled beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic and everything in between. We left with some amazing cheeses, Fudge, gourmet popcorn, Butterscotch Root Beer, Cherry Ginger Beer, Root Beer and some souvenirs.

It's a fun place to stop. Good snacks, cheeses, meats and beverages. I've long enjoyed going in here to look around and grab something for home.

Y'all, what can I say here ?!! I've given it 5 stars because there isn't an option for a 4.5. But it's better than just a 4. When you pull into the castle, there's plenty of parking space.. I personally like that! The place has all kinds of merchandise from meat.. lots and lots of cheses..candy..jams..soup mixes.. chips.. t-shirts..hoodies..p.j. pants.. stuffed toys.. a bakery..and a little cafe. We don't drink alcohol.. but they had a big selection of craft beer and wines. We did see crafted whiskey. Everyone is friendly, even the customers! If you're a cheese lover.. like I am.. this is the place for you.. it can be pricey, but most fine cheeses are. We tried the cheese bread.. They had free samples of it.. Oh goodness, it's good..so is the cinnamon rolls! We ate at the cafe.. it states the world's best beer battered cheese curds ( the only place I know that serves beer battered cheese curds). They aren't kidding.. they were light . Crispy.. very cheesey.. hubby had the Kings Randsome.. he really enjoyed it, the German potato salad was tasty. I had a classic grilled cheese with French fries.. sandwich was good.. I really liked the fries.. crispy and good flavor. They do have a bar.. we didn't go in since we don't drink. Great way to spend an hour or two.. It's a fun place to explore . Just a side note as you're traveling down Highway 50, going east bound off of rt 12 north.. approx. 5 miles or so.. watch the farm field/driveway..on a hill. You'll pass this Indian statue in someone's driveway.. she is gorgeous! Whoever did this work.. my hats off to you. Hubby drives a semi, and he's been seeing her for years lol..telling me about her. I finally got to see her.. she's beautiful!!

Fun place to stop and shop for a variety of cheese! Cheeses and cheese curds galore! Along with sausages, bakery items, crackers, beer, gift items, candies and more. Staff was helpful and nice. Deli onsite for sandwiches with seating area. Along with a tavern to partake of many beer choices.

Been here several times and I love this place. They have lots of cheese variety. They have a 13 years aged sharp cheddar cheese. I tried it and it tasted really creamy.
They have lots of beer variety from european craft beers to american beers. They also have tons of hot sauces. Bought the ghost pepper sauce and it was a hell of a taste. It was great. Lots of choices. Would come back to try the restaurant.

We had a real cheesy experience, at Mars. Delicious and reasonable priced lunch. Amazing selections of cheeses, with a very knowledgeable staff and plenty of samples.

We stopped on the way home from a trip to Green Bay (I'm from Michigan) and this was my first time here. Lots to choose from! They have meats, cheeses, candy, soup mixes, hot sauces, chips, alcohol, a bakery, a cafe, etc. I had to get a few things to bring home. Everyone was friendly, and the staff were great. I would absolutely stop again!

Right off the exit with plenty of parking. This place is a must stop for tourists or cheese enthusiasts. The fried cheese curd was so good. You need to try it. They have wide selections of cheeses, sausages and local products. The staff are energetic, helpful and friendly.

I love this place. I've been coming consistently for years. They have a great selection of cheeses and meats. They're one of the few places you can buy elegant farmer pies, which is a huge plus. There is a nice comfy bar area and a little diner style restaurant.
It's a great place to stock up on quality food and also a great place to get interesting gifts for people.

The food here is good, great place to bring kids for a quick bite. You can eat inside or out. Lots of gifts for others or yourself here, hard to find candy, snacks, deli, lots of different cheese, ice cream. If your passing thru the area is should be on your list to stop at
