Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Everything was clean & the food was fresh & good. We usually go to Gurnee but this location is now our favorite. The table attendant could have been better but all in all....we give it a B+. Downfall: NO MILITARY DISCOUNT!

Food is basic American fare. Tasty, lots of variety, there's something for everyone,even picky eaters. It's not a bad value, but I think drinks are too expensive. Staff was very nice & attentive to our needs. As far as buffets go, it's good. Same food & quality no matter which one you go to.

I used to come here as a kid with my father on our way our way up to 7 mile. Many good bonding moments here, and the food/staff was always pleasant!

I am a regular there sometimes 3-4 times a week lately. I can pick the right foods for my health. I made a mistake by going to Iron Skillet on Thanksgiving wrong choice. Golden Corral is hands down is far far better choice. I am able to create a great salad with crumble blue cheese. Fresh Strawberries. Then the steak is so tender. If you like ice cream with your complementary coffee you will get charged for that from 1 manager name Bob. The reason why because you drink the ice cream. I was going to get charged for adding ice cream and Carmel topping to my complementary coffee which I don't think it was fair. Just warning to all don't mix your coffee and ice cream together because Bob consider that your drink. I never seen other people get charged for that and no one hasn't heard that before either. Ice cream, Carmel comes with the buffet and Complementary coffee at the end of meal so why am I the only one he wants to charge? So I try to go there when he isn't there. Other wise it is a good choice. Update on April 27,2019 Bob is actually better. There is a newer waitress who is Lisa which I was just trying to help her because the staff works so hard. Granted I was going there a lot but not live at GC. I have a home. Well Lisa was asking how to tables in place again so I said those tables go to a different directs nicley and helpful I said .Well her come back was, "YOU SHOULD KNOW YOU LIVE HERE!! She was not nice about it. I did reply ," I been coming here for 20 years off and on. I did talk to Bob about her remark. I won't sit in her section either. I will move or ask where she is so I will seat else where's. The staff never ever disrespect me like that in 20 years but I won't put up with it. I pay for my meal plus I tip. The server, cooks, kitchen, dishwasher plus managers do great job. Other server are excellent in there work. I like going there and would suggest you and family go there. I can list so many good ones JoJo was my first server December 1999 where my clients brought me here with my family then I was hooked. Staff makes the place and the food is excellent like the staff. But Lisa hope you change or maybe it was a bad day for you but I observed you with other people and you treated other customers better than you treated me. I hope the better because other customers won't tolerate the attitude you gave me. Just a heads up from a former waitress.

Food very fresh and good everything very cleanill definitely back

Great service and food as always. All of it was fresh and hot. No chocolate fountain and that was sad😢.

The food was delicious. Customer service was great and right off the bat, the first attendant we saw was complimenting my hair. Again, the food was amazing and I can't recommend going here anymore than I can.

I like the fried chicken, waitress was keeping up with our drinks.
Atmospheres was fine.

Our server was so amazing. She knew to bring us refills on our drinks before we did! She made our visit 10x better. She is a great employee with great customer service skills.

High end Cafeteria and the food quality is good. Staff is polite and helpful. Be sure to try the sirloin steak! A good value for a family.

We love Golden Corral, and this was our first time at this location. The food was good, and the staff were friendly. Our waiter came by often and was nice.

All you can eat. I tried a little of this and that. Too much food to try everything. What I did eat was very good.

We had my dad's 86th birthday there, he really enjoys the variety of food, I have eaten there several times and enjoy the food also. Great service by Heather, she is amazing. All the staff was very friendly. I like the place and recommend it.

The Golden Corral has a funny reputation in my family ... it's Dad's wish place (I'm the Dad). I really think the Corral is one of the best values when you go out for a hardy meal. They have so much, you'd be very hard to please if you didn't find many things to satisfy your hunger. For not too much more than what you have to pay at a fast food place these days you can really get a feest.

Excellent waitress, food was delicious, roast beef and chicken was very tender, desserts were yummy except for the brownies which I didn't like.
