Crazy good collection of many different genres of electronic music.

What a fun and friendly place to listen to good house jams while looking for a new-to-me set of eclectic records! The walls highlight local artists, bringing a cool vibe to your experience; the shelves draw you in with new and old music that you can preview on turntables around the store and the owners are friendly, engaging and happy to point you in the right direction.

Very unique place. As soon as i walked in i was instantly transported back to the year 2000 in Milwaukee. When i frequented massive, vinyl locust, or revelations. Such an enjoyable experience! The owner Geoff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely come dig the crates when im back in town.

Neat little store staffed by a single dude. Went in just to look around and maybe get an application, ended up having some solid conversation with the owner, and left with two cool movie soundtrack vinyls (one of which was an import).

Highly recommend if you're looking for a vinyl store. There's a sound equipment place right next door as well.

First and foremost, JiggyJamz' main man, Geoff, is a huge music fan with decades of DJing and listening experience. He possesses vast, dynamic knowledge of the electronic music industry, as well as hip hop, house, disco, techno, pop, funk and anything /everything that is fit to be cut to a record. This makes shopping here so fun and rewarding. Add to that the large, amazing selection of vinyl records and other related, unique art & music merchandise at affordable prices, and you've got more than just a record store -- you've got a complete, personalized experience in just one of the ways (the purest, most important way, if you ask me) of purchasing and learning about music.

Stop by some afternoon and check out both JiggyJamz (specialty = vinyl record sales) and MC Audio (specialty = sales, rentals and demos of analog & digital musical instruments and gear)... They are next door neighbors! It just doesn't get any more convenient.

Best record shop in town! Geoff Kaster, the grand wizard over there, is super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Mostly focused on electronic music but carries a bit of almost everything, also curates and displays local artists works. Fantastic source for quality used and new vinyl and CD's.

So this is kind of a hidden gem in an underrated area of the east/north side in Madison. Very unassuming from the street, but if you follow the stairs, you will pop out in a very cool little space. The night I popped in, there was someone doing some live dj-ing and it actually sounded pretty good. The store focuses on dance and electronic music, but they have a small selection of pop, soul, rock, etc. Nice selection, fair prices and unique vibe...a very nice "neighborhood" atmosphere. Do yourself a favor after you grab a cone at the ice cream shop next door and check this one out.

Jiggy Jams! Nuff said. But ill say more. Absolutely amazing selection of the best music kniwn to mankind! Bold statement, yes, but true! Pick out and listen to as much music as you want to get and buy what you want. They also have a record store jam sessions each month that are something special. Great people great vibes and great fun! Big ups to Geoff hes the man!

Establishments like Jiggy Jamz are very hard to come by: a gathering of music in all mediums, both new and old, as well as a place to meet new friends and watch performances. Think Amoeba Music, but in Madison. The icing on the cake is the owner and operator Geoff, who is the embodiment of the quintessential record store owner: someone willing to learn about you, the customer, your likes/dislikes, and give you HAND TAILORED selections to sort through. No algorithm or online shopping experience can compare or replace this personal and sacred partnership between record store owner and customer. I will forever be shopping in person at record stores like Jiggy Jamz because I get the care and attention that only an in-person interaction can provide, and Geoff is a talented, caring, and critical part of the midwest music scene. Support your local music scene, support your local record store, SUPPORT JIGGY JAMZ!

Not the biggest store, and definitely not easy to find, but this shop is the gateway to the underground. Geoff is an all around rad dude and has a great collection of music. Swing thru or check out the music online.

Great selection of electronic (all genres included), hip hop, dj scratch tools, and related accessories. Highly recommended for all vinyl heads. Great prices!! Lots and lots of used records!!!
