One of the best places to grab a drink in Vermont. Gina, the owner is awesome. Live music, cribbage tournaments, games, casual hardware shopping... what more could one ask for??

We stopped in seeking help after our car broke down nearby and we needed access to a phone as our service was nonexistent. Ruth was working and was seriously awesome. She let us use their phone and offered us a glass of water along with emotional support. This was my wife and I’s first time in Vermont and we were struck with how kind everyone not only in Harry’s Hardware Store was, but the people of Cabot generally. Also we wish we would have had the opportunity to stick around longer to try the beers, play the games, and eat from the Wednesday night pizza truck! Overall recommend the experience of going in to Harry’s to grab a pint and pray you get Ruth. She is awesome!

Fantastic shop that reminds you of the good old days! There's a bar inside that serves great beer and cider. Occasionally there's live music! Don't miss it and drop by. It's worth the detour!😃

What a great local place for a beer or cider and to pick up some Cabot fancy cheese. They were so friendly even after the terrible floods.

Come for old time jams, bluegrass shows, beer and cider on tap and pick up that extra twine, bungy cord, fertilizer, fillet knife etc that you remembered you needed. Or just paw through the paint swatch display and nurse your beer. The staff will love that.
And it's a good reminder that even your local hardware store employees deserve a good tip.

Went to the diner in the back, actually. Very cozy place and the food was really good. It has a lot of local charm.

Truly a little gem. The hardware store, the diner, and the bar all together. Stopped in for lunch and the food was excellent. Really tastes homemade and cooked perfectly. Definitely unique sitting in the front of the hardware store having lunch, along with the bar right behind us. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. I think everyone should stop in to see this place for themselves.

Loved this place! Great small town feel while still welcoming in anyone who comes their way. Bartenders were great and sociable. This place is a must if you're traveling anywhere near here! Where else can you by beer, bullets, and building supplies all in the same place?

I love this place. Has just about anything you need in a pinch plus it's an amazing hang out spot for the community. From nuts and bolts to live music and a crisp local beer, Harry's has it all!

Had such a great time sitting at the bar and playing some games. Flat bread was amazing, even have a gluten free option! Welcoming staff and overall great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone and can't wait to be back (for the hardware obviously)!

As a hardware store goes, it's on the small side, but they are always helpful, and usually have what I need. The prices are reasonable, and it always feels good to shop locally. Plus, how many hardware stores feature live music and a fantastic bar? It's the only hardware store that I'll go out of my way to check out.

My son always drags me into this store for the candy dispenser. Amazing place: this is a hardware store + bar + restaurant + food truck vendor space. They have stickers, bags, shirts, and cups for $3-$20 if you want to bring a little souvenir home. Little kids play area in the front corner and classic American-made toys are for sale on a huge shelf! Owners and employees are friendly and forgiving.

An excellent, cozy hardware store with a great sense of community — not to mention a bar! If you have a friend who visits, buy them a drink credit and they'll put it up on the blackboard for them to use later.

Okay, you can't beat that with a stick! Perfect laid back Sunday material. Sweet bar and bartender, local awesome food outside the door, local bluegrass jam inside and an honest to god, "if you need it we got it" hardware store.♥
