Comfort Inn & Suites

Wow this was a good find! Staff is so nice, the pool is great (big, well kept, shallow end perfect for kids with steps) arcade is a lot of fun with 7+ games and pool/air hockey. Breakfast was great too! Highly recommend. Our kids ages 3-7 loved it as well!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and were very impressed with the staff (who were helpful and kind) and the cleanliness of the entire facility. Our room was very clean, as was the dining room and lobby. The workout room and pool area were also very nice. Breakfast is next level. Kudos to Tanya Donovan and her team for their work here!!

This place was awesome. I went here for 1 night, and it was the best. The pool is huge. The rooms are incredibly nice they have free lemon water and cookies. When you walk in, it was an amazing experience

took my daughter to see a college nearby the whole facility was lovely the staff was super friendly and helpful only bummer was the bubbles in the hot tub not working! Would totally stay here again

Awesome staff!!! Very clean and Great place to stay. Very good breakfast. Staff Brian, is awesome. He's always moving and working hard making sure that the guests have everything they need. Brian gives the Energizer Bunny a run for his money. LOL 😆 The entire staff brings this Hotel to a higher level. Very professional and I can't say enough. I've let all my friends and family know that this is the place to stay.

All of the staff members that we dealt with at the St. Johnsbury Comfort Inn and Suites were incredibly kind, helpful, and respectful, which made our stay there extra special. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable and the breakfast area provided a place for our extended family members to gather in the morning. The location is close to town.

Everything was great at this hotel.. amazing staff that is friendly and makes customers feel welcome. Our family really enjoyed the stay and the breakfast was delicious. We would like to thank Madi for who answered all our questions and was very helpful. We notice how hardworking Madi was and seems to put a lot of pride in her work...and that's something to be appreciated. The pool area was very clean and the Jacuzzi was very nice. We look forward to our next visit.

Breakfast was wonderful! Mary and Anita kept things clean , well stocked and friendly! Many gluten free options for my husband with celiacs! The rooms were spacious, clean and we had everything we needed!

So far, we are loving our stay at Comfort Inn and Suites at St Johnsbury, VT. The room (and the bathroom) is very clean, spacious and well equipped. Also, the free hot breakfast is awesome!!! Mary is a very sweet person and makes sure that all the guests are comfortable and well settled in the breakfast room. Highly recommend this place!

Better then Expected!!! We’re here in late July for a College thing. Being a Comfort Inn, I was expecting a middle of the road kind of experience. This ABSOLUTELY IS NOT! We checked in and while checking in, the staff pointed out fresh baked cookies on the table behind us. The Breakfast offering so far has been very good. Plenty of choices for hot or cold breakfast, and the staff constantly is tending to keep the food coming. The rooms were clean and welcoming. So far the front desk staff has been very friendly and attentive. If I need to offer a negative comment … “not all the tv channels shown on the TV guide card work blah blah blah.” We’ve already booked our next two stays here.

I’m so glad we chose to stay at this hotel. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with all of the flowers. The staff was also extremely accommodating. We arrived before the 3pm check in and they were able to get us a room. We also needed to extend our stay and they were able to make it easy for us. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. I also appreciated that they had laundry and an arcade to play in while we waited. I would definitely stay here again!

Christina helped us so much when we called and had a change in plans, she was so kind and helpful to us in our vacation plans! Then Anita went above and beyond in her kindness and helpfulness to us at Breakfast! We needed some assistance with a room challenge and Jessica was there for us in her professional and oh so friendly ways to us! Wow! So impressive this staff at your hotel which makes us very delighted to be here on our fall colors trip! What a great trip! We LOVE our room, too! The amenities and Breakfast are fabulous! REAL Maple Syrup for our waffles, INCREDIBLE!!! And COOKIES galore even on Friday evening! Yummy! You’ve got our vote hands down Comfort Inn & Suites near Burke Mountain! Thanks everybody for making us feel like royalty here!

Great place ! We couldn’t enjoy the pool and spa but the breakfast was really nice, plenty of choices ! The room was big enough for three travellers with a couch to play boardgames. Staff was really welcoming. A little pricy for Canadian but we were happy with our stay.

I’m the past 2 years, we’ve literally traveled from coast to coast. My wife is a travel nurse, so we stay at a lot of motel, hotels, and suites. This is by far one of the most comfortable.
The pictures of the pool doesn’t do it justice, it’s huge. Nice gym. A small arcade. Dry sauna.
And an overall great staff. We’ve been here about a week now. And will probably be here for a couple more weeks.
I definitely recommend travel nurses to stay here, as they gave my wife a 50% discount!!

Honestly, the only negative thing I have to say is that the place is outdated with the paint schemes, and carpeting. Which is well worn and stained. And the doors and windows in the pool area need fixed, because of the ice buildup due to low temperatures outside.

I always love coming here. I stay at quite a few Choice hotels and this is my favorite. It's set nicely amongst lots of trees and beautiful landscaping. They welcome dogs, and my newfoundland loves it too , especially the elevator, lol. I like taking the stairs but she puts on the brakes and turns her head to the elevators. The free breakfast here is nicer than most as well. The beds are very comfortable and good water pressure. And nice front desk staff!

Very clean hotel. Super nice and helpful staff. Amazing complimentary treats like 24h coffee and cookies! Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Basically perfect! Exit 20 off 91 and there it is, clearly visible.
Beautiful property, very well kept inside.
The room we had was large and clean.
The pool, hot tub, sauna and workout room are very nice.
The folks working the front desk were all friendly.
Pet-friendly.
Business office with lots of literature about activities nearby.
Hot breakfast in the morning was a nice touch and very handy.
To be extra picky, the TV was slow to change channels and the scrambled eggs are clearly not real eggs, but otherwise I highly recommend this property.

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend for my sisters wedding. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. They even went above and beyond to help me print out the vows and ceremony when I couldn’t get them to print at the ceremony location. Everyone in my family complimented the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, how comfortable the beds and rooms were. We will most defiantly be using this hotel again and highly recommend staying here! Thank you all so much for you all of your help.

Lovely stay. Desk was very helpful and friendly, the lobby and lounges were classy and comfy, and the room was phenomenal. We did have an issue where our first keycards didn't work on our room door, but they were replaced immediately when I brought it up to the staff. Our room came with a binder with suggestions for local attractions and eateries and, most helpfully to our tired souls, a couple of take out menus in very back. We did not take advantage of any of the other services and amenities available, but I would definitely recommend a stay here. Be sure to book well in advance; this place is very popular!

I stay at Choice hotels all the time - this might be the nicest one I've ever stayed at. Large clean quiet rooms, good hot breakfast, real maple syrup,24hr coffee.. the grounds are landscaped beautifully. Lots of parking... Note for motorcycle riders : I noticed 2 bikes parked just outside the front entrance, in a well lit, highly visible area. Gives you that extra feeling of security...
