I took two pairs of leather boots in for repair after a recommendation from a colleague. The shop did an excellent job! One pair of boots had a half sole and the heel replaced. I’ve had these boots for about five years and never had them professionally cleaned or shined. They look almost brand new again! Same goes for the other pair as well. They even were able to complete the repairs ahead of schedule. Definitely recommend!

10 out of 10 on the work they did on my dress shoes. This family run business is great! They made an old pair of my shoes look new again! I ended up taking all my shoes to them to clean up :). Highly suggest you take your shoes here for clean up.

This company is simply awesome and provides amazing results when handling my shoes. The atmosphere is always pleasant and I’ve even sat down with the owner and just talked beyond the business.

I drive roughly 2 hours and I have no regrets or disappointment with the finished products for any pair of shoes I take to them. What I love even more is that they will ship your shoes to you, you pay that convenient cost, and the owner called me to make sure I received my shoes and if I was happy with the results.

If you’re ever in Alexandria, VA, I highly recommend you to this shop, you won’t regret it.

Mr. Lopez is the Michelangelo of shoe repair. His craftsmanship shines through in his work. We’ve had shoes, bags and various leather goods repaired and restored over the years, and each piece was expertly handled. If he can’t fix it, it can’t be fixed. Do yourself a favor and extend the life of your footwear by supporting this family business.

This place is amazing. They restored our beloved 42 year old leather bag. Great prices, competent and kind staff, and my Uggs look pretty great too.

Incredibly grateful for the skills and service at this store. We had a hand-me-down leather laptop bag, with pretty bad wear all over and the shoulder pad torn to shreds. This family owned business is a real standout for quality, craftsmanship and customer service. Leather is what they specialize in (not just shoes!) and if you have an issue with a leather good, they can solve it!

I randomly walked in on a Monday afternoon in the summer of 2023. I was seeking help with touching up an old pair of Allen Edmonds. I was assisted by Sophie who was nothing but fantastic. She explained everything they did in such manageable understanding. Ultimately after looking at my shoes her suggestion was a simple polish. Well let me tell you, she spent considerable time while I waited with no appointment, resulting in basically brand new shoes. I couldn't believe how nice they turned out and for such a fair price. I greatly recommend this High-quality family owned shop of experts in the corner of Bradlee Shopping Center next to the post office in Alexandera, Virginia. I watched numerous repeat customers walk in and out during my 30 minutes of observing everything during my short visit. Simply thrilled I wondered into this little gem of a shop.

This shop is incredible. I’ve had two shoe soles repaired here (now on year two of still in great shape) and one pair of shoes cleaned (FYI they clean your shoes as a part of the sole repair charge). I will only be using Best Foot Forward from now on based on the high quality results. The customer service is impeccable and the selection of laces is unmatched. They are on top of the trends and easily accessible (near Pentagon City Metro and/or free one hour street parking).

All shoes they fix look like new. They did a great job on my Birkenstocks sandals.

Top notch service and quality. This family run business is awesome. I got my boots winterized and some leather sneakers cleaned up and was very impressed with their work. They also do all sorts of leather goods work. This is the only place I’d take y shoes.

The owner took time to explain options to fix my father's shoe. He's extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and has a great demeanor. Was recommended to me by my father's occupational therapist who highly recommended them.

I almost never post reviews on Google. But "Best Foot Forward" is worth it! Will & his family are very nice people, and they do OUTSTANDING work. I've been going there for several years, and every time I have been extremely impressed! I think that you will be, too.

Wonderful job! This family owned business was able to restore my Red Wings with new vibram soles, with cleaning and conditioning included. They look brand new like they're fresh out of the box, and feel better than ever. I absolutely recommend their services, and will certainly be coming back.

Myself and two colleagues purchased some high end shoes at Pentagon Mall. We asked how to keep them in good condition, and the store recommended Best Foot Forward. We were greeted by a TRUE Cobbler. I was about to throw away my Rockports that were literally falling off of my feet, and the owner asked me to give him a chance to fix them. In 2 days I returned to what looks and feels like a brand new pair of shoes, on top of properly prepared high end dress shoes. This man is a true professional, with quaint old school shoe repair machines from the 1940s. It is a great atmosphere, and a good overall experience. I /HIGHLY recommend this place whether you have new shoes or old. you will NOT be disappointed! Yes, they prefer cash up front... but in this economy, and with a small family owned business... .can you blame them? Great place, I will come back every time I visit the states!

Outstanding customer service! I needed a rollerbag fixed before a flight the following day. They were helpful, communicative, and replaced my broken wheel quickly for a decent price. And they saved me from having to make an unplanned luggage purchase.
