MGBW is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and I attended one of its first anniversary parties that included a prime showcase of its interiors and furniture that has become symbolic of its mission of being pioneering disrupters.

The vignettes in this showroom are extensive and just when you think you were duly impressed with the textures, prints, bold colors and welcoming nature of one setup, you turn around and there is another feast for the eyes awaiting you to figure out how you’ll be able to leave without spending part of your retirement!

What I particularly loved are the fabric selections that allows every personalization you can dream of without worrying about whether your neighbor will have your exact same couch/pillow/lamp/framed art combination that is from the big box store down the road.

And for those with kids, I saw with my very own eyes how kid with chocolate chip cookie stained hands did not ruin a beige colored couch. In other words, if you are a family with children, you won’t have to miss out on what great design in fear of children stains.

And if you are new to personalized interior design services, you don’t have to order a couch. I’d highly recommend starting out with a custom fabrics accent pillow (budget about $400 regular price, $300 Comfort Club price).

Overall a great design showroom with a fun staff.

My husband and I had a great experience at MGBW Dallas. We were sofa shopping and really just didn't have a clue, other than 'we need a sofa.' We popped in several stores and managed to not find anything until we got to MGBW. We probably would have left with nothing there too had Cathie not greeted us and asked some pointed questions about what we were looking for. She basically walked us through the process, getting us to hone in on what we actually wanted, all while not making us feel pressured or confined in any way. Had Cathie not been involved, we probably would have wandered in an out having not seen anything. But with her help we customized a couch that manages to fit with our Rustic / Midcentrury Modern look and I absolutely love it. Delivery was friendly, communicative, on-time, and the sofa is in perfect condition. Great customer experience from start to finish.

I Love MGBW!! I am amazed each time I see the MGBW Model at Bleu Ciel. It’s simply stunning! The fabrics they chose and color scheme, combined with the view perfection! I couldn’t have imagined a better decorated model home if I tried. Definitely highly recommended!

A remarkable exquisite place. .

I ordered a sofa in August from their Dallas store. It was delivered on September 27. Damaged in transit.

Since then MGBW has been giving me the run around. First they tried to fix it. Not sure how you fix damaged fabric with a steamer, but I let them try. It obviously did not work. After that their customer service has not contacted me. I regret having spent $6,700 with them.

After four weeks they sent a replacement sofa. This time with no visible defects. Carrie from customer service was great.

Ordered a desk in January and initially was told it would be available by end of February, that then changed to May, now hopefully July. When requested a refund, they offered their broken showroom model. Very aggravated with this company at this point. This is a gift to my daughter and we are disappointed with this company and their workmanship.

They're great until you have a problem. I had ordered multiple things from this store and had a good experience until a dresser I ordered arrived in a horrible yellow/brown color that was supposed to be cream. After agreeing the dresser color was incorrect/damaged, they basically ghosted me from the corporate number/email to the store. I would call the corporate number and they would hang up. Returning this dresser was a total nightmare and became like a full time job. Weeks (5+) later they finally arranged for it to be picked up but would not refund me for the delivery ($250) and would only give me a store credit or refund my card with a 25% restocking fee for a damaged item (over $600!)! that’s criminal. I can no longer recommend buying anything here. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience

Horrible customer service and order fulfillment! I ordered and paid for a floor mirror in August 2022. I was told delivery was anticipated in November 2022. When early March 2023 rolled around and the mirror still had not arrived (and VERY little in the way of customer follow up), I called to collect a refund. I was told "senior management" would review and give me a call, and that I could expect that in about 5 business days. I called again on March 15 and was given the same response--I had to wait to hear from senior management before my refund could be processed, and they had quite a collection of refunds on their plate. You don't say?!

The mirror was a stock item--not a custom order, which I could understand requiring a longer delivery schedule. For the prices this place charges, I certainly expected better service all the way around. The lack of updates on the delayed delivery, and the abysmal handling of the refund request, combine to turn me off of this place, and to take the unusual step (for me) of writing this review. I fear I will never get my money back, nor will I get a mirror (which I don't even want, now).
