Some of the most delicious croissants in America as well as their coffee. Tried a regular croissant and chocolate. Had a cappuccino and definitely will be back. 🫶🥐Super friendly customer service and happy atmosphere. Very clean place and location.

I have been a loyal customer of the Village Baking Company at Oak Lawn for years now, and I just had another fantastic experience during my recent visit. Tyler, the manager, always goes above and beyond to help me choose the perfect loaf of bread. Karly is also a joy to interact with and adds to the welcoming atmosphere of the bakery.

The selection of bread and pastries at the Village Baking Company is always fresh and delicious, with a variety of flavors to choose from. They always have some innovative breads and pastries to try, which adds an exciting element to each visit. The quality of the baked goods is consistently excellent, and I can always count on finding something tasty to enjoy. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for top-notch baked goods and a friendly staff.

I had the almond-stuffed croissant and it was delicious!

Good coffee too!

But the best was the service, they are so friendly and nice.

If you would like to find a place with delicious baked goods and great coffee. I would say go here.

I'm going back for the sandwiches.

They also had seating options if you would like to do some work/ study.

Love this place, all the pastries are so fresh. Staff is friendly and helpful, great customer service. This last week I tried to laminated brioche, and let me tell you, it was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. Flaky on the outside like a croissant, soft and delicious on the inside. Flavor tasted almost like a sopaipilla. So so so good, 9.8/10. Will be getting approximately 8 of them next time I go.

What a gem! A wonderful coffee shop with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in a delightful space. Also a phenomenal bakery serving delicious quiche, croissants, pastries, sandwiches and lots of yummy treats. The people are so, so nice. We've been in Dallas for 2 weeks and just discovered them today. We will most certainly be back for coffee and goodies next time we're in town. And delightfully dog friendly!

Had a chance to visit this bakery while on vacation. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. We got the Pretzel Croissant, Chocolate Kouign Amann, and Laminated Brioche.

The Laminated Brioche was very good it was almost like a donut texture but in pastry form. It was very soft and tasty.

The Kouign Amann, was something I’ve never had before. It was very odd, it’s a cake like texture with chocolate in the middle but, it’s very crispy. Rather than what you would think with a donut or cake. I was surprised with how delicious it was.

Finally, the best thing about this place the pretzel croissant. I’ve been to hundreds of bakeries in my food travels, and I have to say this is the best thing I’ve had. I could literally eat 100s of them. They are absolutely incredible.

Overall, this place is a must visit.

My first stop when I arrived in TX. The coffee, staff and other customers kicked off my trip, however the almond croissant and open face sandwich were the star of the show. Outside seating was a delight! Right down the street is Turtle Creek. Beautiful place to walk and think!

I stopped in on my way to work this morning to grab some pastries for the office. WOW were we all impressed. The pretzel croissant was heavenly - the best pretzel we have ever had. The bacon, cheddar, jalapeño croissant was delicious as well. It was all amazing. I wouldn't have changed a thing about any of it.
The parking situation isn't the best, so be prepared to park elsewhere and probably cross a busy street. It's worth it!

Super cute rustic bakery vibes with indoor and outdoor seating. Yummy food and coffee. I got a Turkey sandwich and it was super yummy as well as an iced coffee and chocolate cake. They are a little pricey but that’s just how boutique bakery’s like this are ! But overall great food and drinks, cute location and friendly staff !

One bite into the pretzel croissant and you will want to buy all of it- the texture and taste is even better than expected, especially with the hint of salt from the salt flakes afterwards. (They have a yummy selection of sandwiches too!)

The spinach croissant is also delicious, and every other pastry. Super cute cafe too.

Absolutely impressed with this bakery. It's an active bakery with coffee shop. The sandwiches are amole sized and very good. I had the turkey and bacon and was not disappointed. They offer great to go boxes if you are in a rush.
Vibe of the shop is great. Probably not a great place to do remote work as there limited seating and tables are low.

Delicious pastries and bread. Highly recommend for a quick coffee and bite as people circulate fairly quickly during the weekends.

Unfortunately, the only miss during our visit was the eclair. We only wished the chocolate glaze or icing was a darker chocolate or unadulterated but the filling was good. Highly recommend nevertheless.

First time here, nice variety of pastries and quaint location. Purchased crossiants, small banana loaf and various other treats. The almond cookies crisps are a must try but watch out they are addicting.
Only downside is parking, its limited. 1

This place has some of the best croissants I have ever eaten. Their staff is delightful. My special needs daughter went up and ordered a chocolate chip cookie to go (unbeknownst to me) and when I jokingly asked how she was going to pay for it, the young man at the counter said, "it's on me." Limited parking is the only downside.

Boutique artisan bakery offering a cornucopia of indulgent, flaky XL croissants with different creative fillings. The kouign-amanns are delicious but a bit too sweet. Overall great value for price.

What a great little spot. Destiny and Tyler are wonderful. I went in there not really knowing what I wanted but Tyler started asking my preferences on flavors, sweetness, strength, etc and ended up whipping me up a delicious drink perfect to my tastes. The pastries here are top notch, I haven’t had one I didn’t like. Will definitely be coming back.

Very nice little bakery in uptown. The croissants are by far best in town, especially the pretzel ones. Absolutely worth stopping in, but the parking is fairly limited

This place makes me feel like I’ve traveled to Europe and back. Large variety of pastries to try (could have a little less butter/be more fresh). The decor and vibe of a place is very important to me. And this place has a great vibe. The staff, the coffee, the seating— everything has me coming back every time I need to be productive and treat myself with some yummy pastries. One thing is a I wish they didn’t sell out of things so quickly. You have to go in the morning for the fresh and full stock of things because most of the good stuff is gone by noon-afternoon.
