la Madeleine

I've been wanting to go to one of these restaurants for years since I've moved to the Dallas area. So I made that happen today and I was pleasingly delighted with what they had to offer. Upon walking in you get the aura of France with decorations, art, and music. The menu was pretty extensive covering lunch/dinner, breakfast, bakery, and cafe options. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I ordered the Country French Breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs your style, potato galette (I really enjoyed that the most), bacon, a few slices of tomato, and a croissant. I got my eggs overeasy because they don't offer Sunnyside up, but that was no issue, the eggs were still really good. The potatoes were full of flavor, had some crunch to the exterior, and whatever green that was in there just tied it all together! Bacon was cooked perfectly. The croissant I got a little hesitant with, the exterior was a little crunchier than I was expecting, but the interior was so fluffy and soft it was the pair au tu resistance (excuse my French lol). I also ordered an almond chocolate croissant, a chocolate mousse parfait I think (I actually wanted a fruit parfait lol). And creme brulee!

Called in advanced on this icy day to see if they were open cause a lot of places weren’t. A gentleman answered and said we were more than welcome to come by. There were only 2 people working but it was a nice gesture. The food was great but the desserts were better. Had a great experience.

An enjoyable morning breakfast with some French country flare. Vivaldi's Four Seasons Italian concerto was playing which simply made my breakfast experience just a bit better.

The food is always hot and delicious. The service is fast and the staff very helpful and very courteous.

I ordered the Quiche Lorraine. I love the crunchy, flakey, buttery crust that the fluffy egg mixture is baked in. In the egg mixture you will find pieces of ham mixed in that add a great layer of flavor.

I love eating here with my sugar mama! This place always has good food and dessert!

I highly recommend this place, my mother has lots of food allergies and the manager worked with her to get the shrimp salad just right for her. She loved it! Also, the food was great, I recommend any of the Duet combos. It can be as filling or as light as you’d like. Free coffee refills and wi-fi. Bon apetite!

Cute little French bakery and restaurant, one of my favourites in Dallas. Friendly staff, fresh food!

Breakfast was amazing, as usual. I usually get the country French breakfast , which is very nice. The tomatoes are crisp and refreshing. The French roast coffee is great! I love this location because of the staff. The atmosphere is nice as well. It makes me feel like I'm in France.

Still hands down one of my favorites, love the atmosphere and food. Recommend the Chicken Pesto Pasta! +

I enjoyed my experience at La Madeleine. They offer great selection of French food in a European cafe environment. Usually a very quiet atmosphere good for a conversation with family or friends. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a reprieve from the busy Dallas streets.

I LOVE this place. The fruit tarts are my absolute favorite.

This is the ideal "Dallas Restaurant" experience I was looking for. I was genuinely impressed by the cleanliness, the service, and mkst important the quality of food the chef took the time to explain and reassure me. The desserts were amazing and I got the the Madeleine Chicken with the mushroom sauce. These people working here deserve raises especially the tall chef.

I love this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

My friend Anita and I eat here at least 2 or 3 times a year. We are never disappointed. There are no words to describe how much I love every one of their soups and their Caesar salad.

I love this place. A staple of my childhood, so to speak, I grew up coming here. With today’s climate being what It is the energy is still the same and so inviting. There is a worker here by the name of Miss Tracee/TRACY and she is such a hard worker with the kindest spirit. If google reviews could give someone a bonus I hope this one does. Seeing her work ethic, her demeanor, and grace while working on a Sunday so I could have my meal, spoke volumes to me. I hope every employee who works for this establishment receives a Christmas bonus of some sort because this is hard work but they make It look second nature with a smile on their faces. Great customer service. Great food. Everytime.

The most delicious French cafe in all the land! You can’t go wrong with basically anything on the menu. My favorites are:

- Strawberries and Cream (a no-brainer)
- Chicken Salad Sandwich
- French Onion Soup
- Crepes are good but small
- French Dip

I really enjoy la Madeleine and this location had been a favorite of mine, because of the cozy atmosphere. French lessons in the restroom! I'll be glad when they get the fresh bread back out front, to go with the soup and salad. But here's a strange thing... the croissant at QT is better. Unbelievable, I know.

I had the most moving experience I think I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I am I am so pleased with the service I have received the quality of food is impeccable and the service is even more over the top then one could imagine. As I get to the counter to pay for tomato soup and cookies and pasta I realize that I only have one way to pay, with Apple Pay. I go to pay with Apple Pay I have enough money to do so in the account and unfortunately it just won’t go through. The gentleman who was helping me was so kind so was the woman who was in line behind me. I have no other way to pay and the gentleman working at the counter just said not to worry about it and then he would take care of it. That was most helpful especially after a long day and losing my job today. I’m a customer for life. And plan to pay it forward!

Excellent food and great service! The menu is somewhat limited but they have a great chicken caesar and enough sweets to satisfy even the largest sweet tooth. French country fair with soups salads and sandwiches and some special entrees. The staff is super friendly and willing to accommodate most requests. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
