Mi Cocina

Mi cocina is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dallas . The food is excellent as well as the ambience. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The chicken nachos mi Tierra is a must try. Their fajitas, enchiladas and salad are excellent.

Visited from Houston Texas, as always delicious, well cooked, presented food.
Service was awesome.
Wait was a little long but well worth it!
Will definitely try to come back every time we come to Dallas!!

I ordered the Luann's meal and Mambo Taxi! So delicious on both. The Luann's came with a lot of food and was left full and very satisfied. I love the atmosphere. If you don't like a lot of background noise / loud people talking over you I suggest just go at an earlier time in the afternoon. Place gets pretty busy, but our experience we only had to wait a minute while they cleaned us off a table. Excellent service, waters were always filled and beer was always full.

This was my first time at this location and it was a great experience! The service was 10/10, our server Issac was very attentive and welcoming. He made sure we always had drinks + whatever else we needed and was able to give us good recommendations on the food. The food was amazing and came out pretty quickly! Over all I was extremely satisfied and will definitely be going back again.

Amazing food and atmosphere. The tacos were out of this world. Looking for a fantastic drink- try the Mamba. Apparently, that is their signature drink. You won't be disappointed.

Had the absolute best meal here! Great atmosphere, excellent service and awesome food!! The Grouper Ranchero was off the charts, could possibly be the best meal I've ever had. Clarissa and Hugo were the BEST!!! The margaritas are also top notch. Go here immediately if you're in the area.

I have been going to Mia Cocina for over 20 years now and I feel compelled to let you know that every single time has been fantastic!!! You know you are in a great place when you see the same staff there over the years.
Francisco is the best waiter there is and I request that he wait on me and my party every time I go eat there. He has become a dear friend and he is on top of providing you the best dining experience possible no matter how packed the facility is. I do not normally write reviews online unless it warrants one, and over the many years I have dined there I feel that I need to commend Francisco and Mia’s for their excellent service and cuisine!
I’m 63 years old and I will never go anywhere else for Mexican Cuisine!

Our friends told us we had to go to Mi Cocina’s in Highland Park Village (Dallas, TX) and now we know why! They picked us up downtown and we headed over to Highland Park Village. I think I stayed in the parking as long as we were in the restaurant - it is absolutely gorgeous and to see all the lights against the night sky was really beautiful (I could have stayed in the parking lot all night lol - it’s magical). ✨✨✨ We recommend a reservation or be prepared to line up. This place is busy and definitely worth the wait (If you have to be in line). Great food and drinks / their margaritas were flowing all night and we went back one more time before we left Dallas. We had an amazing time with friends and I could have stayed in the parking lot all evening and taken pictures of the gorgeous lights! A MUST SEE, TASTE, DO AND EXPERIENCE!!

I came to eat with my husband on the weekend, the food was incredible and the drinks where amazing. Manager John stopped by to make sure we were all taken care of and made us feel welcome for our first time there. Definitely coming back!

Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants around. These guys aren’t afraid to make things spicy, and the prices are very reasonable. Food was excellent. Dining experience and service was also superb.

First time going to this location, and it did not disappoint. The food was good, the drink were better. The staff puts out a good vibe, the bartenders will have you laugh till you can’t breath 😆. Chris, David, and Alfredo are the best!

Popped in here for lunch & it was amazing! I love Mi Cocina but this location is above the gold star! Great service, great food, hardly any wait for our food despite a pretty steady lunch crowd.

10 out of 10 must try again!! This was my first time and it was such a great and smooth experience. Alfredo definitely knew what he was doing at the monkey bar. Definitely recommend!

Mi Cocina is awesome! The Restaurant Manager legend and I enjoy dining at every location! Its that good for me to take clients and after a day of shopping. Mi Cocina is my favorite restaurant for tex-mex in all of Dallas. The services rocks every one else's pants of at Mi Cocina!

Luis was amazing as our wait staff. The appetizer, Shrimp wrapped in bacon with jalapeño a side of pablano and a spicy sauce was a big hit with my friends from Nevada. The entree '57' is huge so consider sharing! I had the Rico salad with Chicken and the chicken was so very freshly cooked, very soft and juicy. I always use the salsa as a dressing =).

I’ve had Hugo as my server many times and he’s AMAZING! He always provides me with top notch service, always bringing food and drinks quickly & providing a great attitude and company during the meal! Cannot recommend coming here enough! And ask for Hugo!

As always, Mi Cocina was amazing! Before we could even ask, we had water, chips, salsa. The service at Mi Cocina is always top notch, which makes it worth the wait! Juan/JJ was our waiter today, and he was awesome! Funny, attentive, and accommodating-very important to us. Thank you Juan! Another great Mi Cocina experience in the books.

ALL THE VIBES FOR SWEET ANNIVERSARY! We celebrated 2 years together at this location and our server Carmen (Carmine) was so attentive and the food was amazing! Our first date was at Mi Cocina in FW and we’ve been to quite a few over the past couple of years, each with their own vibe and we really enjoyed this one!

Our server JJ was the best. Took care of us and was very professional and courteous. Our food came out quickly and we never had an empty glass. Excellent service and delicious food.
