Yong D Chang MD

I have been taking my mom to see Dr. Chang for at least 20 years. he also saw my late father. We have followed him from Arlington, to Irving, to Carrolton. He is nothing short of amazing, compassionate, a great listener and genuinely concerned with the care of his patients. His staff has had a lot of turn overs throughout the years but I or my mom have not experienced any disrespect from any of his staff. It is a predominately Korean staff, because Dr. Chang sees many Korean patients. My mom and I are not Korean and we are treated with respect and professionalism.
Dr.Chang listens to all of our concerns and is very thorough in trying to find a solution to medical issues. He thoroughly discusses options and results. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. He is a very professional, compassionate, Christian, and highly intelligent doctor.

Receptionists/nurses were friendly and helpful and doctor was above amazing. You could tell he honestly cares for you and spends the time to talk about your symptoms and help you out. Doctors I’ve been to before are in and out after ten minutes but he genuinely cared and helped so much and explained everything. Would 100% go back and recommend to all my friends.

My family recently moved here from Michigan and I needed to find a Doctor for my parents. We were referred to Dr. Chang. The receptionists and nurses were extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Chang was very courteous and professional towards my parents. We are Blessed to have found Dr. Chang. We will recommend Dr. Chang to everyone.

Great staff. They are fluent in English and Korean. Very helpful, very courteous, it's not always a happy place when you have to go to the doc, but they make great. Doc is wonderful, he takes his time with you. Doesn't run his patients thru like Cattle!

Great guy and great doctor. Very personable and friendly and kind.

The front desk receptionist is simply put, rude. Her attitude, tone of voice, and just the way she responds to a patient's questions makes it seem like we are all annoying her. Its my FIRST TIME coming! How am i supposed to know these things! I couldn't even get to the doctor because i got fed up and just left. If you can get past the first obstacle to get to the doctor, good for you and I'm sure Dr. Chang is fantastic; but for me, I am a stickler for first impressions and this one wasted 2 hours of my day.

My family has went to Dr Chang for over 20 yrs my parent's, myself and grandmother. He was a good Dr don't go here if you want to be treated like a humane to see you treat your own people RUDE shame on you the receptionist rude my parent's in there 70's my dad past away with old timer's but he always defended Chang. To be told Dr Chang is going to not be a Doctor anymore Shame on all of you.May God be your judge .At one time he was a good doctor all of you do this to older people how could you.

Why the hell do the employees, especially the nurses, give an attitude towards their patients? I just overhead one of them talking to my mother who is not very fluent in english. However the employee on the phone (specifically talking about the hispanic worker) talk with such an attitude toward my mother. Have some respect and patience. No patient deserves to be spoken to like that. And also, this clinic is slow to call back for appointments. I was also told of another story of them being rude to my mother but that is another long story I'll set aside for now. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE

I wish I could give them zero star. Two thumbs DOWN! The staffs (esp. the nurse) are very arrogant and the doctor deceives patients. Avoid this place at all costs. Now I can understand why people did not recommend this doctor.

I really want to give zero star on this place. The staffs and the manager here are so rude to old people. I guess they've never been tought to respect elderly. You have no right to raise your voice to elderly or slamming the door when you are done talk!!!!!!
Please learn how to respect your patients first.

Shame on the doctor and his staffs. You could be rude and disrespectful to anyone but not to people who are old and sick. Don’t put money before people’s health. What kind people over charge patients who are old and dspeak English. You all are the worst kind ever

Very terrible doctor. I agree with Hana Lee. Doctor deceive people. You need to go somewhere else.
