Wanted to try something new. I was shocked to find this delicious restaurant. Haven't really heard any buzz about it but it is amazing! Came back a second time 2 days later. The food is unbelievable! It is so fresh and so consistently flavourful. We started with Tequeno. Never had them before and I'm addicted. Nice flaky bread wrapped around melted gooey cheese. So decadent. Then we shared a trip it was shredded chicken/avocado, pork, chicken with a corn pancake with cheese. So rich and filling it was heaven. Also tried a Arapes my goodness I love the freshness. Everything is just so fresh out of the oven perfect. The ladies were so nice and helped guide us in picking things out. I highly recommend bringing friends and everyone get a different dish then share. So many wonderful tastes to explore here.
I will be coming back many times in the near future. I probably should up my gym time to offset the calories.

BEST AREPA PLACE AROUND

I have tried various arepa places and I always find myself comparing them to Hola Cafe arepas. I'm Mexican and I am fairly new to the Venezuelan cuisine, but Hola Cafe has cemented my admiration for Arepas. I highly recommend this place.

Only downside... It's around $10 for a decent sized arepa. Kinda pricey but these are the only ones I don't mind paying the price for...

Their Pelua Arepa (Beef) is my all time favorite and ask for the spicy red salsa for a kick. 👌🏽

I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to this Venezuelan gem, Hola Cafe, last night. I had a wonderful high-value meal, full of flavor at a very reasonable price.

We had the Cachapa Trio and the Cachapa Cochino. Both were pork dishes that came with a fantastic looking cornmeal pancake folded over with a cheese sauce stuffing and garnished with cheese. It could have passed in appearance as a desert.

The Cochino is fried pork and the flavor is sure to please. The portion was generous. Almost shareable.

The Trio was enough for a dinner and lunch the next day. While all pork options on the trio were very good, the Avacado Pork (served cold like chicken salad) was my favorite.

Our server was very competent and friendly. She was able to accommodate our quirks despite my failings with the Spanish language.

Highly recommended!

First time visiting this Venezuelan cafe, i have a lot of Venezuelan friends so i wanted to try this place. I visited during lunch and they have some sort of lunch special, soup and main dish like grilled chicken, beef stew, shredded chicken (pollo mechado) , shredded beef(carne mechada), all of them are served with a choice of white rice, boiled potatoes, beans, salad.
The arepas were good just like my friends make them. During lunch you picked your food and either seat or take it home(self serve) but some waiters handle you the sodas. Looking forward to a visit after 4pm when they have the a la carte service. They just barely opened. The cashier told me yesterday. The cashier was very kind and answer some of my questions and some of the servers stopped by the table to ask if we need it anything else.

The pan de jamón didn’t make the cut (ate it too fast). The rest of the plate followed suit. Fully recommend I’ve tried others and it doesn’t taste the same, this is the ONE.

First time trying Venezuelan food and we are very impressed. We tried the Arepas, Tequenos, Fried Yuca, and the Cachapa, and loved every bite! Service was great, and very attentive. We were too full to try the desserts, but that gives us the excuse to come back again later!

This was my first time eating Venezuelan food and it was amazing. The server was nice to us even though we didn’t speak much Spanish. The pabellón was great. The one thing I wish is that they had more tables outside with COVID going on and all.

My mother in law LIVES at this place when she’s in town. She grew up in Venezuela, and she knows quality food after living there for decades.

And for good reason. This Venezuelan restaurant does a superb job. Every time. Great food, great service, and great hospitality all the way around.

My wife is from Venezuela and this gave her a taste of home. Best Venezuelan food we've had in Texas. Empanadas and cachapa trio were great. Good service. Will be back next time we're in the area.
