Fort Bend County Tax Assessor - Sugar Land Office

I visit this place every year for my car tag renewal. Staff are nice and friendly and knowledgeable. I finish my work as usual smoothly without any problems. It is only for Fort Bend County cars. And you will be charged more if you pay with credit. You do not need the letter or anything, just the inspection paper and print a ticket when you arrive. There is no need for an appointment. The parking lot is big.

Come here every yr for renewal . Literally was 5 min in and out . The staff is great .🫡

I am so impressed at the speedy & thorough service. Jemill at window #2 took care of us the first time we visited. BIANCA wonderfully took care of us on our 9/2019 visit. It took all of 5 minutes to get things done. Wow! The location is easy to get to via Hwy. 90 & Dairy Ashford. The building is at the end of the court. The office is comfortable with plenty of seating provided. There’s a touch screen monitor that prints your number; two TV monitors display the ticket number, plus it is also announced. There’s ample parking. This is overall the speediest and most pleasant experience I’ve ever had dealing with vehicle registration renewal.

Definitely one of the faster tax offices to get through. Once you come in, go to the wall mounted PC and select the services you need. It prints you a letter and number A through F with a corresponding number sequence. I have never waited here over 30 minutes. I drive from Missouri City to this location due to the service.

Car title transfer & renew done in less than 15 minutes. Including wait time, I was the 4th person. Friendly staff. No need for appointment.

Diana helped me today 3/27/2023 with ticket D1006. I’m applaud her for her professionalism. You can tell that this isn’t just a job for her. She’s educated on her topics and she is there to serve and help the citizens any way possible!! I’ll forever come to this location not matter where I’m located! Nice to come to an office that’s for the people and not against them!

Went to get my sticker registration renewal and was in and out !!! Best coustomer service pretty nice and clean office ...Reccomend this place !!!!

I have been coming here twice a year every year for the past 5 years to renew my vehicle registration for each of my 2 cars. It is always speedy and very efficient. I have not used this office for any other service so I cannot comment on other services but I was compelled to put a review today. I usually am in and out in about 30 mins but today was exceptionally excellent. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes which was a record. Very well organized. The staff at the entrance were very careful about COVID-19 protocols and the lady at counter #5 was super quick and very polite. She knew exactly what she was doing. Although we can renew our registrations online, I have always liked coming in person instead of having to wait for the sticker in the mail as they give the new sticker immediately.

If an FB county official is reading this review, staff at this office deserve a raise.

I came here to register a new motorcycle title. I came here on a Friday early afternoon. Wait time of about 5 minutes total. The representative who helped me was super nice to me and processed my paperwork in less than 10 minutes. Great service. I got my title in the mail in about 2 weeks. I will have to go back next week because I bought another vehicle, hoping for the same experience.

Just moved from out of state had to get my plates from Texas. I went her to this location because it was really close to me by far the best and fastes survive I ever had I didn’t even get a chance to sit down when my number was called when I walked up to the clerk there he greeted me and asked for all my paperwork i handed everything over and I was i walked out with new plates and my registration in about 15 mins the gentlemen Jamill was very nice, professional, and fast he didn’t give a attitude like other people at different location do. Over all very satisfied with coming to this location and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here

From the whole Houston is the only place I love because they are nice and quick. They don’t treat you rude like the most of the places.
I have 4 years here and I come to get my tags here all the time. It takes me more time at the inspection place than here.

For all services courthouse can do, this is the location to go to. I went to renew my vehicle registration for April. Walked in, pulled for number ticket, sat for a minute (literally) and was called to desk. The clerk took my inspection paper and in less than 5 min, i was paid in full and received my registration sticker. They are so quick and nice here!

Came on Aug 14th, Wednesday at 1.45pm to get a replacement registration windshield sticker. A dozen people were waiting inside. I got my sticker and was out by 2.10pm. Clerk was very polite. Not sure if it was emptier than usual because it was the first day of school for the ISD.. but I'm not complaining.

I didn't know this location existed, 5 minutes away from Home. Yessssssss.This place is amazing. Very Welcoming, Very Friendly Reps, and Very Fast. You'll be in and out like The Flash. :) Very Happy with the Service I received. Thanks.

I been to many places to get my regiatration and this one is by far the best! Your in and out in about 15 to 20 min, if theres not much people even faster. The people there are so helpfull and dont give you attitude like most places do, i recomend them if your in a hurry, or dont want to waste a lot of your time.

This Fort Bend County Tax Assessor Annex is one of the most efficiently-run offices I’ve experienced. I don’t dread coming to this office to get my automotive paperwork done. Harris County should observe this office, take notes and implement in their offices!
