The food was amazing but the service was horrible. We are from out of town and heard so many good things about Kelley’s and could wait to eat here. But the service was something else. 1st when the waiter was taking out order another waiter walked right up to him as we had taking out order and very rudely started tell him something about other tables he was help taking care of cause someone had gone to lunch. But she made it a point to interrupt while taking our order to belittle him and then she walked away. I was placing my order then he moved on to my sister and he called completely blew her off then when I asked if I could add a house salad he walk away from us. I know he heard me was he looked at me. WONT BE GOING BACK. Like I said food was absolutely delicious but the service and management sucked. I’m very disappointed

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kelly's Country Cooking for breakfast, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the warm and inviting atmosphere to the delicious southern comfort food, our experience at Kelly's was truly memorable. What truly set Kelly's Country Cooking apart, aside from the mouthwatering food, was the friendly and attentive staff. Our server was courteous and attentive, making sure our coffee cups were never empty and that we had everything we needed. The rustic decor and cozy ambiance immediately set the tone for a comforting and enjoyable meal. The restaurant had a pleasant, down-home feel that instantly put us at ease. The pancakes were fluffy and golden, the biscuits were warm and flaky, and the grits were creamy and rich. To accompany our meal, we all enjoyed a steaming cup of coffee and refreshing orange juice. Our breakfast experience at Kelly's Country Cooking was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of delicious, homestyle food, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service made it a morning to remember.

My first time ever at a Kelley's Country Kitchen and it was great. The waitress was kind, energetic, helpful, even came over to make sure we had everything we needed on a regular basis. She went out of her way to bring me bread and cornbread so I could try and sample both. The rolls were extra soft and the cornbread wasn't the best but it was for sure good. The special K burger was by far the biggest burger I've ever had in my life. I of course got it with extra pickles, bacon, and cheese. Their barbecue sauce was better than most places to me. So good in fact I got extra. I was only able to eat the cornbread, half the massive burger, some fries, and try the roll. Had so much left it took 2 containers to bring home after getting full. If you like massive juicy mouth watering burgers you got to try their Special K burger. Odds are you won't be able to finish it unless as my brother said you're a defensive lineman or something lol. I'll definitely be back to try their other foods.

This place never disappoints for an awesome good old country meal. The prices and the portions are great some your average “Texas sized” meals that you can’t really finish. Service has always been great here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Depending on the day it can be very busy so pack your patience but it will be well worth it.

I've been to this location many times but never wrote a review. I just just speaking to my friend about how customer service seems extinct, but tonight's dinning experienced renewed my hope. Every person who came to my table showed extraordinary customer service. Our waiter was Robert C, even while training a new waiter he was impeccable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food was timely, and delicious and the place was clean. I was overwhelmed with the wonderful service, so much so that I asked for the manager to compliment him on his staff and in setting a great atmosphere. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.

We had a nice breakfast on Saturday morning at Kelley's! My son said the chicken & waffles were very tasty! My daughter enjoyed the toast smoothed in sausage and gravy. My grits, eggs and bacon were good; however, my grilled biscuit was very dense! Your hostess on duty and waitress was exceptional! Thank you all for a delightful morning with my family and I didn't have to cook!

We ate at Kelley's Country Cookin' in Meadows Place, Texas. The food was awesome and the servings were huge and priced well.
Mandy B was our server and while she was busy, she was very attentive. The only complaint my husband and I had was regarding the young man who seated us. He wore his hoodie on his head the entire time AND his pants were sagging with his underwear showing and his rear end hanging out. This is not what we expected to see in a place of business. Aside from that we had a great experience and will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Kelley's is always our go-to when we want breakfast, but don't get out of the house until lunchtime. The portions are generous, and food is always on point. While the location could benefit from a makeover and some updates, their old school vibe doesn't affect the food quality. I ordered a 3 egg omelet with all the meats that came with hashbrowns and toast. It did not disappoint!

Our server was phenomenal, he was friendly, funny and fast.
The food was amazing, of course I went with the Texas Size Chicken Fried Steak. Highly recommend. Wear your stretchy pants.

I've heard about this place for years, but this was my first visit. It definitely won't be my last!
.
Come in and seat yourself. There are plenty of tables... this place is large. Soon a waitress will arrive to take your drink order and leave a menu.
.
Update: they have now built a partition to divide the main dining room. Half is closed, and opened Saturday and Sunday. The result is a cozier space.
.
Like a lot of diners, there are far too many choices. I decided on the corned beef hash, my favorite and a good way to judge the quality. This comes with hashbrowns, two eggs, and dinner bread. I decided right away on the biscuit and gravy, and asked that my hashbrowns be well done (crispy). I also picked sunny side eggs.
.
The very large biscuit with gravy came first, soon followed by the rest. The gravy needed pepper, the hash browns needed salt, the rest was great.
.
The food was well prepared and delicious. I really cannot fault anything with this experience. Even the bill arrived promptly.
.
It was my first time here but certainly will not be my last.

A nice clean place to grab some southern cooking! The chicken fried steak was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The three sides that came with it are nice also. Their breakfast platters are also large enough and theres enough food to take home and or share with others at your table. They also have nice fried pickles here that comes with ranch. Just probably avoid Sundays around lunch time because that’s when the church crowd comes.

First time - was craving simple, homestyle food. Not disappointed. Overall it was delicious.

The chicken fried steak was good, decent size on the daily special (I think you can order a larger one). Mine was probably fried a little longer than it needed to be - so extra crunchy.

Mashed potatoes were good - could have been a little more warm.

Spinach was decent - but nothing extra special.

The real star were the black eyed peas - almost like the ones my grandmother made!

Hit the spot for a “home cooked” meal.

We tend to frequent Kelly's for breakfast. The chicken fried steak is delicious. Pancakes are enormous. There is a little for everyone.

I love good ol’ country cooking as if I was in my grandmothers kitchen. When I walked in, the sign said seat yourself. I found a nice booth by the window. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The waitress was nice and knew the menu very well. I ordered the Kelley’s Grand Slam Breakfast. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken with 3 eggs over medium, hash browns, grits and I ordered 1 buttermilk pancake. (I wanted to taste the pancake) I have nothing found not one place that tops Cracker Barrel pancakes. I didn’t care for the pancake but the rest of the food was delicious. The chicken was fresh and breading was crispy. The hash browns were not super thin or too thick, they were just right. The grits were not watered down either although I had to add a pinch of salt along with butter and sugar. I’m the one who loves their grits with sugar and butter… yes I know but it’s how I grew up eating them. The food here was soooooooo good!! This is my new breakfast spot!!!

This place had amazing portions of some of the best comfort foods around. The rolls and cornbread were amazing starters. The facility is big and clean. I would recommend this over and over.

This place is just great! Everything I’ve order has been really good with no issues as far as missing items, or wrong orders. I tend to get whatever is on special that day so the amount of food I get for the price is well worth it. If you’re looking for a down home family vibe with good food and even greater portions then this is the place for you!

Definitely bring your appetite because the portions are not on the small side....u won't leave hungry. I have eaten breakfast ( 1 pancake, 2 eggs, and 3 slices of bacon) cooked nicely to my taste. On another day,I had their liver, mashed potatoes and onions, and green beans for lunch/ dinner. Didn't have another meal until the next day. Definitely recommend dining here 👌🏾
