I cannot say enough good things about the care at this clinic! My cat was referred by our vet so we went through emergency/critical care. She had the absolute best care from Dr. Troendle and Dr. Martin. She has a very unusual infection that they found through abdominal ultrasound and other diagnostics. I honestly didn't think my cat would make it through the weekend, but now she almost completely back to normal. They are definitely pricey, but the care is worth every penny.

We have been coming here since 2012. First visits were with Stickers before he passed. We come here now with his brother Cheddars. The staff & Dr. Munger are incredibly kind and compassionate. It’s sometimes hard to find providers in our area, that don’t primarily focus on dogs or horses. Cheddars loves the staff, & I always feel comfortable & relieved after being here.

I just wanted to personally thank Dr. Jesse Dawson for her compassion, kindness, and expertise during a difficult time. Some people are put on earth for a purpose, and Dr. Dawson is definitely one of those people. She is everything you could ever ask for in this line of work. It was a tough visit, but as soon as we left I turned to my partner and we agreed "she was meant to be a vet". Thank you so, so much. You have left such an impression on our hearts.

Our experience at ADC was top notch. We brought our cat Drew because she had a mass on one of her lung lobes and we were seeing Dr. Lopez, one of the oncologists. I was so nervous and anxious, but we received great care. They took radiographs, an abdominal ultrasound and a CT scan, and eventually surgery with DVSC. Dr. Lopez was so kind and understanding through all of the diagnostics and she explained everything very well and answered all of my follow up questions even through email. She is the best. The entire staff was amazing. The technicians, the front desk staff, everyone understood the emotions that I was feeling with our cat and they handled everything very professionally. Dr. Porterpan took care of her after surgery and she communicated with me every step of the way in her progress and while she was hospitalized. Our Drew does not have cancer, so we will be following up with an internal medicine specialist also here at ADC and I know that she is going to receive the best care. I am so grateful for the staff here at ADC and I cannot recommend them enough.

Words are powerless to express my gratitude towards the oncology department. Every single individual working at this location has been nothing less than wonderful - Jamie Curtis, Nathaniel Vos, the vet techs, etc. should be recognized. You can imagine the distress and fear as a mom of a fur baby with cancer/multiple tumors; however, my nerves were calmed every time I spoke with one of the employees. This was not due to them sugar coating or trying to make the situation seem less severe.. it was solely because I know my dog was taken care of, loved, and treated as aggressively as possible. 10/10 recommend sending your pets to this oncology department.

Great staff. Although the outcome for my baby wasn't what I wanted to hear, overall we felt very welcomed. Diesels vet tech Nicole was AWESOME! We went for treatment but wasn't an option after xrays.

Everyone was so sweet and caring. It was a really tough visit. I already knew that there wasn’t much we could do for my Sunny “Shadow”. Even when I went to get her ashes the receptionist came out and gave me a hug. Everyone was so caring and supportive.

Dr. Waters was amazing to me and my pup. After a harsh diagnosis of an esophageal stricture, I felt this was the best place for my dog to receive her treatments for a possibility of a somewhat normal life. Dr. Waters was honest with us the entire time. After 3 treatments, we mutually decided it was taking a toll on my girl and it wasn't in her best interest to do any more. Although she may never be completely normal, her treatment has helped some. I would highly recommend Dr. Waters and her treatment techs. The receptionist were not super friendly or respectful. I spent a lot of money at this clinic and as a receptionist at an animal hospital myself, I expect more than that. This can be a very stressful time for the pet and their owners. Honestly if that's all I have to complain about, I would highly recommend this place!!

I am very happy with the level of care my cat, Gibbous, has received. Dr. Porterpan is kind and compassionate. She called me every day with an update on my cat. I could tell she really cared about Gibbous and his well being. All of the vet technicians are amazing. Everyone I met was gentle with Gibbous and friendly to me. The front staff is friendly and very helpful with all of my questions. I am grateful to everyone who works here. Thank you all so much for helping Gibbous on his road to recovery.

These guys were recommended to find a more difficult diagnosis. Doggy had a procedure, and then they set me up with a good plan to return to my usual vet with.

Our dogs got into some rat poison and were very sick. Dr. Portepan and every single person at this clinic was amazing and saved our dogs. They could not have been more compassionate, responsive and overall kind. They gave me updates over several days and let us visit. I can not say enough good things about this hospital. The staff is amazing! Thank you!

We are so very fortunate to have this specialty clinic here in Dallas.
We can’t say enough kind words about the oncology department. It’s not a place you want to have to go to with your pet but when our sweet English shepherd had nasal cancer we were so blessed to have the expertise of Dr. Custis and his staff to guide us thru this very sad time. We will be forever grateful to everyone from Dr. Custis and his staff to the receptionists.

Most grateful,
Mark and Judy Spivey

Dr. Wright, an Oncologist at the diagnostic center will always be my go to vet for any questions I have regarding out of the ordinary symptoms my pets may experience. He is thorough, clear in explaining and answering questions and has the best advice I've experienced in many years with my dogs. He will direct you to the best diagnostics the entire clinic offers which is quite comprehensive. Has knowledge of animal immunology beyond cancer treatment and will recommend compatible and a variety of options for your pet. His honesty and empathy is beyond my expectations through years of experience. He was highly recommended by the veterinarians at Texas A&M University Veterinary Hospital. I'm writing this review after a second visit with my 'Love of my Life' dog Gus, who has terminal cancer. Dr wright offered the best advice and treatments I could find and how and where to look for answers along with truly kind reassurance that is hard to find from medical professionals. I have worked in Hospitals for almost twenty years. Thank you Dr. Wright

They are so caring and knowledgeable. Communication with us is amazing! We had never left out furbaby overnight anywhere. They made us feel comfortable and because of the exceptional communication. We were at ease about the care she was getting around the clock.

Exceptional Care, Expert Staff

Our 9-year-old Dachshund mix, Cody, underwent chemotherapy at VCA Animal Diagnostic Clinic for an anal gland adenocarcinoma. In January, our primary veterinarian referred us to Dr. Roof & Dr. Wright. Upon diagnosis, we were told it was a rare and aggressive form of cancer. We had no idea what to expect during course of treatment. I'm happy to report that as of today, Cody has undergone 5 chemotherapy sessions under the care of VCA's Oncology Team with no sign of regrowth. We'll continue to visit the clinic to monitor Cody's recovery with periodic ultrasounds. Cody says "Thank You" to Dr. Wright, Dr. Roof & Oncology Staff at Animal Diagnostic Clinic for your care and compassion! He's proud of his new bandana and little presents sent home on his last day of chemo. We're thrilled that he is happy and healthy. We're so grateful for the support and level of attention received over the past four months.

The Oncology and Critical Care departments were great to interact with over the last few months. They were empathetic and realistic about Bella's condition. The surgery, aftercare, medications, Bella's overnight stays, et cetera were handled professionally and with compassion toward her and me. The bereavement card signed by Doctors Custis and Aslanian, Andrew, Maddie, Leigh Ann, and Julie was touching and unexpected.

We had Dr. Cecilia Lopez for my pup's lymphoma and she was everything you could hope for in a doctor. She was thorough, respectable, and kind. But what I really loved about her was the weekly medical records she sent detailing everything that went on with my dog during chemo. My pup, Molly, had to have ultrasounds done in addition to chemo and everything from the size of her masses to her blood results was sent to me each week. I have since moved to another state with a new VCA and they do not provide this thorough information, even upon request. It was also so easy to contact Dr. Lopez if I needed anything. A quick email and she always responded promptly and put my mind at ease. My dog did very well during chemo for the entire 20 weeks and started to seem like her old self again. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Lopez and the staff at this VCA for giving our family hope and extra quality time with our precious baby. Thank you guys for everything you do.

Dr. Stiller was absolutely amazing. She listened to every detail about my dog and did a great comprehensive exam on him. She is very compassionate and caring. She was kind enough to text the ophthalmologist next door to see if he could swing by and see my dog in the same visit. You can’t go wrong in placing your loved one in her care. Also, Fatima, the tech was very sweet and patient. They were a great team!

I refer patients here all the time because of of the experience I had here with my personal dog. My Misha had extremely aggressive GI cancer in fall/winter of 2016. He presented with bloody diarrhea at a Dallas ER at the end of November 2016, they did an ultrasound, they saw a mass or potentially enlarged spleen. ADC confirmed there were several masses with their ultrasound and I had them removed at ADC as well. He was so young (around 4 years), I just wanted more time. Unfortunately, the cancer was absolutely everywhere and while he did amazing post op for a couple weeks, his belly filled with fluid. He ended up back at ADC for monitoring with the intent of him coming back home until it was his time. His doctor called me bawling in the wee hours of the morning of December 23rd, 2016, letting me know that he was gone. I will never forget that because it showed how much she cared and I will never forget the way their staff took care of him AND me. The night before I lost him, I came to visit and the techs sent me home with a chocolate cupcake. They let me spend a good 2-3 hours saying goodbye to him.

I think about those doctors and Misha’s techs all the time. They took such good care of my baby boy, I can’t even begin to express my gratitude.

You guys are everything vet med should always be.

Dr. Stiller is absolutely amazing! During our first visit she took the time to not only go over my vets letter as well as getting information from me and addressing my concerns. You can definitely tell she has a true passion for caring for animals. She explained both surgeries she would perform on momma kitty. The day of surgery she kept me informed every step of the way(I was honestly blown away that she made every phone call indeed instead of a vet tech) when momma kitty had a complication at the end of surgery Dr Stiller was very concerned with her well being and did an amazing job getting my baby back to her sweet self. The next day she called again to give me a report of how momma kitty did overnight and that morning. DR STILLER IS AMAZING AND COMPASSIONATE, EVERY VET SHOULD BE LIKE HER
