Dr Maxwell at north tollway pet hospital is great. He has been doing this a long time. You can tell. Most vets in modern day find ways to charge you more. Dr. Maxwell has simple, cheap solutions for most things. I was actually surprised with the reasonable price. My one dog had a tumor anywhere else surgery would be the main option, Dr. Maxwell said let's wait and see if it gets worse. He's an old pup, avoid unnecessary pain if possible. Great place..

My fur baby broke his foot, I called next day and they got me in right away. Front desk was very kind. Tech and vet were super sweet and explained everything (including prices) thoroughly. They treated my baby like one of their own and were very gentle with him. Will for sure be making this our new vet.

I would absolutely recommend their grooming! Phyllis was amazing to work with, being so gentle and sweet to my elderly long haired cat. I am so glad I met her!

Dr. Maxwell and the whole staff at North Tollway Pet Hospital are awesome! We've been taking our two black labs there for 12 years. They really care about the pets they treat. Recently our 12 yo lab had surgery and wasn't feeling well a week post surgery. Dr Maxwell met us after hours on a Saturday, on his way out of town, to give us meds for him. He also sent follow up texts to check on him. I 100% recommend them to anyone who needs a vet.

I have been taking my cat Dillon, there for about 2 years (she is only 3), and they are always professional, prompt and friendly.

I’ve been to a lot of vet clinic and hospitals the last 11 years of owning my pets. I’ve met great ones, awful ones and ones who left no impression. I had an amazing vet but unfortunately I moved states and I’ve had to find a new one. It’s hard to find a place you feel comfortable and one that truly cares about you and your pet. Recently I adopted a 5 month old puppy from the Dallas shelter and she’s under socialized. I took her to one vet clinic and they had us waiting 45 minutes in the heat after our appointment time. That’s not the experience I was willing to introduce to my new pup for the vet. I called several places and they didn’t seem interested in trying to partner with me to help my nervous puppy have a good first vet experience. I went to another nearby vet and they barely examined her. They didn’t do a hands on check up at all. Today I went to north tollway pet hospital and not only did they inform me that she wasn’t fully vaccinated that the others didn’t but also had a full exam where the doctor even moved her limbs. They were all understanding to her nervous energy and didn’t try to push it. They went slow and several came over after to try and say hi. I never go off of a single visit. So I’m looking forward to going back for her boosters to see how it goes.

I moved to Dallas in October from North Carolina with my two dogs. My 16 year old Dachshund Dewey ( who happened to be in a wheelchair due to being paralyzed in his hind legs) and my 6 year old Chorkie Roxxy. Dewey has had a runny nose for the past week and last night he started coughing and breathing very heavy. I woke up this morning to him panting very badly so I called the vet and made an appt. They got me in the same day. Unfortunately.. on the way to the vet... Dewey stopped breathing in my lap and had passed away before we got to the clinic. I say all that to say this.. the moment I walked in the door carrying my dead best friend of 16 years the staff was so sweet and made sure that I was ok! I was a mess crying but they went out of their way to try to comfort me! I took him to the vet for a possible cold and ended up having to make cremation plans. Hardest day I've had in a very long time. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for treating my baby and myself with such respect! They even gave me the new patient discount even though they weren't able to treat him before his passing! I will most definitely be bringing my Chorkie to this clinic in the future! Thanks again for everything!

Phyllis always gives our girls a wonderful groom. She is a very loving gentle woman and takes special care with our 16 year old.

Amazing! My dog was a stray so he had a LOT of excess hair and his nails were incredibly long. They did such a great job with him that I didn’t even recognize him when I picked him up (in a good way)! They did exactly what I asked and my pet was happy when I picked him up. Worth every penny.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and vet. They made my visit with my 2 cats George and Mylo more enjoyable, easy, and quick. Thank You.

I have not used the hospital or their services as of yet. I was looking for a last minute cat groomer. Everyone was either full, no cat services/groomers or did not contact me back. I believe she said Delis is her name. If not my apologies i cant remember. But anyway, she is a cat groomer at this pet hospital and she took time out her booked schedule too give me advice, tips and tricks and product recommendations to help me do it myself. I got more "willing to help" over the phone from her then I have gotten from any other business via phone or standing in their establishment. She let me ask questions and she had no issues answering. Even said call back if i need more help. Top tier customer service that I have received in quite some time. Thank you ma'am for your assistance. It was well received with gratitude.

This hospital has shown so much compassion and care to my pets. I feel so grateful for how the staff had gracefully dealt with the death of my cat and how much they pay attention to my dog. For example, my dog had some stomach issues and the vet personally called me days later to check in on him. Truly goes above and beyond!

Appointment on short notice for my dwarf hamster went great! All staff members were so kind and friendly. They took care of Hammy quickly and the cost was lower than expected. Highly recommend.

Kim, Shelby and the vets and staff at North Tollway Pet Hospital are awesome. They did an awesome job of taking care of Geraldine from puppy to rainbow bridge. They are doing the same now with Elva Mae. Great job ya'll.

Dr. McGuire is amazing. We’ve taken our chameleon to him twice, and he has been fantastic. Compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. I just can’t say enough good things about him. If you need a reptile vet, he’s the best! The prices are unbelievably reasonable as well.

I took my German Shephard for his appointment today as a new patient and I am so happy to have found this vet. Every single staff member was so awesome and nice. You can tell they truly care about their patients and love animals. Highly recommend.
