Very nice reel. Looks amazing. Could be a little better about updating customer within a few days or even a week about the status of the order, but very responsive to emails. Thank you guys for a great reel and putting up with my emails.

Sixgill makes fantastic rods and reels! I have had many different brands with varying price points, Sixgill competes very well with all of them. In fact Sixgill makes the only baitcasting reel (Hamarr) that I feel very comfortable that it won’t backlash. I was so comfortable I was able to teach my 8yo son to use it without backlashing, and he has limited experience with a spinning reel.

They also have a technique specific lineup of rods that make it very easy to shop based on how you want to fish. You want to jig fish, they have a rod for that. You want to crank, they have a rod for that. And more! The hardest part of picking a rod is figuring out how many rods you WANT to buy!

They have sales from time to time that you could get a good deal on, that’s how I got 6 rods and reels in very short order.

Very please with all the products I have purchased. I have 7 different reels and 9 different rod types, all serve purpose and offer great quality and value.

I have had a few minor issues, even one being my own fault, but customer service was easy to work with and helped resolve my issue with no problem. The issue that was Self made was resolved with a small replacement fee and quickly shipped to my house.

SixGill fishing products are well made and have stood the test of time as I’ve been using them for 5 years now. The rods are sensitive, but strong and the reels have been great. The best part is the incredible customer service. They have always been eager to help my needs and any issues I have had have been taken care of promptly and thoroughly. My daughter broke one pole while setting the hook (on a tree) and I have had three reels (in 5 years) that have needed some service and all of those were replaced within two weeks when I followed the return procedures.

Being a full time guide my gear takes a beating from clients, the salt and even the fish. My Sixgill rods have taken a beating yet still ask for more. Every week clients inquire about getting Sixgill rods after a day of fishing with them. They love how much power comes from a lightweight balanced rod. Definitely give them a try and it won’t be long before it’s all you fish with.

I’ve been using their rods and reels for 6 years now in fresh and saltwater and have yet had one let me down!! I probably fish around 200 days a year so that says a lot about the quality of the gear. 10/10 recommend!

Sixgill fishing products 100% stands behind their product. If anything happens during shipping, theyll do what they can to get you out a rod, if it breaks and it appears it was caused by a defect, theyll stand behind the product. If you break it, they have a warranty program you can use to get replace the same rod for cheaper. They are starting to move their manufacturing over to the US with the series 6. Overall this company is 5 stars!

As growing small company SixGill is here to Compete with the biggest names. I’ve had several big names brand reels and SixGills reels top them. The Hamarr is incredible, I wish this was in my life a lot earlier then it was. The new Arrival is just flawless. Even the The cheapest reel they carry the Karve; to me,tops the Pflueger President. I use the Karve more than any other reel. They also carry
Great rods. The creature and Cypress are work horses and great utility rods. I love their technique specific rods. Between the Heimdal, Kraken, and chopper you can’t go wrong. On top of everything their customer service has been top notch with answering questions, repairs, or help with mail damages. They have always answered any product questions promptly and been very knowledgeable and kind.

I recently purchased a couple rods online and had a problem with getting the BOGO deal. So when I received my pkg I only had one rod.
