APEX Roofing

I always thought of myself lucky to not have roof damage with all the hail we receive in Georgetown (east of IH-35). But my luck ran out. Didn't notice anything amiss until I went into the spare bedroom, flicked on the light, and saw yellow. I looked at the light fixture, and it was full of water!!! There were water stains going all the way across the bedroom, even outlining the A/C register. Never having dealt with such, I started to panic. I telephoned my insurance carrier first to get guidance. After speaking with them (and answering a million + one questions) I started contacting roofing companies. Yelp was my first step. I wrote down the name of 3 companies and started phoning. APEX Roofing in Georgetown was my first call. They came out the next day and went on the roof and also in the attic. They took pictures so I could see. The culprit was a solar panel component that was no longer sealed, thus my roof leaked, dripped onto the ceiling's drywall, and into the light fixture.

The 2nd company came out same day but did not go on the roof, nor did they enter my attic. They strictly relied on pictures from a drone. (I wasn't impressed with the lack of hands-on).

The 3rd company, well, I didn't give them a chance. I cancelled because of the professionalism and hands-on inspection received from APEX Roofing.

They were present when the insurance adjuster made a full inspection. After receiving word from insurance to proceed with repairs, I signed on with APEX. APEX took on the role of contractor & sub-contractor. They arranged for the solar panel company to remove the panels so a new roof could be installed (higher quality architectural shingles providing me with an insurance discount). An Attic Breeze solar attic ventilator was also installed. (Come on Summer 2024!! I'm ready!!)

APEX arranged for the bedroom ceiling to be restored and painted to pre-damage specs. APEX arranged for the fenced backyard to be pressure-washed to remove all signs of hail strikes and re-stained. Gutters spouts were replaced. Then APEX scheduled the re-install of the solar panels (with the company I purchased the panels from).

All work was done per insurance claim/quote and then-some. You can't place a price on professionalism, quality-of-work, positive attitude, and smiles.

Apex roofing did a great job for us. John Bear handled our work from start to finish and could not have been more professional and helpful. He is just a great guy. Everything was done on time from the first assessment to the final cleanup. They handled the interface with the insurance company and made the project easy on us. Outstanding experience all around.

Project manager John Bear and his company Apex Roofing have done a wonderful job installing a new roof and gutters with gutter screens on my 21-year-old house whose last roof was installed in 2010. We installed a new roof then, and the last gutter job was in 2003. John made it easy for me. I met him one day and that same day he inspected my roof. He met the adjuster when he came to put the estimate together. I was not even present for that. We also got approved and attic breeze 45 watt solar fan which should make my attic much cooler and reduce my energy cost. Additionally, I will get a tax credit for the solar fan. I was only out of pocket for my $3000 deductible and 500 to upgrade to class 4 impact resistant shingle. I got the $34,000 roof for $3500. John was there the entire day the roof was installed. He checked everything very carefully throughout the process. I highly recommend Apex Roofing and John Bear. Five star all the way!

A neighbor near me recommended APEX Roofing. I had commented while I was on a walk how nice their roof looked after their job was completed. So glad I chose APEX for my roof replacement. My APEX specialist was Jonah Rivera; I could not have been more satisfied! Honesty, integrity, very knowledgeable about insurance procedures, a roofing expert, and of course his friendliness. Jonah was here onsite while most of the install took place. The crew was excellent, fast, and cleaned up well after the job. Contacted Apex roofing after the last big hailstorm here in Georgetown. Prompt response to our request for quote and competitively priced. Worked with Ricky Bravo, professional, courteous and responsive. Adam, Ricky, Mario and the APEX team on site worked rapidly, kept a clean worksite, paid attention to detail and did exactly what they said they would do every step of the way.

Jeff and Everett did a great job on a roof repair after the September hail storm and upgraded our roof flashing to block pests. Jeff came back the next morning to follow up on a small spot they missed. Great service and easy to work with. I will call Apex in the future.

It was a pleasure to work with Apex to do a full roof replacement after a hailstorm last year. Their quote was very competitive, and they listened to my wants regarding adjusting the attic ventilation in my 1960s era ranch home. They did the work in 2 phases. The main roof replacement went super fast, 1 day, and I did not find any roofing nails afterwards. They mistakenly took my gutter guards out, but made it right and put new ones on there in a follow-up. 2nd phase to adjust the attic ventilation and they worked well with me to make sure it was right. They even came to our house to pick up the final check. All in all great customer service and I will keep them in mind for the next time I need some roofing work done.

Apex is amazing!! Couldn't be happier with their work! They replaced 2 roofs for us, one shingle, the other metal, for hail damage. They both turned out absolutely beautiful! This is a roofing company we would hire again! What began as a tune up, shifted to full replacement after a hail storm. We have a large roof, and they completed the roofing in one day and gutters in one additional day. We had a need to skip one day in between and there were very accommodating. Garage door and window screen repairs were all coordinated by them. The care to our property was good and they placed a high quality shingle Certainteed on our house. We have worked with two other companies and this is the first we would rehire if needed. Ricky managed the project very well and their GM kept the communications open with us too.
