My husband got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and I decided on the Mother In Law's Meatloaf with broccoli. We could not believe how huge the portions were! Then we got the Chocolate Chess pie and Appalachian Bar. The pie was already good to begin with, but to add some of the ice cream from the Appalachian Bar was a chef's kiss! The App Bar was soooo good too! The only thing I wished for was my food to be a bit warmer. It was room temp, but I didn't ask for it to be reheated, so I take full accountability for that.

What's not to love? Great restaurant for family and friends. Excellent food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. I'm from San Antonio, and I've been wanting to visit this place and finally got the opportunity to take my family there. It's a gem in the middle of Liberty Hill. Beside great food, they have live music on Fridays and Saturdays after 6:30 pm. The ri prices are very reasonable and their menu has many options to choose from.

My friend and I came because we heard it's a great place to eat, especially the chicken fried steak. That's what we ordered, plus a piece of Chocolate Chess pie for her birthday. I was told that it was delicious and be sure and order a piece. It was as described, delicious! The staff were friendly , courteous, and the service was excellent! Love the coffee bags on the beams and the egg crates on the ceiling in the other dining room, to create a quiet and cozy dining experience. It was raining that day so we enjoyed looking out on the backyard from your huge garage door windows. Thanks for making my friend's birthday a wonderful experience! We are planning to return in the future for more delicious food and great service.

New Owners are doing a great job. Keep up the awesome food and service. Blueberry sausage for breakfast delicious. Cream or Jalapeño Gravy — yummy. Wow this place is the bomb. Food is so delicious. Wait staff go above and beyond even though we have a nationwide shortage for help. Keep up with the excellent food and your incredible team. Love the atmosphere.

Dahlia Cafe is su a nice place to eat, drink and hang out. We enjoyed a delicious brunch. We each had the Liberty Hill Breakfast Sandwich, mine minus the mayonnaise and bread. Their coffee is very tasty as well. I forgot to take pictures until we were already outside.

Always enjoy date night and Brunch at Dahlia. Always excellent service and food. The portions are pretty large too.

We took a trip with our friends and on the way back we were starving! We found this place on Google, it sounded so good. We saw the front of the building, and it did not have but a few cars. But, upon driving to the back, we realized that we were not alone at all, and that going there was NOT an original idea.

There were lots people waiting, and we were asked to wait about 30 minutes, but it took less time to be seated. There is a lot of antique tables, and chairs to eat or to wait outside, under the oak tree, that had given shade to lots of customers. They also have a children's playscape under the shade.

Our friends were delighted with the food they ordered. I had the French toast with powdered sugar, scrambled eggs, and blueberry sausage (made exclusively for their restaurant). I loved the French toast, and the blueberry sausage, but my eggs could have used some salt, which I added.

There is also a bakery. They make all kinds of pies, but, we bought the Butter Milk chess pie, which is hard to find in other bakeries.

This place has plenty of space to accommodate large parties. They also have a deck outside under the oak tree, if you wish to dine outdoors.

Great service!

Dahlia Cafe is a hill country gem. The food is the best in the county. Whatever you order, you can't go wrong.

I'd never been here before but was starving for a good meal because I've had the flu for the last few days. I called in the chicken fried steak with taters and spinach. Delivered to the car by a delightful young lady that loves miniature Aussies. Got home and pigged out and it was amazing!!! My Aussie got a bite too. I will be ordering again!

High-fives all around for this joint, earning a solid five stars thanks to some seriously zippy service (like, did they have a food teleporter or something?).

Me: "Can I get a chicken fried chicken?"
Waiter: "Yea its on the table already. Careful its hot"

And let's talk about the prices – they're practically doing a happy dance ignoring all inflationary adjustments over the last five years, matched with portion sizes that'll have you thinking you stumbled into a food carnival. So, take a whirl at it in the ever-expanding Liberty Hill (okay, maybe a smidge of sarcasm involved...). Definitely worth a try..

Best burger I ever had. Mushroom Swiss Angus Burger on a Brioche roll with lettuce, tomato & onion. So juicy, & perfectly cooked. And the service was EXCELLENT!

Wonderful place with great atmosphere. Like most restaurant shacks the place offered a great verity of food. We had shrimp and grits with chicken fried chicken. Great potions and the food tasted wonderfully homie.

We had a great experience today. We can't wait to go back and try another item on the menu. Food was served quickly, hot, and tasty. Simple fun family down home atmosphere and I can say this will be our new goto after church on Sunday. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Great place for the whole family.

The place is pretty cool. You can sit inside or outside. If you sit outside, they have tons of fans and misters to cool you down. The staff is always super friendly. The menu has lots of options. The burgers are delicious. Chicken fried steak is huge. My favorite is the burning ring of fire burger.

First time at Danila Cafe and liked it. Beautiful outdoor patio with gorgeous oak trees , providing shade and breeze during hot fall days. Western style playground. Outdoor bar and plenty sitting for large groups. Food was ok.

We got there at about 6:15, on a Friday night, so we had a bit of a wait. Party of 4. They offer drinks, play area, and live music in the area you wait in, so you have entertainment. The staff is great. The food is so good. And don't forget dessert 😉. I took pics of the small and large chicken fried steak, and the burger, forgot to get pics of the desserts. (The chicken fried steaks are on different sized plates. Definitely a difference!!)
Parking does fill up, especially on the weekends!

I'm going to go out of my way and say this is one of the better food establishments I've been to.
1. The service was amazing from the host to the server who was very attentive while being busy herself. Way to go Marlowe!
2. The burger itself was lightly seasoned but the pulled pork made up for the flavor. Though the food was enormous and the portion size filled the plate, I felt like the price was worth it.
3. The setting was very spacious and nobody was too close or too far away. I didn't have to shout or whisper to have a conversation.
I would definitely return!

Too bad there is not a water or pasture view, but other than that, it's very charming. Affordable, fun menu, tasty food with excellent service. The zydeco dip and the fried chicken livers are a must! It must be packed on Friday and Saturday night when there is live music, but there is ample parking in the back and misters in the outside seating area. Bathroom was old and worn, but very clean. We will definitely return again and again to try the whole menu, but those livers made my day!

This place is beyond delicious!!! Food coked to perfection!!!! I have tried multiple meals on the menu. And it is spot on every time. Never disappoints!! Love this place. My picky 5 year old eater devours their meals and asks for second. I highly recommend this restaurant
