Bob's Catfish-N-More Restaurant

We started our day of chores with an early lunch at Bob's. You have to know about this place because it's tucked away from the main activity although still easy enough to get to. Being one of the first patrons of the day, and with only one other party eating at the time, our orders came out quickly. The fried foods were crispy, fresh and clean tasting. The slaw and beans were also very good. I had the 5-piece catfish dinner and it actually came with 7 pieces...but they were more like nuggets than fillets. Nonetheless, it was all good enough that we'll likely be going back. It was nice that the owner stopped by our table to see if everything was to our satisfaction.

Fantastic family owned and operated place. The catfish was amazing 😍! Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The fried okra was perfect. The kids LOVED the jalapeno hush puppies. Will definitely eat here on my next visit. The service is exactly what I would expect from the south, they made us feel like family. We came in with 2 adults and 8 kids (ranging from 2 to 15 years old) and the staff was awesome with all of us!

Best catfish in town! Perfectly battered, with golden fries, pinto beans and cole slaw. Delicious!

I haven’t had good catfish since I left Georgia. This place is that kind of good. I tried the other catfish place and it doesn’t come close. The catfish was cooked perfect, the hush puppies were different but very good, the beans were flavorful and well done. I would and will go back.

Oh my goodness... Crispy Fresh Catfish, crunchy okra, jalapeno hush puppies, tangy coleslaw... It was so worth it... We finally got the open hours right and got there right at 5pm... Fast, friendly service... the place has some clutter, but clean... Definitely well used place....

Cute place inside. Friendly service. Crispy fried catfish that was very fresh and not the least bit greasy. You can see Bob frying it up right after you order. Excellent hush puppies that are thick and flavorful again without being greasy. If you want to spice up the red sauce ask for some of their horseradish --- it will make you go "Wow". Want to go back and try the fried shrimp.

Quaint and truly a Mom and Pop shop. Basic menu of deep fried southern comfort food in catfish, shrimp and oysters...all deep fried. If you have a sweet tooth, close as you will get is sweet tea..no desserts on the menu and I did not miss it. You won't walk out hungry.

The shop itself is eclectic at best with souvenirs and memoirs from good times gone by and new ones being created. Oldest family owned establishment in Georgetown is the claim.

Bob is still cooking in the midst of covid, and weather, serving great fish and food.I also really enjoy his coleslaw and homemade tartar sauce. We have been ordering for pick up but the restaurant dining room has been open. Always a friendly smile and food ready for pick up in less than 30 minutes.

The food was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect and what we wanted.. 50 bucks for three plates and two of them were the most experience on the menu.. not bad. Overall it was a very good experience in a relaxing environment with great food. Two thumbs up..

Hands down the best fish place in Georgetown TX! Catfish Parlor is over priced and the food sucks.
Bob's Catfish taste great and the prices are very fair. Best coleslaw I ever tasted. The wait staff knows everyone's order if you go back frequently.
Friday is all you can eat Catfish and Shrimp for $15.95
You can't beat that especially since it's freaking delicious.

Absolutely awesome food everything was delicious, I love catfish & this was the best ever, cole slaw, hush puppies & beans, all excellent. Thank y'all best 53rd Anniversary lunch. We will be back regularly

Bob's is one of my favorite Williamson County lunch spots. Bob is usually there, the catfish is perfect, the portions are generous and the wait staff are the best. My high school pal from Temple and I use it as our halfway point.

I never knew catfish could be so delicious! Bob and his staff are skilled and friendly. The decor will make you feel like you are back in your home town. Try the fisherman's platter.

The best catfish, hush puppies, coleslaw and beans!! Served while still hot and fried to perfection. Light and crispy catfish. Oh, so fresh tasting. Served by friendly waitress.

We live two blocks from Bob's and it is addicting. Usually eat there once a week at least. I also work at a strip center just a few blocks away and so get a great lunch from there. I can't believe anyone would be anything but happy with the food and Bob is a great person.

WOW! What a cool down home spot! Food is excellent, portion size is good! Catfish, shrimp, hushpuppies and coleslaw r off the chain. Bob is celebrating 38 years & i say congrats!

Bob gets his food from a wholesale place in San Antonio Texas I asked him the last time we went to eat folks this food is truly the best
Just called Bobs drove up they handed our us food and it was outstanding I miss setting down inside but Bob came outside talked to us and we went home the catfish was wonderful I try to go often this is a 5 star place to my family

This place is super cozy. My husband had the Catfish and I had the chicken fried steak. Both were pretty good. Everyone was pretty friendly.

Great family owned restaurant. They just celebrated 41 years of business at this location. That says a lot about their food and service.
